The food was cold, dried out, and some of it was as tough as shoe leather. Terrible service, with no one receiving refills. The sweet tea was barely passable for sweet tea. The food was obviously reheated from yesterday. we arrived at noon for lunch, and food cannot dry out that badly in 2 hours....maybe at high heat, but the food was cold. I had to spit it out onto a plate some of it was so tough. To top it all off, it was hot as hell in there, like they really wanted to save a few bucks on the light bill than have their customers not sweating. Over all horrible experience in almost every way. I then noticed no one left a tip on the table. I really believe the new management is going to get that place closed in no time at all. Yuk, and disappointed. I stopped by for lunch. I grabbed a to go container. I was surprised to see they did not weigh my food. The price is already set no matter what's in your container and I like that! That was the first time I experienced that. The lady was nice to me. I also like that the fried rice did not have eggs I recommend stopping in if you're like me and want a variety of food. read more

Showed up closer to closing time. The girl behind the counter said we could look and see if we wanted to eat but they would not be cooking anymore. So we opted to stay and eat. As we were getting our first plate. Three women walked in and all had to go containers. They filled up 7-8 containers before paying and leaving. When i went back to get a second plate and try some of the other offerings... 90% of what i had looked to try, was gone. I just didn't know that closing soon, and having to go containers and emptying out everything while people are still there was an option. I just felt very cheated out of my money. I know that i agreed to more food not being cooked, but allowing people in to take it all.... bad taste read more

This place is attached to a shady-looking motel so we were obviously apprehensive. However, we were pleasantly surprised! It wasn't huge, but the selection was good. They had chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. There were a few vegetarian options, mostly rice and noodles. They had crawfish and a nice local showed us how to eat them. Our son loved them! It was a great place to try lots of new things for kids, and the traditional favorites for the adults. They had a small, but nice, selection of desserts. General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, honey chicken, shrimp with onion, fried shrimp, seafood salad, beef with broccoli, pork egg roll, spring roll, sweet and sour chicken, crawfish, chicken wings, vegetable lo mein, vegetable fried rice, sushi, and more. Tried China wok for the first time this evening and was extremely happy!! We ordered crab Rangoon wonton soup steamed dumplings and 3 plate meals I had beef and broccoli hubby had general Taos and the kids had sweet and sour chicken ! Everyone in my family was delighted with their food! Portions were huge !! Food was amazing and fresh ! We will definitely be ordering there again ! Highly recommended !!! read more

This is one of my son's favorite places to eat. He eats mainly chicken and potatoes. Here he gets to be a big boy and choose his own food, talk to the wait staff and even "pay". Very family friendly place with a good variety to choose from. Go early in service though. At the end of a service all the food begins to taste the same. read more

The food wasn't bad but most of it was cold! There is quite a bit of variety for a place this size. They had crab Rangoon, crawfish, sushi, and then some Chinese staples such as orange chicken and chicken fried rice. All in all I would go back but probably during the weekend when they are likely a lot busier and place fresh food out more frequently. read more

Ordered last week from China Wok Buffet, take out. Had a large hot and sour soup and chicken mei fun. The soup was really good - had lots of tofu, mushrooms and bamboo shoots in them and very well spiced. The chicken mei fun was really good as well, well spiced. Will definitely return!!! read more

went here on a Wednesday at 1200. The food was all fresh and everything tasted better than what I expected for a Chinese Buffet. Total price including drink came to $8.50 so that wasn't too bad. I tried literally everything on the buffet tables. There are three tables with everything you would expect such as General Tso's Chicken and lo mein. The wonton soup was good. This is probably the best quality chinese buffet I have ever visited. There is another Chinese buffet across the street that I have not visited yet so I am unable to compare the quality. My only complaint was that the chicken on a stick was very dry. There were other chicken dishes out that did not have this problem and I was surprised that everything else was cooked so perfectly. Other than that one chicken dish everything was very good, especially considering what you usually get at a buffet. The waitress/hostess was very courteous and friendly and ensured my drink stayed filled throughout my meal. I would come here again. read more

If I could give it a 0 i would. The only thing good about this place is the sauteed green beans. The smell of the food was bad, i picked at it and pushed it away from me. Screeeeaacch. Stop reading the reviews. This buffet needs to get its act together. 1) I get it, it's a Chinese buffet. The music selection (Nightmare C-Pop), though, was a horror show, and gave off bad ambiance... which I think affected the taste of the food, which may have curved this entire review. But seriously, you have two families in the restaurant, turn down the dbs. 2) White rice looks like it's been re-used for a day or two. Some of the rice was crunchy, indicative of it being left to sit while the cooker is on, but no one stirring it. 3) Dessert looks like someone just puts a cover on top at the end of the night, after everyone has been picking through it, and re-used the next business day. 4) There are several common 'cornerstone' dishes to a Chinese buffet, and they're all usually fatty, greasy, and saturated (but they don't have to be). Don't head here if you're on a diet. Their beef and chicken looks like someone mixed in a whole container of corn starch. Somehow, the green beans still tasted like they came right out of a freezer bag and into the wok. read more

Easily the best Chinese food in town. Surpasses its competitors. Food is fresh and well made, staff is very friendly, not overly expensive.

Our favorite oriental restaurant in the area. Never had a bad meal and we have eaten many times here. Staff are polite and prompt.

Would not recommend this place. The food was horrible. The General Tso's chicken tastes nothing like General Tso's chicken and wasn't spicy in the least. The fried shrimp hadn't been deveined (I don't like eating shrimp poop!). The crab wontons were disgusting and after I sampled those things I quit trying. read more
