I wouldn't recommend Christy to a single prospective homebuyer after my experience with her…read more Christy was not only extremely unprofessional; I was forced to fire her as my agent and reported her to management as a result of her behavior and lack of professionalism. Based on our correspondence (which I fortunately saved copies of), I had initially discovered a house that caught my interest on a popular real estate website (Hubzu) and consulted with Christy directly upon coming across the house. Not only did I inform her that I was interested in the property; I *immediately disclosed to her that this particular house was listed on Hubzu, as I had many questions that needed answered regarding this site. (My correspondence with Christy regarding Hubzu contains timestamps to corroborate these claims.) Christy directly responded to these text messages stating that she was not familiar with Hubzu, which I found to be strange as it is such a popular real estate website. (However, her response served as confirmation that she did, in fact, receive my texts in a timely manner, as she has since denied that I disclosed this information.) I asked questions regarding the actual listing, as well as the starting bid and knew that these were not factors I expected Christy to be in control of. I also fully realized that I was in control of the bidding price I set. I promptly sent Christy all corresponding screenshots associated with the listing, specifically so Christy could review the "fine print" and all other pertinent details to assist. Whereas she informed me of certain details ("ghost bidding" and other snippets of information) of which I had already been aware, I noticed there were CRUCIAL deadlines which Christy missed/overlooked within the fine print I had provided to her, which - had I not personally caught - would have resulted in me losing the house to another buyer. (I have copies of these conversations, as well.) After this, Christy ordered a survey on my behalf, although - even though I agreed a survey was needed - I explicitly expressed to her over the phone that I wanted to shop around for prices, which I did not have the opportunity to do, as she had taken it upon herself to order one before I could do so. She did not respect my request to allow me time to review pricing before she placed an order that was to come out of my own personal funds. As a result, I did not feel I should have had to pay for this survey, as I had not yet agreed to *any price and wasn't given the opportunity to compare pricing. As if this wasn't enough, soon after, Christy called me one day while I was at the hospital... I told her I couldn't get to her at the moment (but planned to respond in an hour, as I didn't have much longer before I left); instead of responding rationally, she became hostile since I couldn't provide an adequate response to her and told me to no longer text her (only email). (She has since stated that she wasn't aware I was at the hospital; however, when a client responds stating he/she can't respond at the moment, this should warrant a more appropriate, mature response from a real estate professional, *regardless of the reason for the (minor) delay of one hour.) Additionally, I should not have to disclose my personal health status/whereabouts to my realtor in order to elicit a mature, rational response. I immediately told Christy that she was relieved of her services and contacted her management to report her behavior. It was also determined by her management - (they agreed) - that I should not have to pay the survey fee considering the circumstances regarding our conversations. Christy took no responsibility for her actions. As a result of this entire experience, I left honest feedback regarding our transaction on her Facebook business profile, and she blocked my profile so she could maintain her ratings. (An agent can control/eliminate any/all negative reviews on Facebook by simply blocking your profile, allowing him/her to display only "5-star reviews" for the entirety of their career, although this is unethical and not beneficial in any way to prospective homebuyers.) As a result, I am sharing my experience with Christy here so it can be viewed by anyone considering working with Christy in the future. As a Veteran, I would never consider Christy's behavior as ethical or appropriate in any way (including blocking my profile on Facebook to eliminate my review, rather than addressing it professionally). Not respectable in the least.

My Mother passed away and left me her Condo on Pensacola Beach. I consider myself Real Estate…read moresavvy, but knew nothing of the Pensacola market, let alone the Beach. A college friend of mine recommended Conna and I could not have been more satisfied. Clearing out my Mother's belongings and life was an emotional experience for me. Conna was able to keep me on track while showing empathy for my loss and emotions. She pushed me to list it higher than I planned. Conna provided with me with sources and options to assist in readying the apartment for listing. She gave solid advice on where to make improvements and where not to waste my money. Despite her being the agency Broker with many listings and clients, she stayed personally involved with my listing and sale. Within a week, we had a contract. As is common in Condo sales, we had a couple of snags getting to closing. One on my end and a far more complicated one for the buyer's financing. Conna took the lead on both issues working directly with the Condo Association on my behalf and the underwriter on the buyer's behalf despite not being the "buyer's agent". Her experience, demeanor, and local knowledge shined through. The deal would have fallen through without her. Should you choose Conna as your agent, you are not just choosing her. You are getting a TEAM of professionals that are all and always available for any questions or issues you may have. Conna' direct Assistant Joseph is her Ace. I ask a lot of questions. I am a PITA. Never once did I have a question, issue, or need that within the same day of asking, Conna or Joseph did not have an answer and solution by the end of the business day. In fact, there were many times on Joseph's day off, he would get back to me. As you can tell from this review, I am a big fan. Sadly, my father passed away a year later and left me his Condo an hour away at Perdido Beach. If not, be very sure I was even MORE SATISFIED the second time around. Two thumbs up for two different property sales!!!
