I order chicken tacos from chipotle every time I go. I have always gotten beans and hot salsa on the side since they make the tortillas soggy by the time I get home. Tonight I was told I have to pay to get the Ingredients on the side. I didn't get the beans, which sucked, but had to pay for the salsa on the side. $1.20, absolutely silly. I've been ordering my chipotle this way for literally years. When we got home we put the same exact order in on the app thinking maybe it's a new policy to charge. NOPE, the app does not charge you to get salsa or beans on the side of your tacos. The guy with longer dark hair and thick black glasses was rude about the whole thing. Is it common now for chipotle employees to just make up new policies on the spot? It was very clear there was no manager on duty as I expressed my displeasure with having to pay to get my salsa on the side. We are not trying to scam chipotle out of free food. I'm not a huge fan of chipotle because I am allergic to cilantro. So, generally that is a deal breaker for me. In fact, chipotle is the reason I realized I had this allergy because I got sick after eating here. Mind you, this is not an issue of the food quality, it's just that they have cilantro on basically every ingredient. The rice, pico de gallo, corn, salsa, etc. it's in all of it. Now that I have discovered this allergy, I rarely want to go back but my husband loves it. So, occasionally I have to tolerate the meal here. I have found that I am able to still put an order in that is suitable. You can get rice without cilantro, fajita veggies, beans, meat, sour cream, cheese and lettuce and still have a pretty good burrito . Problem is, as most reviewed have indicated this particular location is pretty slow. If you eat here, you might want to order ahead. read more

This location has recently been very frustrating with in store ordering. I don't eat there often, maybe two to three times a month but it seems every other time they are not taking in store orders. Everything is strictly online. I understand this is due to insufficient staffing, but it is also extremely frustrating when I find that I have to wait close to 40 minutes to get my food through online ordering. I don't understand why the people that travel to the store for the normal service, that should be provided, are the ones getting the bad end of this. Wouldn't it make more sense to stop online ordering for that night than to shut down the in store ordering? I would see this as less of an inconvenience to the ones placing orders rather than the ones who arrive without a clue of the situation. read more

I've always love Chipotle and will always continue to eat it. But I have to say, this specific location SUCKS! Their serving sizes are horrible. Taste quality is just not as flavorful as some of the other locations. The meat is usually dried out and the portions they give you are smaller as well. Very stale chips! Always have to ask for extra rice, lettuce or extra veggies. Have stopped going to this one because there are more locations. read more

Worst chipotle ever, with rude incompetent employees and management. Went inside, which I've done many times, ordered my bowl with the sour cream and fajitas on the side. I was then charged 1.20 for each one. Mind you I did not get EXTRA toppings on the side. They were on the side instead of in the bowl, which I've been doing for 10+ years and have never been charged. I was told by the manager that they charge because they run out of toppings by the end of the night. Umm??? I explained to him that regardless of whether the toppings are in the bowl or on the side, you'll still run out LOL. He didn't seem to want to fully comprehend what I was saying, so I wasn't going to argue with ridiculous stupidity. If you order online, you don't get charged. Which pretty much proves that they make up stuff as they go along. Pitiful. I did report it to corporate and received a coupon for free food, so whatever I guess. Awful time after time. I have not eaten at this location in 4 months due to how poorly prepared the food is on a consistent basis. I decided to give them another shot today and I was served a cold bowl of clumpy slop. I have written corporate several times and sent pictures to let them know just how bad the food is here. And much to my surprise you see the same managers year after year serving up bad food. Chipotle, I hope you are reading these comments and clean house at this location. The food is so bad it over shadows the poor service, and that's bad. By the way, when I was picking up my food today, there was a young man teaching a young lady how to tell time on the analog clock hanging on the wall. I love Chipotle. I eat at a variety of locations. I avoid this one. It is consistently the worst. I have had my credit card information stolen at this location. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. They refused to put Brown rice on my burrito because "Brown rice was still being made, and there is a line" (I waited in said line). We have spoken to management about the problems. It hasn't improved. I am so happy that the one in Fairfax is now open. I figured I'd try this one again because I was in the area. Big mistake, this entire review was composed in line and I still had 10 minutes left over. **update: they tried charging me for guac that I didn't order. Diet coke was out. Chipotle is definitely my favorite fast food. I could eat most everyday. But I would not consider this chipotle fast. It's the slowest chipotle I've ever been to. I would suggest ordering ahead at lunch time to avoid the service there if you must. I went the to get lunch and the line wasn't too long only a few people ahead of me. They ran out to guacamole. So there were 3 people standing around in the back waiting for the guac to be done while no one was tending the toppings. The line formed out the door as the food was gridlocked because people were standing around in the back watching. They shouldnt need 3 people in the back to watch guac being made during your lunch hour rush. I'll be avoiding this chipotle for now. read more

So why the low ratings.. well this store needs some serious help with maintaining the facilities.The bathroom was dirty.. the tables, floors, condiment station .. everything needed to be cleaned. Chipotle overall is a fairly good store! They have lots of choices for anyone. This Chipotle tends to be pretty stingy on how much they offer, though. This was probably the best experience I've had at a Chipotle. The guacamole was fresh, chips crispy. Staff was attentive and made my food without me feeling rushed. First time trying the vegetarian sofritos and will definitely order it again. The manager Tyler went above and beyond to make our dinner delicious especially seeing as it was 30 minutes before close. On my first visit to this location my bowl was made wrong and they offered to remake it. The employee told the manager what happened and he looked at me like I was a jerk and stormed off to the back. It made me feel very embarrassed and uncomfortable. I would have ate the mess up but the employee that made it wrong offered to fix it. The food was wonderful and my experience probably wasn't reflective of a typical visit, but I doubt I ever go back. I should have just got skyline next door. read more

Chipotle makes awesome food. The portions are larger than life. This is the only complaint I can think of for them. Chicken, steak, pork carnitas, and shredded beef barbacoa are wonderfully spiced, served in flour tortillas, soft or hard taco shells, or in bowls. The rice is perfect, spiced with salt and lime juice. Beans are either pinto beans, flavored with smoked pork or black beans which are vegetarian. Salsas include a mild tomato, medium roasted corn or tomatillo, The hot salsa really is hot, so please don't complain if it burns a little. Don't order hot if you don't want hot! Fresh made guacamole is also available. The sour cream is whipped by hand until it becomes smooth and creamy. The margaritas are the best I have tasted in Cincinnati! I don't quite understand many of the complaints I have read on this forum. Most importantly, if you have a complaint with the food or service, which I can't imagine, there is simply no reason to insult the appearance or heritage of a food-service worker who, after all, is just trying to fix you some food and make a living. I have enormous respect for Chipotle as a company. They are working to ensure sustainable business practices. The food is incredible at a fair price, and the atmosphere is fun. For the people making such nasty comments about workers appearance. Even if an employee is overweight, that is just the exterior appearance. Your ugly soul will be ugly unless you choose to quit being hateful. Can't we all get along and enjoy a great restaurant? read more

I love Chipotle's food, and so does my husband. However, the last 2 times I have done online ordering from this location, the order wasn't even started when I arrived. This time I even arrived 5 minutes late, and the order wasn't ready. This was a small order, 2 people, both times. To make matters worse, this time there was a hair in my bowl. Sometimes you are offered a drink when you have to wait - but that gets old. It would be better to get a discount on the food you actually ordered, or for the staff to make a better effort to getting the online orders on time in the first place. To top it all off, when I went to the Chipotle website to comment on my experience, I kept getting an error message when submitting it, asking me to try again at a later time. The worst Chipotle I have ever been to! I get a veggie bowl with rice, corn, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce every time I go to a chipotle. The servers left my bowl half full and when I asked for extra tomatoes they never did. When I returned home and took a bite, there was string, or thin rope in my rice! All chipotle's are NOT created equal. This place was a MESS. Not just like oh they hadn't cleaned the tables. It literally trash all over the floor,rice, lettuce, napkins. You name it. It was all over the floor. Finding a semi clean table was nearly impossible. I managed to make a clear spot to sit and ended up eating with someone else's left over lettuce. The place also had dishes stacked half way to the ceiling behind the counter not to mention the employees were too busy laughing and goofing off to realize how disgusting the cafe was. I opted for steak this time and upon inspection of the pico I have to concluded via the bubbles in the vat - it was unsafe to eat. The steak was HORRIBLE. Chewy, FULL of fat I mostly chewed and had to place most in a napkin - gross. I love chipotle but this one is not going to get my return visit !! read more

I feel as though this Chipoltle, overall, is the most consistent Chipoltle I go to (and I go to a lot of them). Generally speaking, the line moves quickly and they aren't out of certain items for long. The eating area is well kept and tables are cleaned regularly. I find the staff to be very friendly as well. This is unquestionably the slowest Chipotle in greater Cincinnati that I have frequented. Even during peak lunch and dinner times they for whatever reason refuse to use more than 2 line cooks and 1 cashier. Wait times often exceed 15, even 20 minutes if you make the mistake of going during a peak meal time. I went at 3 o'clock yesterday and there was a line of about 10 people. I was curious since I didn't expect there to be many people there at time, and I discovered that they ran out of chicken and had to cook more, and it would be done in about 5 minutes. So the 2 line cooks are just standing there waiting for chicken. The very first person orders a bowl with chicken and pinto beans. The line cook looks down, and oh no! Out of pinto beans. Of course. Why not make an effort to refill the container of pinto beans instead of standing there doing nothing while you wait on the chicken to finish cooking? Of course, this is nothing out of the ordinary for the fine employees at the Cherry Grove Chipotle on Beechmont. read more
