I barely got the words I'm gluten free out and the staff was already changing their gloves they went above and beyond used clean utensils and got my topping from the fresh containers to ensure no contamination. Just ate at Cheap-otle in bowling green, oh. Thought the bill looked a bit high and checked receipt to see that they charged us for 'double steak'. Be careful if you notice you are only getting a small serving of steak,etc... if you ask for a little more they will charge you 'double" and don't always tell you. Just check the bill before paying. We talked to cashier and he said we had "two full servings", didn't bother to actually look at the amount... which is pure b.s.. Agree with other reviewers -- this is the slowest Chipotle ever. Only about 6 customers in front of us and we waited 15 minutes to order!

The food is usually alright, unless you order tacos. My wife orders them every time we come here, and they have messed up the order every single time, no exaggeration. I'd almost argue that you're better off driving all the way to Perrysburg just to get the right order. If you absolutely insist on getting food from here, do yourself a favor and check it first, or you'll either be driving/walking back to have them fix your order, or crying yourself to sleep. read more

If I could give this location a 0 star rating I would. I have gone to school here for four years and each year hoping to see an improvement in the quality of this chipotle. There has been no change in the horrible products of this "restaurant". The food is poorly made and sloppily put together every single time I order from them. Tonight my boyfriend and I got a burrito, a kids cheese quesadilla with a side of rice, a drink, and chips and queso. Almost none of the order was in the bag when it arrived. There was no burrito, it came as a small bowl with barely any rice and half the ingredients missing. The kids quesadilla had no side of rice and it was stuck to the foil with barely any cheese on the inside. We also did not even receive the queso or the drink. Our bill was almost $40 and we maybe got $10 worth of what we ordered. This is a horrible place that won't get better and should just close so somewhere with decent food can move in. read more

Do not go here, the service was horrible! It was around 4pm in the afternoon. They were slow and had a line and yet they were making food for the employees that were on break or just got off before the customers. It was obvious the workers could care less about the customers. My family and I went in there one night and it was all college students working and this one lady put no steak on my sons burrito and she also put all pf the ingredients for the kids make your own on the tacos and not in the side bowls, it was very disappointing because when we got home to eat, my daughters tacos were all soggy. read more

I did a mobile order about 20 minutes before the selected (and available) pick up time. When I arrived there were probably 15 other people, also waiting for mobile orders (one man having said he had waited over an hour at that point). Meanwhile about 30-40 people walking in and getting in line were in and out before ANY of the mobile orders were completed. It literally would've been faster for me to get in line and order that way instead. I waited over 40 minutes past the pick up time FOR ONE FREAKING BURRITO BOWL. About halfway through I asked if they'd lost my order and all I was met with was an attitude filled "we're working on it." I'm not normally one to write negative reviews but this was absolutely ridiculous. There weren't any attempts to make it right which was even more frustrating. When you screw up that much with multiple customers, there should be some sort of effort to rectify the mistake. Just disappointing. read more

Came in 42 other hungry college kids and we probably intimidated much of the staff there with our numbers. I can say it's cool that I've been to a few campus Chipotle's (one at Michigan State, one at Western Michigan, and one around BGSU). Nothing extra ordinary but this location does serve alcohol at an unusually-high price if you are interested. I ordered a chicken burrito with pinto beans, cilantro lime rice, mild salsa, sour cream, cheese, and the other works besides a 2 dollar charge for guac. Really filling for the price and it's a few steps above Taco Bell or Del Taco if you don't feel like dining in an actual Mexican restaurant. read more

CHIPOTLE IS USUALLY AMAZING. But in this case, sadly, it was not. When we first walked in, we had a good vibe from this establishment. We were ready for some quality Mexican dinner. When we first ordered, everything was going well. THEN EVERYTHING TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORST! Our bill was WAYYY overpriced, we paid 40 dollars! Crazy! Then, when we went to fill up our drinks, the syrup in the soda was gone. So it was nasty watered down bubbly crap. Unsatisfying. We went to look for a trash can and there was none in sight. It took us a few minutes of looking to finally find ONE hidden in the corner of the store. Next, when we went to sit down, EVERYTHING was dirty. There was not one clean table and we had to clean one two seater off ourselves. One star because the food was amazing as always, but everything else was HORRIBLE. Will not be returning!!! read more

Unfortunately, nothing has changed at the BG Chipotle except that the employees continue to be rude and uncleanly. I don't know why I go back, I must be a masochist, but like a drone I was there again. Line was not too long, but employees seemed to be too busy with their cooking tasks to be bothered with waiting on the customers. I felt like I was interrupting their day and they weren't happy. We eat at this location probably 3-4 times a month. Sometimes everything is amazing and other times the rice is undercooked or over cooked and the steak is fatty. I always get the guacamole and that varies too. Probably on who makes it. Needs to be better consistency of product. There is almost always a long line of students since it is right by BGSU. Be prepared to wait. I like that they are getting away from GMOs and trying to simplify ingredients. This beats a fast food burger any day. As long as the prices don't continue to creep up, this will remain as one of our regular places. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE. DRIVE 15 MINUTES NORTH TO PERRYSBURG INSTEAD. Would award negative stars if possible. This is the only Chipotle I've had issues with consistently, for multiple years. It's the ONLY location in Bowling Green, and thus gets a large number of customers from nearby BGSU. The store has had at least two General Managers and has seen little to no improvement. They are always running out of something (chicken, cheese, tortillas, etc.) and do not do a great job at informing customers. No signs on the door for missing items, but occasionally the workers shout it out to anyone in line. How does this help new customers walking in the door after it's announced? The staff is incredibly unprofessional, taking their time to make the food and complaining about their jobs infront of customers. There re only a handful of staff members who somehow manage to keep this place afloat. The portions are inconsistent at best, and always way smaller than you would expect. Lines will almost always be to the door, and expect to spend at least half an hour in line. An hour in line is not out of the question (this is not an exaggeration.) Several people have complained to the staff and Chipotle corporate for years and nothing has been done. Do everything you can to not support this Chipotle. Maybe their district/regional management will eventually fire everyone and start from scratch. Until then, go to Perrysburg and support their Chipotle. Zero issues, short wait (even during lunch rushes!) and correct or larger than normal portions. read more

The Chipotle at BGSU is your standard Chipotle. It is located right off I-75 in Bowling Green. Directly across the street from it is student parking for BGSU and the Bowling Green football stadium. The workers are primarily college students. The interior is your typical modern Chipotle interior. I gotta say, I love Chipotle's food. It is delicious and satisfying. We stopped in here on the way to Cincinnati for a quick meal to eat on the road, and only one burrito was able to satisfy me (my stomach has been called the bottomless pit). It was a Chicken Fajita Burrito. The quality of their food is stunning, especially when you consider that it's a national chain. The burrito was mildly spicy, however, you can adjust that with your choice of salsa. Overall, if you are looking for something different than your standard fast food while driving on I-75 in NW Ohio, the Bowling Green Chipotle is the place to go. read more

I like chipotle and I like this one. It's a chain so it's like pretty much every other chipotle out there. The only thing I don't like is that since it's so close to BGSU campus it tends to get really busy in the evening, like lines out the door. But overall it's still good. This is the worst fucking Chipotle that I have ever been to. Not only do they run out of EVERYTHING right when you walk in the door, but their service is slow and awful. If you have a cashier, why don't they do their job and CASH PEOPLE OUT so the line can keep moving and people can enjoy their delicious burrito or taco before it's cold or turns to shit. I would rather go to the Chipotle at the North Pole and would get out of there quicker than I would going down the street at the Bowling Green Chipotle. I have never had a problem here! The line always moves fairly quickly, the staff are efficient. Once in a while I do get a fatty bit of steak, chicken, or barbacoa, but never to the extent that I would refuse to come here. I love Chipotle, and the BG location fills the need! read more

I must start this review by expressing my undying love for Chipotle. However, the BG Chipotle is an embarrassment at best. I am from the Columbus area and we have many top-notch Chipolte burrito factories that operate with precision, speed , and efficiency. The BG Chipolte does none of these things and doesn't do anything all that well. First, the employees (mostly college students) are lazy, rude, and inattentive. Never, have I seen a manager on duty (at least one I could identify). The line is usually backed up and moving at a snails pace. The food just doesn't taste "right" and is hardly ever fresh or if part of it is, like the meat, the rest of it is not. Lastly the layout makes no sense and isn't fit for a restaurant. I think that if executives from Chipotle were to see this store they would be pretty angry with the lazy/sloppy management of the place. My suggestion would be to hire some Mexican-Americans to work the line, it works in Columbus and would surely work up here. Lazy white college students just aren't cut out for this kind of thing. read more
