Food was very bland. We got take out. Really really hot in the plastic, alarmingly so. Even 15 - 20 minutes after getting home and starting to eat, the plastic was still too hot to even put in the fridge. The cashew chicken was not good at all, in my opinion. The cashews were hard and out of place in this dish, and didn't seem like they fit at all. Very out of place. The vegetables used didn't taste fresh and had me wondering if they had just thrown canned vegetables into it. The tiny corn that was in the dish tasted like the inside of a can. The food was very good, so good that I thought it deserved better ratings so I yelped it last minute. We just moved to the area and I ordered Uber eats. Everything arrived correctly and still warm. The crab rations were good a little on the cream cheese side , but good. The orange chicken was so good I love spicy stuff so a hit in my opinion. The dumplings are good and the beef and broccoli as well all around everything we ordered was good and will order again from here. If you haven't tried it I def suggest it. Nothing I ordered resembled what I could remember anything looking like pork fried rice, and moo goo gai pan, the vegetables were so mushy it was like they were boiled. The food is overly cornstarched which makes the sauce kinda slimy. I've never seen Chinese fried rice made with brown onions? So that's a new one for me. They're actually sliced wayyy to large for fried rice I might add. The rice actually looks and tastes more like Mexican rice than Chinese fried rice. The chicken chow mein looks the way it's tastes bland and lifeless no color or flavor. I have never experienced such slow service at a restaurant before. However, one positive aspect is that the place is clean. When I entered, there was a young lady behind the counter who had her face buried in a book. However, she immediately noticed me and got up when I approached the counter. I wasn't very hungry, but I did have a couple of questions about the menu that you promptly answered. I decided to order chicken wings with roast pork, fried rice, and an egg roll. After I finished ordering, the young lady should have recommended the lunch special, which would have saved me a few dollars. Even though it's not about the money, if they have a special, it should have been mentioned. I paid for my order and sat down on a chair to wait for it. After about 15 minutes, I realized that I hadn't received my food. I got up and went back to the counter, and it seemed like they hadn't even put in my order. She offered me a free water, which I gladly accepted. My food came out about 10 minutes later, which should be the average time for what I ordered. I will say that the chicken wings were hot, but I didn't find them very tasty. In fact, I flat out didn't like them. The fried rice was so dry that I had to wash it down with water. I've never had such dry fried rice before at any other restaurant. The roast pork and onions helped keep my mouth moist. To sum up, the fried rice was horrible, and the egg roll had no meat in it. Wish we would have read the reviews before we picked up from here. For starters, the girl at the front desk has a really nasty ugly attitude. Basic business, 101, have the person at the front of your business be a decent human being, not a miserable angry troll. The food was not fresh, tasted very old and tasted like it was cooked with rancid oil. We each took a bite and threw the rest of it out. I doubt the raccoons would even eat this slop. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try the local Chinese take out place. It was surprisingly good, and this might become a regular thing. I ordered a small orange chicken, pint of wonton soup, and a small order of spare ribs for less than $15. The order was ready really quickly, which was awesome. And the food was good, which was even better! The wonton soup had a nice flavor and plenty of wontons, the orange chicken wasn't overly sweet of gloopy (just sweet and gloopy enough!), and the spare ribs were meaty and had decent char on them. And there were 5 of them in the order - pretty good value for the price. I wish there had been more than two sad little pieces of broccoli in my orange chicken, but that's about the extent of my complaint. :) read more

I placed a $75 order at China Wok at Rivergate plaza. The food was terrible. I got 2 fortune cookies for that order which was for 6 people. No extra sauce put in the bag. No free Rangoons like most restaurants give you for an order of that size. The fried Dumplings I ordered were steemed and were soggy. The broccoli in my order was limp and old. Then, when I went to pick it up, the were pushing for a tip. They have a child (about 9-10 years old) working the cash register there so someone should report them to child services. We ordered delivery honey garlic chicken and when it arrived at our house instead of being golden colored and sweet it was bright red and tasted like BBQ sauce. We tried it and it was absolutely horrible. I called to let them know that our order was not correct and was told that is how they make their honey garlic sauce.
