While I'm still dealing with some minor swelling since it takes 3 months to fully see results (which they prepared me for), I can already see the shape taking form hehehe. I have been wearing my compression garments religiously and getting the drainage massages twice per week. Unfortunately, I am deeply unhappy with the results and the total lack of accountability regarding my concerns. My cheeks are noticeably uneven; one side remains significantly larger than the other. Now that over two years have passed since my procedure, I have developed deep irregularities (uneven and lumpy texture) across my cheeks and under my eyes. Instead of a smooth transition, the texture is uneven and looks unnatural. The lip lift left a very prominent and obvious scar underneath my nose. It is not the hidden or discreet result I was led to believe. Despite the facelift, I have an excessive amount of wrinkles around my neck, chin, and mouth area. As time goes on, the hollows and unevenness are becoming more pronounced rather than settling. The cost of these procedures was incredibly high. I feel that the premium prices patients pay are for his massive marketing and social media production, not for superior surgical skill. For the amount of money spent, one expects precision and personalized care, neither of which I received. When I met with Dr. Karam via Zoom four months post-op to express my dissatisfaction, he was dismissive. He refused to guarantee any revision work to correct these clear issues. It is now clear that this is a mass production practice where the focus is on bringing in new clients through polished social media photos rather than ensuring the long-term quality of the work. I decided to go for it, believing it would improve my confidence. On the day of surgery, I was told I'd be unconscious and wouldn't feel a thing. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Although they gave me anesthesia, I was definitely awake. I felt out of it but aware enough to feel the pain during the surgery. When I told Dr. Tigari I could feel it, his response was, "I thought you were stronger than this." I was horrified, but there was no turning back. I spent the entire surgery squeezing the nurse's hand for comfort (bless her for being so kind). To make matters worse, I could hear Dr. Tigari and the nurses casually chatting during the procedure, asking me questions like who my favorite singer was and why I didn't attend their concert. I was conscious enough to have a conversation while they were performing liposuction. The whole experience was traumatizing, and I would never go through it again. The recovery was extremely painful, but even after healing, I noticed lumps, indents, and no real improvement in the size of my thighs. Six months post-op, I reached out to Dr. Tigari about my concerns, and his response was that results were "never guaranteed" and that my thighs "looked fine." They did offer some follow-up services to address the lumps, which helped slightly, but my scars are still visible despite two separate scar-removal treatments. To make matters worse, I discovered that the Care Credit plan wasn't interest-free as promised. My boyfriend realized the interest rate had skyrocketed, and I would have been paying off this procedure for the rest of my life if he hadn't stepped in and paid the remaining $4,000. Thought, from the commercial it would be an easy process with little downtime....long story short they convinced me to do a mommy makeover. The day of surgery I stayed in a hotel over night near there as I had follow up the next day. My bed looked like a crime scene I bled out so much. Within a week, I had an infection so bad the doctor told me to put a Kotex with bleach in the incision, which was the worst pain ever. He then had me start going to his Culver Ciry office, since it was closer to me and it was dirty and gross. Thankfully it was just for follow up. In 2023, I noticed leaking from my belly button on occasion but so minimal I didn't think too much about it. It would happen in rare occasions. Now fast forward to 2025, my belly button started really leaking and it smelled horrible. Went to my doctors, had to go through ultrasounds, ct scans, blood work....nothing. My belly would swell on occasion as big as someone who was 7 mi the pregnant. Finally they had me just walk in while leaking and swabbed it. It was an infection. They recommended seeing a plastic surgeon since they deduced it may have been from my plastic surgery. I called Sono Bello in San Diego thinking they would be able to at least see me. They had no record of my surgery and wouldn't help me at all. I finally went to a plastic surgeon I was familiar with in Claremont. Here we are in 2026 and I just had surgery yesterday to remove infected sutures in my belly button. The infection had gotten so bad the hole in my belly button was the size of an eraser head. Sono Bello was nice as could be when taking my money but the fact they had no record of my surgery or refused to even try to help was appalling. Do NOT fall for the scam, you get what you pay for and investing in your body and health is worth more.
