The quality of food has really gone down. It's okay I guess if you really need a late night fix. I went to Lucky Bamboo House after getting off work. For a steamed shrimp and broccoli with the gravy used for egg foo young on the side with a pint of white rice. I gave the young man specific directions to make the broccoli tender. It took about 10mins to prepare the food. When I went to the counter to pick up my food my gut feeling said I was going to be disappointed. But I wanted to have faith that wouldn't be the case. When I arrived home I opened the container needless I was very disappointed. The broccoli wasn't as I requested. It was hard and the whole dish was luke warm. The gravy shook like jello. It was no pouring it out smoothly. The rice was okay. But this was $15 of my hard earned money. I wasn't going to leave a review. But it's hard to get restaurant establishments to acknowledge their lack luster food preparation habits and to satisfy their customers patronizing their business. I hope this review reaches them. And they go back to the drawing board and put out good hot food no matter what time of day it is. This establishment could also use a visual upgrade as well. read more

Whenever I order from here I usually order shrimp with broccoli but in white sauce . Usually I have a great experience . This last time was terrible . The white sauce tasted like they forgot the garlic and tasted watered down and no flavor . My husband said his Hunan beef meat was horrible and tasted like they may have thrown in dog food . I usually have no problems but I'm not sure if they changed employees or what but horrible experience. I wanted some different flavor chinese food, and decided to try this place. The menu indicated that they sell roast pork egg foo young. I ordered the food and asked for brown rice. I paid two dollars extra for brown rice. The food was horrible! The rice was hard(not thoroughly cooked) , the patties were stringy, with a unrecognizable vegetable I guess. The pork was hard and in small chunks. I was very hungry , but this meal is going in the garbage. I have tried this place a few times now and find their food pretty tasty. It has been hard to find really good Chinese joint food around these parts but this place is good. I have tried the shrimp and broccoli and General tso wings and garlic wings. Not one in the bunch disappointed though the shrimp broccoli could have used a lot more sauce !! Definitely do NOT support them! I have been supporting them for a long time. Almost weekly! Tonight we were met with a two hour delay in food delivery, without apology. When we open the food which was cold, half our order was missing. We brought it to the attention of the manager who was unapologetic, did not offer any solution and was not willing to issue a partial refund for food we paid for but was not delivered! We believe in supporting small businesses, but this is unacceptable. We also understand this is trying times, but your reaction to issues go further than anything. NOOOOOOO.....RUN.....Don't do it!! I ordered and just stood around while my food was being prepared in the middle of the day. The guy cooking (not 'A' cook, the one cook-ING) sneezed, covered his nose and mouth with his hands and then went back to handling food. My family and I usually order our Chinese food from here. The food is affordable, staff is professional and very nice. There's always deals (free item) for ordering a certain amount through delivery. Ours is typically $60 so we usually get a free soda and/or a pint of shrimp fried rice :) Delivery takes about 20 mins and if there's ever any issues, they're happy to fix it for you. This place has been hit or miss. I know they haven't changed cooks (at least they've had the same staff when I pickup my order). Trying something different, I was attracted to sesame shrimp. So here's what happened: I ordered through grubhub. The food was a half hour later than I was told it would be (total wait time = 1 hour 30 mins). When the delivery man showed up, as soon as I opened the door, he stepped into my home and stuck his foot in front of the door so I couldn't close it... The whole thing really freaked me out. Thankfully he left without further incident but I was shaken up. Then, my order was wrong. I ordered chow mein but what I got was a mix of veggies and sprouts in an odd white cloudy colored sauce... No noodles at all. Not sure what it actually was. I let Grubhub know, and they contacted me to let me know they'd contacted the restaurant and the restaurant had refused to refund my order. We ordered dinner tonight for the first time from this location. After a reasonable time, the food was delivered. As my husband was unpacking the bag he noticed the sauce for the sweet and sour dish was missing. He immediately called and was told a replacement would be sent out. Forty minutes later, he called again, was told the rest of the family should have just eaten, and so it wasn't the restaurant's fault that our meals were cold. They refused to offer a refund of any kind, or to send fresh food, and were rude on the phone. We were told the sauce would get there when the other deliveries were made. Nearly an hour and a half after our original order was placed a driver delivery cold, congealed sweet and sour sauce. After speaking with the owner (turns out it was her son who was so terribly rude earlier) it was decided that the only way we could get a refund for the inedible food and incomplete order was if we allowed them to come pick the food up. They did, and had to be asked three times to step out of our doorway so our cats wouldn't get out. They then proceeded to take pictures of the food out on our front lawn. Used to get delivery here very often until they messed up our entire order, charged us extra, and then the woman proceeded to tell us that we could come and pick up the food that was left out if we drop off the food that was incorrect....when I told them I was not interested they ended up SHOWING UP at our door demanding that we give the incorrect food back. When I gave it back to the young boy untouched, he handed me the correct order and said "I guess you weren't lying"....pretty sad and I'm pretty sure they gave that food to someone else which is a different problem all on it's own.
