I had the chicken lol mein was just ok. There was very little meat in it. The flavor was ok but not sure I'd order again. It came with an egg roll which was over fried (see pic) Crab meat rangoons were good. We had ordered a half order and she charged and we got a full order Husband had chicken & mixed veggies and it was very good . This was by far even worse than than others in the area. Got 1 chicken szechuans. Threw most of it out. The large hot sour soup was terrible- never tasted hot sour like it. Went in the disposal. Sorry but the only thing good were the fortune cookies. read more

Not a great experience, visiting for the Fourth of July weekend everyone was in the mood for some Chinese food so I yelped and this place came up. From walk-in till the time she took my order I have to say I felt pretty uncomfortable she didn't Even acknowledge my arrival, apparently she was having some issues with her register when she finally looked up to say one more minute I greeted her with a smile and said thank you when she finally took my order I asked about how long roughly would the estimate be she said it would be about 15 minutes to be honest with you I've lost count waiting for the food because it seemed like it took forever. Ok, I gave this place a second chance, the first time the food wasn't good. This was the last chance they got. Food is extremely subpar for a Chinese restaurant. The lady at the register had no customer service skills and looked like she was miserable being there. I got there at 2:55 pm and ordered a lunch special which stops at 3 pm and she tried to tell me that I needed to order dinner. I asked her to look at the clock and she grudgingly accepted my lunch order. I also got a large wonton soup and I asked her to put scallions in the soup and she said they don't have any. Really? I never heard of a Chinese Restaurant not having scallions. The soup was awful! My lunch was also awful, I ended up just throwing it all away. I didn't ask for my money back like I should have cause I didn't want to make a scene. But word of mouth is more powerful than a refund. You've been warned! read more

This restaurant is now named No. 1 Chinese Food and is under new owners. My husband I just moved to Wildwood and this was our first visit. Our friends who went with us had been to this restaurant in the past under the old name. Everything we all had was simply delicious!!! I had sweet and sour chicken the pint size container with white rice. My husband had the Mongolian Beef with white rice. Our friend had sweet and sour pork dinner with pork fried rice and egg roll.She had Singapore fried noodles. We ordered the 8 crab Rangoon's for $5.95 and they were the best we have ever had. Ordered two sweet & sour chicken lunch combos, look like they took one and split it in half. The food wasn't the worst but I've definitely had better. If you're looking for good Chinese this is definitely not the place to go. Save your money and go else where. read more

We love their chicken fried rice, crab Rangoons, and egg drop soup. They are always fast and friendly but some of the employees speak very little English. This can be challenging placing an order but if you have questions, just ask for someone else that speaks better English. The younger employees, of course, are much easier to communicate with. I'm not sure why there aren't better reviews. We think they're great!! read more

I just stopped there today as I love Oriental Food. I got an order to go. As I'm writing I took one bite and tossed it in the garbage. When I arrived saw a gentleman smoking in front of the Business and looking at his phone. Little did I know when he walked in to prepare my food. It's got a different name #1 chinese food. I ordered moo shoo pork which was floating in grease, shrimp fried rice and while there was a lot of shrimp, the rice was bright yellow. I have never seen bright yellow fried rice. The chicken chow mein was a bowl of bland something - I tried to eat this $23 hot mess but couldn't handle the greasiness of everything. HATED IT! I have never had a bad meal at a Chinese takeout. Usually they are consistently good however China Wok in The Villages is by far the very worst tasting garbage I have ever tasted. My wife and I threw both our meals out after a bite or two. The chicken had a texture I have never experienced before, it was like slightly formed mush with no flavor at all. They were pretty good until about a year ago. I don't know what happened but I think they need one more cook. They are trying to get by with one guy, but absolutely the main reason the stir fry is Horrible is they are not heating the woks up enough so the food is being steamed which is causing all the sauces to break and your left with watery sauce after just 3 min.
