In the photos that I saw online, I didn't realize that the chairs were just covers that had all the beautiful colors but either way it's a lot for the eyes to take in. We arrived on a Friday evening close to 5 o'clock and we were the only ones there until we were just about to leave. I do believe that they have more orders that are picked up by DoorDash and delivery services. I was excited to try the stuffed grape leaves and my plan was to get the hummus with pita bread and add lamb to it for my entrée. Unfortunately, they were out of the stuffed grape leaves, and when I tried to order the hummus, they were also out of the hummus. That was unfortunate, but I went ahead and ordered the chicken Shawarma roll which came with french fries. We both liked our food, which was fresh and flavorful. The fries on my platter don't look appetizing, but they came out hot in seasoned just right! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes and place of the stuffed grape leaves that we wanted as an appetizer. They came out hot and fresh and was very delicious. Both of our meals, including one soda for my son was only like $36 which is excellent in today's economy! We both also took some of our food home so the portions are good. Overall a good experience. I'd definitely try it again. It's not one of my top choices with all that Birmingham has to offer but definitely worth coming back to.

Some things to be aware of, she is extremely kind, but her facility is kind of bright and loud with many friends talking. You will be her number one priority once she gets to you, but if noise, waiting, and bright lights make you uncomfortable be prepared. She is an expert but it would help to know what the experience is like before going. 1. You sign in (call for an appointment) 2. She asks what is wrong 3. She assess your major organs through your ear canal using a tool that makes noise 4. She confirms areas of discomfort 5. If you get the combo, the massage comes first, you have to take of your top off so be prepared, then the cupping then the acupuncture. 6. You lay on a table and the whole process takes about an hour. 7. You have to come back multiple times to fix any pain issues, not a quick fix. 8. It costs $80 for the combo $60 something just for acupuncture. 9. It doesn't hurt but it does if move around and tense your muscles.

I wasn't sure what treatment she would recommend for the numbness in my hand and foot but she did a treatment of acupuncture and cupping. The treatment was 1.5 hours and it cost 75.00. I would recommend this over deep tissue massage if you are in pain. Some of the cups were a little painful but I found myself very relaxed after a while and I caught myself falling asleep on the table. My wife who has RA has also been to see her and she also believes that this therapy works well.

I had a head on collision in September 2021. My right knee was injured. I saw an orthopedic doctor…read moreand after x-rays and an MRI he said surgery was needed to repair my knee. The surgery made it worse. My knee swelled up to twice the size of my left knee and left me in more pain than I had before the operation. After several months I went back to the ortho doctor and he gave me three options: live with the pain, get a cortisone shot every couple months or have a knee replacement. I didn't like any of the three. I was researching knee replacement and ran across a website for stem cell therapy. I made an appointment and long story short, took the treatments and it helped for a while then the pain was back. I decided to get a knee replacement. My wife had a bad car wreck in 1998. She has had several surgeries on her back and neck. The result has been chronic pain and neuropathy for years. It was so bad she couldn't hardly walk. Every year she felt like she was dying a little more. She started losing feeling in her feet and limbs, stayed swelled up all the time. She has been on pain meds for 15 years and they have slowly increased because the pain level has increased with age. She got a tip from a friend to try Dr. Kwan, after the first treatment feeling started coming back in her feet. She has gone once a week for several weeks and it's amazing the changes I have seen in her, she can walk without being in pain. So back to my knee replacement. Mary told me please try Dr, Kwan first.
