I would love to give the wok a great review. The food arrived hot, (via door dash) the food was very tasty. We ordered general tso chicken which was very tasty. I also got veggie Lomein which was great. But, I also ordered chicken and broccoli. It had a bug in it. Appetite was lost, and unfortunately I can't go back.

    Hair on shrimp

So, before I got to the hair in my food... I had already planned to review this restaurant bc good taste and value and extremely hard to find here in Reisterstown. Initially I was turned off by the greasy egg roll. So much so that it was hard to remove from the packet. I didn't remove it, bc I didn't sit down with a paper towel to blot the grease. The food smelled great. My first view of the combination platter was mixed, it was a smaller portion than I expected but it had good sized shrimp. The sauce consistency (kind of thick, not as spicy either) was not what I expected for schezuan, which I've had from other Asian restaurants. I start eating and I come across a hair like string, it had the look almost of a wood string if you cook with wooden utensils... I'm trying to push pass that- I looked under a brighter light and everything. It was thicker like hair and became very thin on the end, similar to a split end- but the color wasn't screaming "hair" like I said, maybe a wooden spoon splinter. Then, I found actual hair, perhaps an eyelash, bc it was short... but that was it (last straw). I called the restaurant Vs my bank first for a refund. They wanted me to comeback and get a new order- no thanks. I'd like a refund. As a solution, they came to pick up all of the uneaten food in order to issue a refund (no problem with me)... I'd just say buyer beware. I'm frustrated bc of course I'm hungry- but it feels better to get the money back Vs being hungry and without my cash.

Pretty good Chinese joint. Only tried one dish so far but it's good. The egg rolls are very good. Try this place out.

The food is good and ready quickly. A little expensive compared to some other Chinese but not outrageous. Plus the food is better

More people need to speak up and leave recent reviews on this place because the presentation when you walk in is terrible like they block themselves in with tables, you can't see them coming your food at all, they block it, the fish tank is dirty like the water have been changed in years those poor fishies, and it's just never clean looking. They don't make up for it with quality food either. The food we ordered 4 wings and shrimp fried rice just to be safe. My bf gets other stuff sometimes but I don't trust them enough. So I give them a chance to get it right every once in a while and they get no better. My last order yesterday was the last for me. So I request my wings FRESH & They can't even get that right. The chicken is consistently recooked (look at real chicken when you get it especially at night double dipped in the fryer and it's yellow) despite us asking for fresh chicken this time. We usually ask for chicken cooked soft but no matter what terminology we use to try to get them to give us fresh chicken, it is cooked the same. It seems that, it kills them to make fresh chicken wings on demand for paying customers. I just can't understand it. I want exactly what I Ask for what I pay for!!!! Why is that so hard for you to understand? Do yall make the chicken at opening of the store and won't make anymore throughout the day or something? What's really going on? Either way idc I ask for fresh give me fresh food!. If they can't take pride in their chicken and rice as a place of business called Rice Kitchen, I'm afraid to try anything else. A big reason is because the appearance is not good. It's so dirty when you walk in. It seriously makes me consider if the Health inspectors are really doing their jobs. I'm seriously considering calling them they need a pop up. I hate that their isn't too many good places to choose from around here in this area but even if you are desperate this place isn't it. If you've eaten here let them know how it truly we'v went for other potential customer, leave your review maybe they will change when they realize they have to give us quality clean food or they can't have our money. Your customers deserve fresh chicken fresh food At our request and without our request. Tell me, how could you be so careless with the people food? we trust you with food we have to ingest into our bodies and pay you our good money. These places act like your asking for free food when you request your food be made fresh. The energy be like they hate you for asking SMH. I hope yall read this at Rice Kitchen I haven't seen you resolve respond to any Google reviews because your lack of concern for what your customers request, the cleanliness of the areas we can see. I can only imagine how filthy the back is where you make our food, and your lack of integrity running your business, you do not deserve our hard earned money and everyone who hears this don't spend your money here. We might n need to make an example out of them. They need to understand it's a million other places that we can choose from. How do you stand out???? If you don't have quality, clean food we don't want it! This isn't too much to ask!

Despite it being the Lunar New Year, delivery was quick and the food came pipping hot. It was packaged perfectly, with no spills or leaks and ensured the best quality. The food warmed up perfectly the next day, as well. The dumplings were packed with flavors and cooked to perfection. The orange chicken and beef were delectable, with the perfect amount of sweet and salty and the broccoli was absolutely divine. Another favorite of mine! I'd definitely order from them again.

I LOVE Chinese food on Christmas so I was excited to try it...while also hoping it wasn't crazy busy. Since everything else in the shopping center was closed, the parking was great! This was during lunch time that I came. I ended up ordering both the small sized Chicken Lo Mein for $5.95 (always my go to dish) and a Sushi Roll combo with both a California Roll & Shrimp Avocado Roll ($7.95)! I placed my order in person and it was ready in I'd say about 15 minutes. I double checked my bag and everything was there so off to the house I went. I thought the sushi was pretty good, just kind of cramped in the package. Could tell it was fresh which was good. After enjoying that and using the ginger, on to the Chicken Lo Mein. The portion was good for the price, I wish there would have been a touch more chicken however. That being said, it was great! Flavor was on point and I loved the noodles. Had the all important savory notes with that slight sweetness coming through from the sauce. I would definitely come back to Kuki to try more of the menu options.
