Ummmm, this is different!!

Finally tried this place! It's right next to a coffee shop I frequent and business is always booming so why not? Welp, I called to order a small shrimp lo mein and shrimp toast. They don't sell shrimp toast. That was strike 1-4 for me. I did proceed to order shrimp lo mein. Went in to pick up and it was ready on time. The flavor was good but the shrimp were very small. Smallest shrimp I've ever had. When I asked for a "small shrimp lo..." nevermind. Needless to say I won't be back. Too many other nearby competitors that have shrimp toast and acceptable sized shrimp.

I've been craving Chinese food for a while and was so excited to be in owings Mills to try China Wok. I used to go to the location in owings Mills Blvd but that has been closed so i decided to try this location and was pretty disappointed. I ordered on the phone and when we arrived, the food was already ready. Aesthetically, the location looked a bit old and run down and i think that also played a role in the taste of the food for me. There was plenty of parking available in the parking lot. I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken wings with fried rice. The chicken was okay, I only was able to tolerate 1 piece, it tasted like it was cooked in very old oil. The fried rice was okay... nothing special. Compared to the location on owings Mills Blvd, this food is lacking.

Food is. Expensive, and not flavorful. Delivery was pretty fast, but I wouldn't order again.

The quality of food has really gone down. It's okay I guess if you really need a late night fix…read more I went to Lucky Bamboo House after getting off work. For a steamed shrimp and broccoli with the gravy used for egg foo young on the side with a pint of white rice. I gave the young man specific directions to make the broccoli tender. It took about 10mins to prepare the food. When I went to the counter to pick up my food my gut feeling said I was going to be disappointed. But I wanted to have faith that wouldn't be the case. When I arrived home I opened the container needless I was very disappointed. The broccoli wasn't as I requested. It was hard and the whole dish was luke warm. The gravy shook like jello. It was no pouring it out smoothly. The rice was okay. But this was $15 of my hard earned money. I wasn't going to leave a review. But it's hard to get restaurant establishments to acknowledge their lack luster food preparation habits and to satisfy their customers patronizing their business. I hope this review reaches them. And they go back to the drawing board and put out good hot food no matter what time of day it is. This establishment could also use a visual upgrade as well.

Having grown up with peanut oil, which enhances flavor, it is available upon request, which I always do. Asian Court Restaurant is within walking distance of a supermarket and other shops, which is conducive to one-stop shopping. And most of the patio is always in the shade for outdoor dining on sunny days. If I lived closer, I would eat there at least once everyday. I've also tried the Owings Mills location, which is second only because there is not outdoor dining available.

We had a 7:00 PM reservation for seven -- planned largely around my son's birthday request and his love of Dim Sum. Unfortunately, Dim Sum isn't available on Tuesday nights, which was a minor disappointment since our previous Sunday visit gave us the full Dim Sum experience. We shifted to ordering family-style and were genuinely pleased with the meal. The Moo Shu Pork, Peking Duck, Chicken Fried Rice, Mápó Dòufu, and Bok Choy were all flavorful and well-prepared. Everything came with won ton soup and tea, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. The atmosphere feels authentic and comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout the evening. The manager tried to steer us toward several suggested dishes -- it was a bit unclear whether this was purely helpful guidance or an effort to highlight readily available items -- but we appreciated the input and did enjoy the bok choy recommendation. Pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, despite the Dim Sum surprise, it was an enjoyable and satisfying dinner. We would absolutely return -- just on a weekend next time for Dim Sum.

Although the menu has quite a few unconventional items, I was a little disappointed not to have found basics I was craving -- shrimp toast and shrimp egg rolls. The egg rolls I got were quite thin, but, much more disappointingly, not at all crispy. I ate them in the car to catch them before they got soggy, but was not successful... soft and quite forgettable. MuShu pork was good, but the 'extra pancakes' did not come with extra sauce. (The original 6 pancakes are plenty btw). The sauce (concentrated, dark, not the typical hoisin) did not go a long way and I wished I had more of it as it ran out half way through the dish. The house lo mein was ok, not quite as flavorful as I've had from other places (maybe less msg? lol). Three Cup chicken I was excited to try after seeing it in all reviews was fine, but I think I'll just get general Tso or sesame chicken next. Over all, I think I'll give it another chance -- trying various items -- but so far, I'm not impressed. The dining room looked lovely by the way, but, like I said, I got carry out so can't comment on the service.
