China Wok in Jacksonville is one of my personal favorites! I can never decide between the Honey Chicken or the Coconut Shrimp because they are both so delicious! I will never go here again. I've tried different items hoping that it gets better and it never does. I stoped by yesterday and ordered the Chicken Broccoli and a Chicken Curry neither one had any flavor and the broccoli was over cooked and limp. Honestly I wasn't expecting much but I was extremely surprised!!! The lady that took my order was so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely great and the portion size is huge. One entree with fried rice is enough for 2 people and Imma fat boy at heart and it was more than enough for me and my wife. Basically, all food is prepared and visible at counter. Could see the cooks frantically cooking in kitchen. Ordered 1 entree with side meal (Beef/Broccoli and sauced noodles). To-go tray was VERY full! Great deal for$5.00 and it tasted great! Broccoli was cooked crisp tender and sufficient sliced beef. Noodles and sauces were on point. Interior - Only 2 guests eating (one table) inside. There were 2 ladies working front of house. They were quick, but not too friendly. Felt rushed. Overall, good food in a rush. Whenever it's Friday it has become a tradition to order two things from China Wok: 1) Shrimp Fried Rice 2) Orange Chicken. The other takeout that my wife and I have had from here has always been hot, fresh and most importantly mouth watering. The best part is that they have a drive thru so you can be extra lazy and not walk in to the restaurant if you don't want. There is a reason this place always has a line. I went here Friday night after 9pm cause they are open till 10pm. I was okay till I completed my order. I ordered Shrimp & Broccoli with fried rice. The guy came off very disrespectful to me after I ordered my meal. I'm standing there going thru my phone looking for a pic of a meal to see if they have it. This guy gonna tell me, ( you made your order move away from the counter ) from this point on 9-18-2017 I will NOT ever go back. There's China Buffet & there's an Asian location behind Arby's on Main Street, I'll go to one of them before I ever come back to this location, and the lady always say ( YOU ASK FOR EGG ROLL, or she will flip it around and ask if you want an egg roll ) I politely told her, ( DID I ASK FOR EGGROLL ).... but I'm so damn serious, I don't even want my wife coming up here. Plus I have yet to see a food truck here delivering any food, I don't see a SYSCO or BEN E KEITH truck up here delivering food.
