China Wok was such a delicious, pleasant and tasty surprise. Take out from here was some of the freshest and most flavorful Chinese food I have had in a long time. Despite it being the Lunar New Year, delivery was quick and the food came pipping hot. It was packaged perfectly, with no spills or leaks and ensured the best quality. The portions were huge, making it perfect to share. A personal favorite of mine when ordering this type of cuisine, is to share, so I appreciate the bigger portion sizes. The food warmed up perfectly the next day, as well. The dumplings were packed with flavors and cooked to perfection. The orange chicken and beef were delectable, with the perfect amount of sweet and salty and the broccoli was absolutely divine. Another favorite of mine! I don't know how the reviews for China Wok aren't higher! Our food was good! I had a taste for Chinese and found them on Instacart. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. Doh! I had a taste for broccoli something so I got the beef with broccoli. My partner ordered the Roast Port Yat Gaw Mein. I had absolutely no idea what it was and...... it didn't really look very appetizing to me, but she'd always wanted to try it. You can't go wrong with beef & broccoli so I was happy. My craving was satisfied. And, so was my partners. She loved her dish as well. They were both very large portions. Mine came with some perfectly cooked white rice. This was our first Chinese carry out we ate at upon moving to Owings Mills in 2004 and we still frequent it in 2026. The food is somewhat consistent my only issue is sometimes the fried rice can be Amazing and then next order it's ok. But customer service is always consistent for us(they know us when we walk in) and since it's a carry out the ambiance isn't grand but it's clean all the time. The customer service is great, and I really appreciate that they have a website for ordering; that's not something you find at most Asian food places! Finally tried this place! It's right next to a coffee shop I frequent and business is always booming so why not? Welp, I called to order a small shrimp lo mein and shrimp toast. They don't sell shrimp toast. That was strike 1-4 for me. I did proceed to order shrimp lo mein. Went in to pick up and it was ready on time. The flavor was good but the shrimp were very small. Smallest shrimp I've ever had. When I asked for a "small shrimp lo..." nevermind. Needless to say I won't be back. I've been craving Chinese food for a while and was so excited to be in owings Mills to try China Wok. I used to go to the location in owings Mills Blvd but that has been closed so i decided to try this location and was pretty disappointed. I ordered on the phone and when we arrived, the food was already ready. Aesthetically, the location looked a bit old and run down and i think that also played a role in the taste of the food for me. There was plenty of parking available in the parking lot. I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken wings with fried rice. The chicken was okay, I only was able to tolerate 1 piece, it tasted like it was cooked in very old oil. The fried rice was okay... nothing special. The soups were good. Egg roll was good but it went down hill from there. Items looked good but when we tasted them this is what we found out. My General Tso's Chicken - Chicken was over cooked, fried twice to where the chicken was hard, clumped together, and stringy with a sugar glaze on it. Yuck. My wife had the Bean Curd Home Style and the bean curd was also way over cooked. Final insults were, no fortune in my fortune cookie and the little bag of crispy noodles had this printed on the bag " Contains Bioengineered Food Ingredients". 05/01/2024 I've been to this place before but its been quite some years since last I've been here and it showed in there food quality. I ordered 3 whole wing chicken meal 2 with fried rice and the 3rd with french fried. The checken was mediocre at best and to say the fried rice was horribly nasty is being nice about it. If you can destroy fried chicken wings and basic fried rice then you can guarantee I will never EVER eat here again. This place is 100% TRASH read more

Ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Young combo. It comes with an egg roll and fried rice. I opted for white rice instead. The egg roll was not fresh and it was small and had very little filling. It didn't have any pork or shrimp in it just cabbage. The Egg Foo Young was fresh and had a good flavor. They put plenty of gravy on it. Almost too much, as the patties were very thin. The shrimp are small and scarce. I believe I had 3 in the one patty I ate tonight. I ate half of the other and there was only one shrimp in that half. Overall, it tasted okay. It could've been seasoned better but it wasn't the worse I've ever had. The lack of shrimp in my Shrimp Egg Foo Young was left much to be desired. China Wok has been our go to Chinese restaurant first the past ten years! We haven't experimented much with some of the other dishes but highly recommend their fried rice, lomein and wings! Their combo option is a great deal too. Their curries can sometimes be a bit on the sweet side so be sure to bring that up if that's not your cup of tea. Also be prepared for the occasional brusque service when ordering and/or picking up. I've learned not to take it personally and attribute that to them just being really busy! :) The restaurant has done a really good job of adjusting to COVID 19 standards and are very strict about delivery pick up etc. so that's also very reassuring. read more

We ordered delivery through Yelp's app. We ordered Pork Wontons, Hot and Sour Soup, Pork Lo Mein and General Tso's Chicken. Delivery was quick and everything was hot. That's about all that was good. The wontons were undercooked and still chewy, not crisp. They provided a large container of duck sauce but it was pretty watered down and had barely any flavor. The Hot and Sour soup tasted more like a peppery meat broth than like the traditional Hot and Sour flavor, it wasn't sour at all. It didn't have any Wood Ear mushy, just Shiitake. The Pork Lo Mein came in a container the same size as the rice which was tiny, the smallest Chinese carton size available. It tasted okay but there wasn't much pork. The General Tso's wasn't spicy at all and not very flavorful. There wasn't a spicy red pepper in sight and it had four very small broccoli pieces, no onions or peppers. Overall for the price it was as poor value for the price. I'll find somewhere else to eat next time. read more

This was the absolute worse carry out meal I have ever purchased. The meal arrived in a timely manner but I bet you can't guess what the first meal is suppose to be #ribtips I think not!!!!!!! Oh! And did I mention the long ass hair I found in my food. and of course, they didn't want to issue a refund. They refunded one meal as if the rice from the second meal did not come from the same batch of rice that had the hair in it. Nothing in particular stands out to me as being amazing from their menu. But I will say, I am always satisfied with my order and continue to return. So I got pan fried dumplings and the sesame chicken combo. Started with dumplings. Flavor was ok, nothing great. But the dough was about way to thick and not cooked all the way. I'm a fan of the orange chicken - which is almost all chicken and next to no fatty/greasy breading. The specials around $5.35 and under (plus tax), and come with white or vegetable fried rice.
