At first Blake Montgomery Realtor contacted me in order to sale his services to allure me into his charade !..talked and bragged a lot claiming he was super "Aggressive" in regards his selling strategies , high communication and negotiating skills, rushed to engage me to sign his agreement as soon as the next early morning ,shaking hands by proposing fresh new pictures along with all the extra miscellaneous features adorning his new blah blah strategies acting as a snake oil peddler !...then shortly after he tried to pull the cheap trick of using the old dated pics of the former agent for free, just to save some money by not honoring any of the agreements we had previously talked about , upon my disgust and complain he stopped any phone calls and texting ,being unresponsive when I had questions or needed further communication ,just texting lame excuses about his unresponsiveness ,subsequently as expected he turned out to be a complete failure with an attitude ,neither accomplishing anything nor delivering results during this six months ordeal ; never took the precautions to set up correctly the lock-box impeding access to prospect buyers, so I have to be babysitting around to grant them access to ; with a MLS listing full of discrepancies and typos that seemed to be written by a fifth grader, on other note : quite distracted upon scheduling showings with potential buyers by mis-coordinating appointments at different hours from what was previously arranged the day before, creating a massive overwhelming mess with buyers, talentless ,no skills at negotiating ,however he was excellent at arguing ,creating excuses ,being defensive & not being accountable for his short comings .Terrible experience locked in 6 months agreement of nothing but a waste of time for a house rightfully priced for sale .So laughable at his challenged cognitive capabilities along with the Audacity to tell me that he will Not renew the contract ,as I was gonna ask him to renew it all over again after that nightmare ,sadly at that moment I realized he is not the sharpest pencil in the box. I was buying and selling my home thru them and it was the biggest MISTAKE of my life. I was given wrong information, was made to pay for things that I did not need too, and when it came to bidding on a house was made to pay more then I wanted too I tried to back out and was threatened to get sued. She never gave me information on square footage of house was smaller then I wanted she would not work for me so I got a new realtor in same office whom was ruder then the first. I asked that the homeowner fix the repairs from the inspection upon my final walk thru none was done so I called it out and she got furious would no longer speak to me and said upon signing I would do it alone and keys would be in the mailbox?! On a day that should of been very exciting for me turned into a disaster and was treated very badly. Do not use this company it's truly a nightmare! read more

After I finally received my deposit from C&C, there were over $700 of charges that came out of my $950 deposit. Over half of the charges were problems that were leftover from the previous tenant that Chinowth & Cohen never fixed. Everything from stuff that was left in the house that was never hauled away, holes in the wall that were never plugged, dirty exterior lights that were never cleaned, and even MOLD! When I moved in, there was a whole wall that was mold infested and I had to wait a month just to move in. When confronting Property Management about all of the absurd charges, they said that the house wasn't left to their "standard." They charged me for things they didn't fix from the last tenant, so obviously their standard changes from tenant to tenant and they just take advantage of you if they feel like it. I even paid a professional to mow and weed-eat my lawn. I paid them $50 to do so. Chinowth & Cohen charged me another $150 for lawn care when it was already mowed and maintained upon move-out. The contract states that they will do everything at the cheapest rate possible when fixing things that weren't done correctly after moving out. This is obviously another lie and falsehood in their contract and whole business model. They charged me absurd rates for things that didn't even need to be done or that were left their when I moved in. The company is filled with snakes and people that don't care about you or listen to what you have to say. They only care about making money and stepping on people to get ahead. I will never do business with them ever again and I hope you don't either. read more

2 stars so far. Its been 26 days since our lease ended with Chinowth & Cohen. The home was left in the same shape as when we moved in. The carpet was professionally cleaned 2 days before our lease was up & an inspection was done 30 days prior to moving out. Lawn was professionally maintained weekly & flower beds were cleaned and mulch 1 week before kease was up. We have not received any correspondence since asking in writing for our deposit to be returned to our new address. Not to mention, chinowth & cohen told us that closing on a house in 30 days or less is impossible & that we should sign the lease extension. We went with another realtor & closed in under 27 days. Horrible advice and no deposit returned as of yet. read more
