I've been to China Wok more than a few times now, so this review isn't based on one visit. First, let me give credit where it's due... those chicken wings are ABSOLUTELY FIRE. Crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and whatever they marinate them in needs to be studied. I'm talking about the kind of wings that have you looking at the bones like, "You sure there ain't one more bite left?" Every single time I come here, wings are mandatory. Now... let's have a family meeting about the fried rice. Man... that fried rice got all the personality of plain oatmeal. It tastes like they cooked some parboiled rice, waved a soy sauce bottle over it, and called it a day. I even paid extra--$1 each for bean sprouts, eggs, and onions--to try to bring it to life, and somehow it still tasted like it was on a hunger strike. That's the frustrating part because those wings prove this kitchen KNOWS how to season food. If they put even half that same love into the fried rice, this place would be dangerous. So here's my verdict: Chicken Wings: 10/10 - Worth the trip every single time. Fried Rice: Needs a serious intervention. More wok, more seasoning, more flavor... something! I'm still coming back... but let's just say the wings are carrying this team like Michael Jordan in the '90s. read more

As soon as you come here you see the door in the front and the back of the restaurant is open. I noticed a cook in the back that was using his hands to sautéed the chicken. He should be wearing gloves. The woman that take orders was not plesabtThe restroom is out of service. I feel like this place may have alot of health code violations. Fried rice is NOT supposed to be yellow and this place serves yellow fried rice. I brought home a quart of chicken fried rice and ended up doctoring it up for it to actually taste and look like true friend rice. So I reheated it in a pan and added a fried egg, butter and soy sauce with some sesame oil and voila I made my $10 quart of yellow rice fried rice. Nothing like going to grab take out, but yet still end up cooking lol I was more mad for spending $10 on a quart of rice that I could've made better myself and saved $10. read more

Took a chance and ordered here . Regretted it instantly. Opened my noodles and there was the LONGEST HAIR EVER . Waist long hair right on top mixed with my noodles .Bag completely sealed so it 100% came from restaurant. Absolutely ruined my dinner and appetite. my mother went to china wok yesterday to pick up a family meal that cost 79 dollars . within 2 hours of her getting the food and arriving back home (we live out of town) we noticed the food was spoiled. she wanted to bring it to the restaurant's attention today when she went back to Ft. Lauderdale today but forgot the pan home. I WhatsApp called her so she can show that the food was not touched but very much left in tact (there are 7 mouths to feed this summer) . my mother just wanted to provide feedback to the restaurant about her experience and how not every experience has been this way. instead of acknowledging the fact the served food that was SPOILED rice instead of Fried Rice, I heard how they repeatedly accused my mother of trying to get free food and told her to DRIVE 4 HOURS ROUND TRIP to bring a pan of SPOILED food back for their review because they have a "policy". how about take the constructive criticism and DO BETTER. please do not come to this restaurant, spend your money some where else because for them to have subpar food in the first place their customer service is worse than the food they serve. and if they respond to this review I SAID WHAT I SAID because I witnessed the entire interaction. start doing better ! read more

It took me a while to find that special spot, that little place that I love their food and will keep going back to and this place China Wok is my fave little spot to pick up lunch or dinner. Doesn't have much sit down eating space , it's a small store front restaurant. The prices are comparable with other places but not with the quality of food, it is not the same. I went to pick up my order and I walked in and the guy in the kitchen was blowing his nose snot on his face, and then I thought he would go wash his hands, but he went into the fridge and started grabbing peoples food and drinks out, touching everything. Ive been to China Wok alot over the years, ive always gotten a Chicken or Shrimp & broccoli from them, the taste is great but i like my food with more sauce. I also order the bone in spare rib tips from time to time. Sometimes it is perfect and tender, and other times it is tougher. If I could give China wok 0 stars I would. We have a menu at home and my mother used numbers on menu to order to make it easier as it's hard for her to communicate with the lady that answers the phone here. When the lunch menu shrimp with lobster sauce (L41.) was not delivered, and there was a chicken dish in its place she called back and was met by an aggressive argumentative person on the line, and I'm assuming the same lady that took the order. I got on the call to try to explain better but was met with the same onslaught of tasteless comments and was better spoken over which is incredibly obnoxious. The lady actually told me to come to her store and she will show me her menu numbers. I explained that I ordered delivery because I didn't want to come to her store and the way she was behaving was not professional or reasonable. They had my order in the system but hadn't started it yet. They didn't apologise, refund or add any incentives because of the wait. They just said they'd make it now. It ended up getting delivered around an hour later, a total THREE HOUR wait. The food was alright. Not much above food-court quality. The orange chicken was pretty good but the beef and vegetables disappointed. I'd say it could be worth the low price if not for the inconvenience. After your driver cursed me out because I didn't tip which I was thinking about it but I didn't like his attitude. But regardless I'm not entitled to give him a tip. There is a reason this restaurant only has 2 stars, THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE. I got the bourbon chicken which was so dry you could barely chew the chicken. It was like chicken jerky. In fact I've had beef jerky more tender than this piss-poor excuse of a chicken dish. I estimate by the dried out edges the chicken was cooked 2-3 days ago. My daughter got beef and broccoli which had ZERO FLAVOR. The sauce was like brown water, I mean can't you add Soy sauce??? Here's the worst part, I called to complain and ask for a refund offering to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant to return the food and was told they don't do refunds. I strongly suggested they give me a refund and she finally agreed and said no reason to drive back. You guessed it 3 days later no refund. I called back to speak to the manager and he flat out refused to issue a refund because he "didn't have the card info". I said I'll drive the food and my card over. I used to love China wok, but today I was so disappointed. I got the sesame chicken (lunch) The chicken was extremely overcooked, too tough to eat it was dry and stringy when you ripped it apart, and there was barely any chicken to begin with. The rice was ok, but there was way too much, the side where the chicken is supposed to be was more than halfway full with rice. I also got honey garlic wings and the sauce was whitish clear and it looked like snot, not very appetizing at all. Hopefully the food gets better, either the chef doesn't care or he doesn't know what he's doing, I've never had bad chinese food until today. read more
