Me and my son had gone here to Hickory and we ordered out food and the young lady that took out order was very nice and sweet. Got our food and the lady who brung the food to us was very nice too and we got in the car and looked at our food and make sure everything was right and the food was hot and the was amazing we enjoyed it and my son couldn't wait to get home he ate it on the way home lol he wasn't going to wait but we will order again from them too. The salad was fresh and crunchy. We all had the catfish with fries and coleslaw. The food was very hot when plates arrived to our table. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. If you like authentic spicy and yummy seafood, crawfish, or smoked meats,... This is the place! The sinks along the side of the dining room indicate good finger-licking crawfish. But only after 4 PM so I had to order the shrimp. All is good. The sweet Miss at the counter was authentic cajun, sweet and sassy, with a lot of yes ma'am's thrown in. The service is horrible, the management is very discriminating against certain people's families but polite to others, discriminates against first responders, firefighters, and police, and sheriffs deputies, treats their employees like trash doesn't follow labor laws and is in horrible cleanliness standards, the food is never cooked properly and people with fish allergies don't matter to the management heads, because they force their employees to cook every dish inside the same fish grease even if someone is allergic to fish and shellfish, they do not care and do not care bout others well being. What a great little gem on the outskirts of Leesville. We walked in just before closing time and they were kind enough to feed us and tell us not to rush at all. The BBQ was really good. Brisket and turkey poboys were Smokey and delicious with the best buttered and crispy bread. We will make a special one-hour run over to Leesville just to eat here again soon. The staff is so sweet, the AC felt great and it was perfectly clean and peaceful. I took my boys and my Dad here on the recommendation of the local folks. We definitely enjoyed our meals. The ribs were delicious. The BBQ Ham was on point and the BBQ sausage was really good.
