Check out this Argentina restaurant for the first time the food was amazing. I came for a restaurant week. Our server was so kind and greeted us at the door and sat us right away. We sat outside but they also have indoor seating. Really nice restaurant and the empanadas were amazing!

Been a while since I've been back here and was craving some light bites. Came here after a wine tasting on a Friday with a friend and we sat at the bar since we did not have reservations. I ordered the mushroom and feta empanada and the jerk chicken empanada along with some chorizo mac & cheese. I have to say the chorizo Mac was a bit heavy and extremely cheesy with barely any chorizo flavor. Luckily, I had some chimichurri left over from the empanadas and added it to the Mac to spice it up a bit And tone down some of the cheesiness. The empanadas were delicious as usual the mushroom and feta one was my favorite because the mushroom has so much flavor. The jerk chicken was a little bland inside, but with the chimichurri sauce is delicious, that's where all the flavor comes. Overall, the empanadas are always great And I enjoy coming here when I'm craving some Latin flair. We were at the bar so our service was pretty quick since the bartender was taking our drink and food orders. The food came out at a reasonable time. The place is a little tight with people moving around and just a one-way entry lane behind the bar in between the tables. However, it is nice that we were still able to get seated right away without a reservation or long wait so if you make a last-minute decision to pop in, you are likely to get seated. It was busy for a Friday, but the bar space can hold around eight or so. Definitely worth checking out Ché if you've never been.

So, if you want a fun, but chill environment, this is your place. I met a group of people here and we had the best service, food, and ambiance. I chose the salsa verde chicken empanadas for dinner. And the Oreo Nutella empanada for dessert. I also grabbed pics of someone else's empanadas and tots. :) Both of my items were fabulous!!!! I will for sure be back.

We were fortunate to try Che during restaurant week, so we got to try and slightly different menu. Amazing tacos and empanadas. Neighborhood dive bar vibes with gourmet food. We definitely recommend!

Service was okay - nothing stood out as bad or great. The food was good, but my chimichurri was basically all oil, which made a huge difference. The empanadas were good, but I think for the price and value I would prefer empanada box. I think the outdoor seating would be a fun vibe!

This empanada restaurant was so good. The short rib was the best. I also loved to grilled Caesar salad. Our waitress was very attentive with our party of 12.

Ché has such a warm, cozy feeling. Perhaps it's because it's on the smaller side or all the wood furnishings and bar, but it has that charming little European pub vibe and I love it! Service is attentive and friendly and the drinks are good. But if you go, make sure to go hungry because their empanadas are where it's at! They have about 10 flavors and then tons of accompanying sauces to choose as well. We liked the short rib the best and the Cuban is great as well.

Rolled in on a snowy Monday night for the $5 off Wine pour deal. I always get their 3 for 16 empanadas deal and a glass of red wine, Never skip on the De Carne empanada! Tried the spinach and cheese one and didn't like it. In the summer the outdoor patio is intimate and indoor is cozy during winter.

Here in a Saturday evening, it was rainy and the place was pretty dead. It's a small spot, made like an old shotgun home. Service was ok. He was attentive and suggestive, but very monotone lol. Probably bored. We ordered the meal for two, the guacamole appetizer, and three more empanadas. I love the potatoes, they are perfectly crispy! Steak needs more salt, but was ok. Wouldn't order again. The chorizo was nothing to write home about. Chicken cooked perfectly and was really good. I had never had heart of palm, so I was pleasantly surprised by the salad. It was nice and fresh. Guac was good and chips made well. Not thin also not too thick and hard like some other restaurants. The empanadas: brisket was the best and very good, the chicken verde was also good, in third place was the espinaca (cheesy spinach) which was very cheesy! The asada was just meh. The chimichurri was good, both green and red, but very oil heavy. We also got cocktails. I'd opt out next time as they were very hole in the wall bar basic and overpriced.

Husband and I love trying out new cuisine so took advantage of seeing this Argentinian place on a trip to Cincinnati. Looked up both the classic Argentinian foods are and we're happy to see that they had a lot of them on the menu. Vibe of the place was absolutely lovely. So aesthetic; Especially the seating in the back side with the wooden panel and the lights and all of that stuff. As for the food, this was really delicious. Fugazzeta - It was like a cheese stuffed flatbread pizza kind of a thing and just phenomenal. Literally oozing with cheese inside and outside and still had the perfect balance of cheese and bread. I love classic cheese pizza with some chili flakes and this is perfect with the chili flakes on top. Quite a big potions size as well so we ended up taking most of it to go and reheating it the next day but no issues because those were great as well. Really good variety of empanada options and it was hard to pick. Pick ended up getting the Short Rib and Salsa Verde Chicken (since I was trying to be a little healthy and get a leaner meat that wasn't fried). That short rib empanada was unbelievable! Crispy flaky crust and very delicious meat on the inside. The chicken one was just subpar so I wouldn't recommend it. Also got the Chioripan - This is another traditional dish which is basically like a hot dog. Kind of a bun with a local sausage and some chimichurri and other good stuff inside. I know that the sausage can be quite high in fat, but overall this was a really, really delicious sandwich! I ended up removing most of the chimichurri but it was phenomenal just the same. Hearts of Palm Salad was PHENOMENAL!!

Came here for the empanadas, left very satisfied!! The chimichuri sauce hit the spot.

Had dinner with great friends at Che this weekend; our server, the drinks, and our empanadas were amazing! The four of us split a salad and ordered the 12 empanadas (plus one for free!). WOW! Best empanadas ever! The vibe at Che is both chill and homey - but elevated. I highly recommend!

I went to Che on a Saturday early evening at 5:15. We had reservations. We were going before a 7:30 show. One reason we went is because they advertise happy hour seven days a week on their website and Facebook page. When we sat down and asked for drinks, we were told they no longer have HH on the weekend. I have gone to Che one other time and loved it. This time was a disappointment. The empanadas were fried. Along with the tater tots and the cheesy flatbread, which came late with our meal instead of as an appetizer, and the fried red potatoes, it was just too greasy overall. I thought Argentinian empanadas were baked. I contacted the restaurant through their contact form and was responded to by Jane P. She said the happy hour was only Monday through Thursday and they would take that information down off their Facebook page. They currently have a new FB post up giving the correct hours, but the old posts (for example from June 1) advertising a seven day a week happy hour are still up on their Facebook page and is advertised on their website (see screenshot from today). Others may not care, butI think this a issue because many of us who visit are expecting what is advertised on the website. In our case, we couldn't leave and go to another place because we had a later show... it's been two weeks since I contacted her and they have not corrected their media. Likely won't be back again-I prefer baked empanadas-but I'll never forget the first time!

Hell, we're still sussing out the Colombian vs. Venezuelan arepa rivalry. But the arepa pabellon at Arrechissimo (this apparently means "awesome" in Venezuelan Spanish) wins the prize for us so far, and it's not even close. Even if it initially seems expensive at $13.50, it is a near-miraculous little food item, regardless of one's knowledge about arepas generally. It's perfect in its simplicity and greater than the sum of its parts: Wonderful white-corn flatbread style rolls with a great balance of fluffy and crisp, flavorful shredded beef, fried plantains, black beans, and melted mild cheese. Add the spicy cilantro salsa, which is just about perfect in its own right. By the way, despite its compact size, the arepa pabellon is plenty filling. Arrechissimo is just a food stand with maybe four outdoor tables. The setting in quiet Deer Park is pleasant and comfortable enough, when the weather is reasonably nice. All tables have the cutest box-light centerpieces, all with fresh flowers, that added to the ambiance. Our server, Kayla, was smiley and fun! She explained all we needed to know about the nightly specials. She knew the menu well. There were also lovely food runners and other staff that kept our night going smoothly. This is what we had for dinner and our thoughts: Mussels - The PEI mussels were so plump and cooked perfectly. We sopped up all the broth we could with the charred bread pieces. I wanted to pick up the bowl and drink the rest. We order mussels at most places that offer them, and these were the best we have had in Cincinnati. Croquetas - These were interesting. The flavors were good, but we thought the consistency was a little pasty. It was like all the ingredients were blended up together in a, well, paste. Pasta Duo - We chose the Wild Mushroom in vodka sauce, and the Gnocchi Bolognese. We thought the vodka sauce overwhelmed the mushroom in the ravioli and that maybe a lighter sauce would complement the mushroom filling better. However, the sauce was excellent. The gnocchi were pillowy and tasty with the sauce, but there was not much beef in the bolognese. Although these weren't the favorites of the night, they were still very good. Skirt Steak with Chimichurri - OMG! I don't usually order steak out, but serving skirt is rare and it is one of my favorite cuts. It was so tender with a fabulous grill flavor and the most delicious chimichurri. Except for about four bites my wife enjoyed, I ate the whole 10oz steak!! It is pricy, but I would gladly spend the money for this excellent preparation again. The potatoes were roasted and seasoned well, but I wish there were more than five pieces of asparagus for the price. Chocolate Caramel Tiramisu - Very light and chocolatey. Yum! We will be back over and over for the mussels and skirt steak.
