I love Chipotle, but my experience at this restaurant has dented my taste for eating here. This site's chicken smelt, looked, tasted, and felt uncooked and chewy. The cilantro in the rice was SO overpowering. To top things off, my sister found a hair in her bowl. Although the food was questionable, the staff was nice. I'm not a fast food guy; however, circumstances sometimes dictate picking up something to fill the need. This particular store says it is a "training center" on the front door. If they are training on how to be tight with ingredients and to act without emotion, they do a phenomenal job. I've gotten food from this store a few times over the years and always think the spoons they use are either tiny or flat. How much do the ingredients really cost? How about a nice heaping spoon of rice (cheap), beans (cheap) and vegetables (cheap)? Make me feel like I came away with a generous bowl. I look at their end product and see room for improvement. I also see a bunch of robots, who clearly don't enjoy serving customers. Lastly, the queso dip for chips was some of the worst I've had in recent memory. Tip #116 - Be better! read more

I got kid size portions when I'm 22 years old, I didn't get fat for noting. the new worker thought I was a toddler and gave me a single serving of what I asked for. didn't even give me a cover for my food. asked for a big cup of queso have me a small cup. didn't even say thank you of your welcome. definitely would not recommend to come here again! read more

I just watched a documentary on how they stand for food made fresh every day which by the letter of what they do is probably true. But don't order anything from them at the end of the day because you'll get something that looks like a dogs breakfast (that even the dog won't eat). Sign on the door when I got there that they were out of cheese and guac. It's a Mexican restaurant in a Saturday night and they are out of two major components. As I'm waiting in line I see how absolutely FILTHY this place is. It never used to be like this. Dried up food all around the metal pans that hold the ingredients; many dirty pans stacked up and food pieces all over the metal table in back; the floor is absolutely COVERED in food. Please don't tell me you were understaffed because there were plenty of employees but they just didn't want to do anything. They were too busy talking and scrolling in their phone. I order my bowls without cheese and order chips. They are out of chips and I have to wait. This is ridiculous. Now my food will be cold when I get home and I just spent $30 for it! The young lady that took my order was nice and had to call back twice for a queso refill and for the chips that someone was supposed to be making. I got a quick "sorry about that" but nothing to make it right or make me want to come back again. Got back home with my food and it was horrible. The chips were fresh but no one bothered to season them. I won't be back and I have been a regular visitor to this store since it opened. The chipotle chain is probably one of my favorites. The white rice is the best, I've tried to Replicate the flavor multiple times but to success on my end, if you go there just get a side of it because it's just that good. The steak quesadilla is pretty good also. read more

I love Mexican food I prefer to go to a real Mexican restaurant but I'm going to compare this to Qdoba because they fall in pretty much the exact category. I've tried the chicken bowl from both Chipotle and Qdoba and chipotle is the worst again no flavor, almost no meat, if I wanted to be a vegetarian I wouldn't have ordered chicken. I placed a mobile order 20min in advance, when I arrived at my pick up time, my order wasn't even made yet. I waited an additional 11min before I finally got my order even though the app had informed me that my order was ready. I could've placed a new order at the counter and got my food before my mobile order was even made. The staff served about 10 walk in customers before even making my order that was already past the pick up time. I'm disappointed I left them a tip with my mobile order for poor service. I used to go to this chipotle once a week minimum, the steak was juicy and delicious. However I have to take off stars because of my latest experiences, the steak has been far too overdone. Chewy and hard, burnt on some pieces, the rice was hard, just lacking quality and at the price point is completely unacceptable. My last meal from there, my burrito was laughably tiny(picture below) was most likely half of a normal burrito, I was devastated. At the premium price point, the quality of each ingredient should be perfect. read more

Good quality food, super fast, and every single employee is super nice. Came at the end of a really bad Friday night dinner rush and they were unbelievably busy. Huge line, yet we got up to order very quick. They weren't low on anything. Every employee was working hard and was extremely pleasant. I've never had that many people genuinely wish me a good night/weekend. Place is clean and run well by super friendly people. read more

Nothing about the actual food is bad, in fact, I love the vegan meat's flavors and the salsas and such. My biggest issue with Chipotle is its cost. I hate paying extra for guac, especially when I don't pick a meat for my dish. $9 for a taco bowl that has guac or queso is just too much for its value. There aren't even that many toppings to choose from after rice and beans. Overall, Chipotle has great flavors, as always, but each time I visit I am reminded of their unnecessary additional costs. They should take after Qdoba and add a few cents to each entree but just offer everything they have as a free topping. Who really doesn't get guac, anyway? read more

This is my favorite Chipotle. The people are great, cleaner then any Chipotle I have been to, and the food tastes like Chipotle. I wish it cost less, but some times you pay more for the food you enjoy. If I wanted cheap food that tastes ok and the works are dead to the world there are 6-8 restaurants nearby that meet this. This is a restaurant I usually have awesome experiences with! However tonight was a huge disappointment my steak was flavorless, super chewy and reminded me of cardboard. My whole bowl was super cold, and the only cold ingredients I had on it were lettuce and salsa. The food must've of been sitting out for a long time before I came in because other times my food has been great with that order! Disappointed tonight with my food; and hesitant on coming back in considering that I do not want to waste $8 on something like this again. Wish I would've got a refund. read more

Chipotle knows how to do mexican food! They use fresh ingredients and your able to customize. The portions are large, but afterwords you don't feel lethargic. A "traditional mexican" restaurant in Appleton has food that tends to be very oily and tastes reheated. This chipotle's acoustics are not the greatest alot of echoing, but other than that the staff is lovely, and I've never had a negative experience. You know its a good experience when they have lemon for your water! read more
