I'm finally putting my Jeep back together and after taking my seats and cushions out of storage, I'm still blown away by the quality of work that was put into them. I had very specific requests for Roberto. I wanted to use the same type of fabric that was used originally, I wanted to reuse the other soft goods from the old seats, such as the pouches, fake leather trim, and buttons, and I wanted the seats to look like it came straight out of factory. The only thing I contributed was sourcing the fabric because it was hard to find; no one in the area carried it. Roberto truly knocked it out of the park. I have no hesitation to go to him again for another project. Thank you!

This place is absolutely fantastic. I had always wanted to get all my seats replaced with vinyl material. Originally, I just had my car seats covered with car seat covers that i bought from Amazon, but they began to rip after a couple of years. So, I dropped my car off and explained what I'd like to have done, and they said they can definitely do it. I got it back within a week and... my car seats look FANTASTIC. They did an excellent job, and I highly recommend this place to anyone! Take a look at the pictures to see what it looked like before and after. I love this place!

Sad to report that I had a terrible experience here despite the wonderful reviews below. Seems like a nice guy, I just got the short end of the stick. Summary: He took a month to finish two door panels for $450. The end product left my newly painted door panels scratched and a yellow glue resin showing through the carpet on one panel (pictures attached). The communication was terrible said he would be done ___ day and it wasn't. I was lucky to have someone answer the phone after 3 times. As a result, I had to drive multiple times to the shop just to hear my panels were not ready. Details: I dropped off my door panels at the end of March to get my door panels re-upholstered. He called me back April 8th saying they were ready. I went to pick them up and he used carpet made for the floors to line the bottom of the panels because he said they matched my floors better; they looked awful. Despite matching the color, I would expect a man of his expertise to know that would look God awful. I had him redo them and put the proper carpet liner on. He said it would be ready on April 12th, they weren't. Robert then said by the weekend they would be ready, they weren't. I drove in on April 16th, guess what, they weren't ready again. I ended up paying him the full amount thinking it would incentivize him, but it didn't. The doors were finally done on April 30th at low quality. Won't be back, will take chances going cheaper for half the price if I am going to get this quality.

I called approximately 8 places to get a quote on the section of my car seat that needed a repair and 2 out of the 8 locations answered. Roberto at Chino Auto Upholstery provided a reasonable price and was able to schedule an appointment ASAP. His team did an amazing job and they also provided a 3 year warranty! Robert is a true seamstress when it comes to auto upholstery! He's 4th-generation upholstery professional that specializes in auto! We called several places and they were in the ball park of ($300-1000/per seat). I sent him the photos for evaluation and he recommended, I only needed to do the bottom since the top was in good condition. The job was estimated one day. He contact us as soon as he saw an additional rips and advised us the updated price and that the job would take another day. Upon arrival, he showed us the job and the photos doesn't do any justice! Not only did he do what he promised, he went above and beyond and replaced the sides of the bottom seat. They do accept credit cards but he prefers cash. I highly recommend this place because you're supporting a long lineage of family that specializes in upholstery and they're a small business.

From start to finish, the owner of Chino Auto Upholstery, demonstrated outstanding professionalism and delivered exceptional results. I asked him to replace the exterior layers of both the front and back seats with new black leather material. During the consultation, he said will work on the front seats and only half of the back seats because the other half was okay. However, to my surprise and delight, he went above and beyond by replacing the entire back seat at no additional cost. The attention to detail and craftsmanship displayed in his work is incredible. His level of dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction and willingness to go the extra mile truly impressed me. The seats now look as if they were just installed from the factory.

Roberto did excellent job my car seats.?when I was first looking to have my seats done I went to several different places to get estimates he was very competitive with all three but he was the only one that said that because I have very big dogs and they do a lot of damage on my seat that it would not be recommended to use leather that it would not last as long and recommended synthetic leather instead which was less expensive than all leather. I love my seats!!

Seat covers replaced in one day! Glad to have found this place.

Last Monday, I brought my 2005 Toyota Tundra to Chino Auto Upholstery to address some wear and tear accumulated over 20 years. The owner reupholstered the driver's seat bottom and armrest, and also redyed the steering wheel and both front seats. When I picked up my truck the next day, I was genuinely impressed--the stitching matched the passenger side perfectly, giving it a factory-fresh look. The shop owner was friendly and true to their word about delivering factory-quality results. I'm very satisfied with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. While I plan to have the rear seats redyed in the future, I'll wait since my large dog frequently rides in the back. For anyone in the area looking to refresh or repair their vehicle's interior, I highly recommend Chino Auto Upholstery. I also dropped off the center armrest from my wife's 2017 Honda CRV because the original pleather was worn out. We had it reupholstered in genuine leather, and now it looks just like it came from the factory. read more

They did a repair to the headliner on my 2006 BMW 325i, which is attached to the sunroof. The sunroof mechanism was damaged, and the sunroof was not properly reinstalled after the headliner fabric was repaired. The owner Robert tried to fix it, but had to order a part. After a month of waiting, I called to find out about the part and he had not ordered it. Another month and he finally got it. He put the new parts in but damaged the sunroof even more and made it unusable, plus it would not close all the way anymore. Finally had to take the car to a collision repair shop to have the sunroof repaired and adjusted properly to get it to close and seal correctly. Robert is nice, but he work done at this shop is basic and lacks quality. After going back and forth 4 times, I finally had to find a real professional to fix the issue, on top of the $550 paid to this business. read more

Chino Auto Upholstery holds up to its 5 star reviews in all aspects. Roberto worked on the seating of our two cars. They are older models that we want to extend driving a few more years and the leather upholstery was shot. Roberto replaced a couple of the seats and worked on some segments of where the leather was torn through, We had Roberto go with the synthetic leather which is fine for us, it was matched perfect to the existing leather, and a great savings for us. He repaired an additional armrest for us to match out the front work which was really nice of him. We are saving towards a new car and won't be embarrassed with the interiors. Took some auto seats in to have upholstered, got them back in non operational condition and missing parts. I took them back and the owner fixed the problems but would not replace the missing parts and jerked me around. Promised he had ordered them but could not find them and repeatedly promised to call me back but never did, 3 different times. I finally realized he was lying to me so I had to order the missing parts. All his upholstery was not done to original specifications. read more

Really good professional service and craftsmanship. Needed the center box between the driver and passenger seats to be repaired, as there was a small tear. It was $100 to have it done, but it comes with 3 year warranty if there are any problems with it. The staff are great. Prior to going with Chino Car Upholstery, I also contacted USA Car Upholstery in Pomona, and they quoted me $140 for the same job done. I'm really happy and glad that I went with this company. Keep up the superb work! read more

These guys do great work! We had the driver seat done by them (but I don't have a before pic of that- but just imagine a bunch of rips and dirty stains), and today we had the middle console leather replaced. It looks brand new! So happy with the work! read more

Robert did an awesome job restoring the driver's seat and center armrest console in our Chevy suburban. The interior of the car was in good shape except for these two areas. Robert went above and beyond to add additional foam in the seat to restore the structure of the seat in addition to restoring the surface perfectly to match the other seats. I highly recommend Chino Auto Upholstery, the craftsmanship was superb and the price was extremely reasonable. read more

I have taken my truck there several times to get the drivers seat fixed. The first time they did it the seat was fine for about a year. I took it back in a paid them again to fix the same problem - I went on a trip shortly after and the seat needed to be fixed again. I took it to another shop and when they took the seat cover off the padding was torn up and there were stacks of old carpet in the bottom of the seat to support the seat. I was told by the original people that did the re upholstery, that I paid the big dollars for, that they bought heavy duty foam to put under there. They lied. Do not go there!!! read more

Roberto did an amazing job fixing the padding on my driver seat in my Infiniti Suv. Due to not having the cream leather, I was able to find it online and replaced the seat back in the driver side due to a tear. Reconditioned all the leather. Turn around was 24 hours and now my back doesn't hurt when I drive my car. Interior look show room condition, just like when I bought the suv many years ago. read more

I rarely give reviews at all due to being very busy. The reasons I'm taking the time to post this 5star review is I truly want to support Robert and his business. I was very impressed from my first call to getting my work done, it could not have been more professional and the work quality absolutely excellent. To be blunt, the price seamed to hood to be true, but the other reviews had very high praise of this company and of Robert himself. I concur!!!! I got the $35.00 month option and wash my car a good 6 or 7 times a month. Comes out to about $5.00 a wash with vacuum. They got everything you need. Super quick easy wash, strong vacuums, and they even provide towels to do a final dry with after you get out of the wash. They also have all the things for purchase like airfreshners and wipes for your dash and Armor All. Is it going to wash your car perfect and flawless? Of course not. But it's solid enough and beats the hell out of the self-service washes where you got 10 minutes to wash your car with the brush, rinse, soap, dry, wax, etc and sweating your ass off trying to finish because you ran out of quarters and don't want soap on your car. And then have to pay two extra bucks to vacuum your car. This place is definitely the way to go. Highly recommend the monthly car wash membership. Worst case if you feel your car needs a second run through because it wasn't washed well enough they'll usually let you run it through again. But I really like it here and it keeps my Dodge Charger clean. For as often as I clean my car, the monthly membership is great for me. And the kids that work here are always super helpful, friendly and courteous.

Robert did an outstanding job! I brought him a custom fabricated seat pan for my 1974 Honda motorycle and he gave me one awesome seat in return. Everything I asked for and specified was done. Although it seemed like a simple job it was actually difficult to do. Robert did it and did it well. I am very pleased with the work and the customer service. Not only did they deliver on time for a great price, their work was top notch. I took my 2005 Chevy 2500 truck to get a new headliner and seat re-upholstere. I needed to get my front leather seats restored on my 1996 Accord. I took my car to Roberto at Chino Auto Upholstery and within a couple of days my seats looked like they were done at the dealer. He did and EXCELLENT job. He was able to match the color exactly as the original from the factory. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent.
