We are from Rhode Island and spent most of our life eating Fall River (Massachusetts) Chinese food. The fried rice is darker and the food just has deeper flavors. Once we moved to Fort Pierce, we were happy to find Chinatown. It remains take out only after Covid, too bad as we would like to eat-in sometimes. But the food remains delicious and consistent. Sherry always has the chicken chow mein combo with fried rice and an egg roll; I have a pork egg foo young combo with fried rice and hot & sour soup. The plates are always overflowing with rice and the entree. The hot and sour soup is good, if a little thin on ingredients, the broth is still tops. The egg rolls are large and crunch. Chinese take-out. I'm going to go with a solid 2 on the Yelp scale here. Chinatown needs to up its game if it wants to approach "middle of the road Chinese take-out". They have a comprehensive menu and a few Thai dishes as well. They do not take orders online, at least I did not see that option so I had to call. Ordering was straightforward and they got everything correct. Pick up is at a window where the door used to be- you slide your money in and they slide the food out. So, the food: the best way I can describe it is "Schrödinger's Chinese food": it is neither the best, nor the worst I have ever had. Primarily I would say it was a mostly tasteless version of Chinese take-out. I went with steamed dumplings, roast pork egg foo yung, Singapore noodles and chicken on a stick. Results were as follows: Steamed dumplings were good, but just needed more "taste", Chicken on a stick was dried out and chewy and again, needed something to make it more tasteful. Singapore noodles were nicely spiced, but pretty dry. Didn't leave a good mouth feel. Egg Foo Yung was well made and not too greasy, but suffered from the same lack of taste. Ordered the Sesame Chicken Combination for lunch. It comes with soup, egg roll and choice of rice or lo mein. Great size portion. There was a lot of sauce on the chicken for my preference. However, I was offered that if I paid cash, I would get 2 free egg rolls. Well they were spoiled. Let's not forget the pu pu platter I ordered, the rib was dry and old. The pu pu platter also came with 2 wings but they were 2 wingettes. The last time I checked a wing has 3 parts, the flat, the drumette , and the tip. Giving "1" star bec the last three times I ordered from them and they ruined my meal. I always order Mushu chicken with the wraps. they started to just put the wraps in a bag and by the time I get home it's all hard and dry completely garbage. I asked them to please wrap in plastic and they can't understand at first. they then mention about keeping the pancake soft and I said yes please. When I get home this time, it's the same exact thing they just left it in a bag. This time, they didn't even bother to include the mushu sauce. So why order the mushu when you cant eat the wrap and dont even have the sauce?! This is such a sloppy behavior where they literally don't give a crap about your food. I am writing off this place completely! On top of it all, it's 2025, they are still using the COVID door where they serve you through the stupid little trap doors like youre some kind of peasant when they have an entire dining room. They used to be good a few years ago. We ordered a few weeks ago they messed up our meals and forgot soups. They didn't want to make it right told us new meals would take 1 1/2 hours to be delivered. Service was great, especially for late on a holiday, but the food was lackluster. Our sesame chicken didn't look anything like any I've had before from other locations. I order veggie lo mein with all bok choy (never complaining if there ever was an upcharge) The past few times I've receive LETTUCE instead of bok choy. When I called to let them know the girl (who was extremely nasty to my husband on the phone when he ordered). Told me that they "got a different company to give them their bok choy and it was the soft kind, not the hard kind"........ LOL.... as if there was such a thing. We order from this establishment once or twice per month. It's pretty good but sometimes the food is over cooked. Case in point, last night we order our usual sweet and sour chicken with an order of pork fried rice with crab Rangoon. We also tried their beef pad Thai. Since most everything else is usually great we thought the Pad Thai would be a slam dunk. I've had Pad Thai more times than I can count so I'm pretty sure I can tell if it is decent or not. My hopes of yummy Pad Thai were dashed when this container of limp noodles with small pieces of beef showed up. I don't know what this was but it was definitely not Pad Thai!!! Food has always been good. Now, they are getting cheap. No longer anything but a tiny soup that comes with the dinner combo. They also just give you plain rice when you order any combo. Ok this is a mixed review. I find their food to be pretty decent but not worth the total rude treatment i got 4 out of 4 times ordering. I call in an order and the woman interupts me and says "you pay cash?" When i said no, debit card, her whole demeanor changed like maybe we'll cook food for you. So order gets placed, i wait 20 minutes and go to pick it up and now i have to wait on a big line of people placing orders as my food gets cold. I get to the window and they grab my debit card and then shove my bag and card through window. No saying Thank You or anything. As i mentioned, food is good but not worth their rudeness at all. Stopped in at lunchtime. Had a combination plate - house special chow mein with fried rice and egg roll, and a bowl of hot and sour soup. Everything was delicious. I just needed to use some duck sauce on the egg roll because it was a little dry (which is better than it being greasy). Service was quick, and the prices were very reasonable. read more

Ugh... just really, really bad. The chicken in their general chaos chicken is almost non-existent. what little chicken there is, is dark meat, or at least it looked dark, very dark. Normally the food is spot on good if you pick it up that is. I have been sick and ordered delivery. The person who answered The phone was nice and took my order promptly , I asked how long and how much .She said 45 minutes,ok no problem . Well 1.5 hrs later our food came and it was very cold , the soup had a layer of fat in top that was congealed and the broccoli chicken was a blob of jello like substance. Food was okay, very good portions for the price. The reason I gave 3 stars is because when I called it was VERY unprofessional and rude. I have a Chinatown II by my house and they always give me extra rice, but here they told me I had to buy a small if I wanted extra rice. She didn't give me the choice to pay with card and just told me 30 minutes and hung up. When the delivery driver came I couldn't give him much of a tip because I didn't have that much cash on me. I won't order from here again unless I'm starving and nothing else is open. read more

My family came in town recently and we ate in - they had nothing but good things to say about the food as well. My only complaint is the price. It's not the typical fast food Chinese restaurant that is pretty common in FL. You get a a lot of food for the price.Service is friendly, should you decide to dine in. Good amount of seating considering it's in a strip mall. I had Orange Chicken which was way too breaded and tough. You know food that needs to be eaten immediately because once it's cooled down it's almost inedible? Yep, bringing some home was never an option. The lo mein was almost 'soupy' and not authentic (think homemade pasta vs Spaghetti-o's) It's average at best for where it is, but that isn't saying much.
