03/06/2026 Friday 3pm. We were on the turnpike and didn't want to hit up that service plaza. Boy were we happy we did! Emily was bartending and I'm assuming the only one for the entire place. We had our dog with us so we sat outside. Plenty of shade and clean. Emily was attentive especially for us being so out of the way. She was running the whole place! Draft beer was cold and crispy, mixed drink was well poured, dog approved of the water bowl. We took a chance on the burger wrap. Heavy but Oooh sooo good and not greasy or falling apart. Def homemade salsa SLAPPED! We also split the Ceaser wrap. It was very good and came with xtra Ceaser on the side. Perfect for us because I like light sauce and hubby likes extra. The French Onion Soup, was so salty, it was inedible and tasted like a salt shaker feel in. We ordered the Roast Beef dinner, which said it came with Salad and 1 side. The waitress said it would be an up charge for the Salad, as per the new menu, which they were waiting for, we said to her the current menu stated it comes with a salad, she finally had a manager come over and he argued the same point, finally we said ok. Came here on a Wednesday when they had musical bingo and it was fantastic! The food tasted incredible and the mozzarellas sticks are nothing like i've ever had before! They're a must try! Came here for Father's Day and wanted to try gator as it has been a long time since I have had it only to find out they didn't have any. Very disappointing! However the waitress was very apologetic and we still agreed to stay. My husband had the smaller portioned fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed his dinner my son and I had smash burgers with marmalade onion and it was terrific! The restaurant was shy of customers which took us by surprise. The TVs around the bar would make any sport enthusiast very happy. We had a terrible experience at Tail-Gators. We had friends in town so I made a reservation for 6 of us for 6.30 to play trivia there. We arrived at 6:30 and they sad that they had our reservation and they were clearing our table. The hostess kept coming back to us saying she was working in it. There was a table for 6 open but they said that was reserved for a standard ongoing reservation. They asked if we would split up and sit at different bar tops. The whole idea was to go play trivia together. When we talked to the manager her explanation was that they were busy and didn't have a table for us. When we asked why have a reservation if they weren't reserving a table for us but they could for the other party she kept saying they were busy. No I'm sorry, we screwed up, how can we make it right. Just we are busy. Terrible customer service. There are plenty of restaurants in Port St Lucie and Tail Gators customer service is awful. We will never set a foot in Tail Gators again. We ended up going to Millers Ale House where the food and service was wonderful. Do yourself a favor and skip Tail Gators. read more

Ambiance is that of a sports bar which is cool. Lots of TVs and can get any game you want. Service was on point. Friendly and attentive. We tried wings extra crispy with their signature sauce called Gator Bite. Incredible! We are new to the area and decided to check this place out when we saw they were having dueling pianos. We reserved a table well in advance which was nice as we found our seats up front. The service was good, and staff was very attentive. I ordered a filet and I've never seen a filet served the way this place did it. We ordered the fried pickles? It's been a while since we came here so I'm gonna assume those are fried pickles since those are my go too. It was over cooked, very chewy, and unseasoned and the bacon was way over cooked as well. I also ordered the curly fries and cheese sauce, which was good. The avocado and all other veggies on the sandwich was very fresh, which was awesome! My husband ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was the same, over cooked chicken. It's a solid three. The atmosphere is a pleasant frat boy hangout, with no frills and no bullshit. I went on Trivia Night, so it was pretty crowded and the waitstaff looks pretty run ragged. The crowd was very mellow and calm, though. Even though I really wanted wings and fries and onion petals (their version of onion rings), or the delicious looking Fat Boy fries (buffalo chicken strips and fries smothered in cheese and ranch sauce), I went for the slightly healthier mahi sandwich and a side of coleslaw. The mahi was ok - I ordered it teriyaki style. Nothing was a standout. The tomatoes were kinda bland, the bun was kinda bland, the fish was ok, and the teriyaki was nothing to write home about. The coleslaw, on the other hand, was pretty good. The slaw was crunchy with lots of flavor and wasn't overly creamy (I personally dig a light slaw). I wish it was a little less "juicy" or maybe that they strained it before slapping it on my plate, as my bun was basically covered in coleslaw drool before I even took my first bite.
