The owner Steve, was fantastic. Sold us on the garbage fries and man they did not disappoint. I'd highly recommend when available.

It was plenty for my husband and me to share. The soup is what drew me in. I love broccoli cheese soup. This soup is...unique. It's either going to be my favorite soup in the world or I'll never have it again. I haven't decided yet. The spice tastes like pickled jalapeños you'd get with stadium nachos. I'll revisit it since there was a ton of it. The sandwich was amazing. Great crispy bread that wasn't tough. It's hard to find one that does both. Meat was great and well seasoned. We got the tip dip (au jus) to dip it in and that was great. We will definitely be eating here again.

I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and unfortunately it tasted awful. The chicken salad itself wasn't good, with very large chunks of onion that completely overpowered the flavor. The shop also only offers one type of bread--white--which made the sandwich feel even more plain. Overall, the presentation looked sloppy and the taste was very disappointing. I always like to support local sandwich shops and spread a little love when I can, but this experience just didn't work for me. Sadly, I don't see myself coming back.

Yet pride is a poor guide, and so I ate. The moment the meat touched my lips, all doubt was struck down. What I feared would betray me instead reshaped my understanding of what this feast could be. I speak without embellishment--this sandwich changed me. I took it crowned with pickles and drenched in extra pizza sauce, and the harmony was undeniable. The bread is magnificent--soft, yielding, and resolute all at once. The sauce commands the bite. This house stands constantly filled, and for just cause. Still, I will not deceive the realm: this feast is not for all. I brought my wife, and she found no favor in the steak hoagie. Taste divides even the closest of bonds. I have since sought its equal across many lands. I have failed each time. None compare. The wings are serviceable, yet they are but attendants to the throne. The steak hoagie is the crown itself. They name this place Legendary. In this, they speak truth. I grant this feast 5 out of 5 Tankards. By my palate. -The Food Lord, House of Golden Tongue
