I stopped by this location while traveling through the area. It was conveniently close to the interstate. I have never seen a Chipotle that was dirty like this. There was food splashed and spattered on the glass in front of the serving line. Not just one area but the entire length of the serving line. From what I could see of the kitchen it was very messy as well, with food, trash, and dirt on the floor. I had ordered a veggie burrito bowl but they were out of several ingredients. I had ordered queso and chips, I didn't get chips and was told "we are out of chips." It didn't matter anyway because the queso they gave me was thin and watery. I overheard a customer say, "Is THAT sour cream??" but after I got into my car and opened my bowl I saw what he was talking about. My bowl was covered by a very thin, runny white substance that did not look like sour cream. I was afraid it was spoiled so I didn't eat my burrito bowl. I ate the guac off the top of the bowl but even it wasn't fresh. Chipotle needs to clean this place up before the health department closes it down. read more

It's an average night in Englewood, Ohio and I'm not feeling making dinner. I think to myself "Chipotle could work", but then I remember, I'm in Englewood, Ohio. If I were starving on the doorstep of the Chipotle in Englewood I would unfortunately not make it because there is only ever one employee on the line and it will be at least another week before I even make it into the building. Over the course of several years, I have tried this Chipotle again and again thinking that surely corporate has heard the complaints of this uniquely terrible Chipotle and sent in the A-team to whip the location into shape. Unfortunately, no. This Chipotle is a god-forsaken dumpster fire that has never improved over the course of several years. As I mentioned above, first and foremost, this location LITERALLY only has one person making all of the food. As this location is immediately off of I-70, it's usually pretty busy. You would think that this would spur management into ensuring there is a proper amount of staff in order to ferry through customers. Unfortunately, no. While there are several employees milling around aimlessly in the back, the new kid that was hired last week is solely responsible for the line that is wrapped around the dining room. No other Chipotle location is like this, I can't fathom why Englewood continues to operate this way. It would be one thing if, after waiting an entire lunar cycle to get to the front of the line, the food were excellent. Unfortunately, no. The food is usually dry, completely absent, or horribly cross-contaminated. You might be thinking to yourself "Brett, simply order online! Skip the wait!" Unfortunately, no. This location similarly has seemingly no competent staff members to make online orders in a reasonable time. The orders are also not sitting out, which I can understand. However, as there is only ever one person on the line and every other employee wears horse-blinders so that they cannot see the dining room, getting a hold of an employee takes a lunar cycle in its own right - and even then it turns out that the order you placed last week is still not ready. As a resident of Englewood and a general Chipotle fan, it is the greatest disappointment of my life that possibly the single worst Chipotle in existence just so happens to be the one I live closest to. I would sooner drive 15-30 minutes to a Chipotle that is farther away than expose myself to the abject torment that is waiting in line at the Englewood, Ohio Chipotle. Corporate, I am not above begging - PLEASE do something about this Chipotle. Send in the Avengers to save them or simply stop sending food shipments so that you can put the employees and the citizens of Englewood, Ohio out of their misery. Thank you for your time. read more

This place is an absolute disaster. I did a mobile order and set my pickup time at 6pm. I walked out of the building at 6:30. I waited 30 minutes for them to cook steak, however there were two other people with steak orders that came in after me and left before me. Every time I would ask how much longer, I'd get the same response "just a few more minutes." One customer ahead of me had been waiting 25 minutes, prior to me arriving at 6, and left about 6:20. They had to remake her food because it had sat so long and was cold. One employee kept sitting the mobile orders on a shelf behind the counter and wouldn't ask if it belonged to the 5 people waiting for mobile orders. I will not be returning to this location, and I suggest you skip this location too. read more

It's not often I say this but I would post negative stars if I could. All the areas I normally would review, service, ambiance, food quality and cleanliness were so bad I don't have words. Trash on the floor, literally every surface dirty and workers were just a mess. This is a leadership issue, you need to close this place down and start over with a strong manager. Clean, clean, clean, clean, clean. It should look clean. It should smell clean. No flying insects should be visible near the food whatsoever. Have a towel available that's sanitized and prepped at all times to keep the counter and food prep stations visibly clean. Fun fact, when the sanitation standards fall, so does everything else including the bottom line which is how everyone gets paid. I known it gets busy, especially with to-go orders and DoorDash every where. Keep a standard, hold everyone to it, fire everyone who doesn't get it. Also, if your scraping the bottom for the last of a protein, your not managing the situations and outcomes effectively. NO ONE wants the food their about to pay for to be the bottom of the pan. Have the Steak, Chicken etc "in process" at a certain point when the current pan is about half way. Seem like really nice people, but a new shift manager is needed. For the Dinner rush. read more

Giving this place one star feels way too generous. I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, it takes a particularly awful experience to motivate me to do so. Absolutely atrocious location and it appears everyone else has terrible experiences as well judging by the reviews. I used to go here as a local and had many bad experiences and finally gave up for other locations further away. I moved away 2 years ago and recently moved back to the area and thought I'd go here thinking maybe it would've improved in two years. No, it got worse. Put in a mobile order to pick up at 6pm. Was going to eat in with my family. Dining room was stinking filthy right off the bat, so already was turned off towards eating there. My family was waiting at a table that we cleaned ourselves while I go get the food. They tell me it's not ready yet, they're waiting on steak, despite it being a few mins past 6 already. This could be forgiven if it were ready in a few mins. But no, I proceed to wait a half an hour. The line is wrapped around the place to do the door. The cashier is constantly ringing people out and gives no effort whatsoever to check on the status of my order.. Despite the fact I'm standing right there in clear view. I have to keep asking him and seeing if it's ready or not. Which is hard to do as he's always with other customers. Finally after over half an hour of waiting I ask again and he goes to back and asks someone who directs him to a shelf where it's been. I don't know how long it had been already sitting there. Probably twice as long as it needed to since no one would check up on it. There's nothing offered to me for my absurdly long wait which in my opinion is basic customer service. At this point I'm sick of this place and never want to see it again so we leave with our order to eat at home. We get home and the food is cold, we live close so it didn't get cold on the drive. It probably sat on that shelf for half the time I was waiting. Apparently being an aggressive Karen is the only way to achieve results at this place. Not only was it cold, but neither of our entrees had guac on them which we paid extra for. Classic. And my wife's bowl wasn't as full as they normally are. Overall just an awful experience and I will never be returning to this location for the rest of my living days. The place didn't seem understaffed, there were quite a few people back there but apparently they're all inept. This place needs new management and probably a whole new team of employees period. Either that, or just do us all a favor and demolish it. If Chipotle customer service is listening I want a refund, I still have my order number/email. This just happened today. If you're a poor hapless soul out there wanting chipotle and you're reading this please do yourself a favor and never come here, you WILL regret it!!!! I recently tried the new Pollo Asado and I am not a fan. The chicken is overloaded with garlic and it ruins the rest of the flavors. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic, but this recipe just isn't it. Beyond this one menu item, the Englewood location has been obviously struggling for months now. Their line is constantly out the door. Even when placing an online order, you can no longer just grab your meal off of the to go rack. You have to fight with delivery drivers and get an employee's attention to get your food. And then, you're lucky if it's even ready. I actually had an experience a few months ago, where they weren't letting people order chips in the line. They were only allowing chip orders through the app. So I had to step out of line and make an online order. Quality isn't what it used to be. Friendly customer service isn't there. The employees are basically robots, just trying to get you through the line. It's not going great at Chipotle in Englewood. read more

This Chipotle was so dirty! Garbage was overflowing, tables were dirty, the station where they prepare the food was filthy. I was seriously thinking of just leaving. This restaurant consistently runs out of items and gets orders wrong. I received no vinaigrette which I specifically requested as one of my 3 quesadilla sides, and no fajita vegetables in anything despite being ordered on both my entree and my friends entree. Another filthy Chipotle. This location has separate food bars for delivery orders & walk through., problem with this location the manager doesn't delegate her employees very well. Store manager is extremely lazy and isn't prioritizing long standing lines 'backed up' as employees push delivery orders harder. Even though this location has a separate delivery preparation bar they constantly make standing lines wait while use dining room food ordering bar for delivery orders. Because of the failures in management food bar is extremely dirty with dried up food ingredients scattered across entire service counter. It's literally nasty and far worse than Centerville-Miamisburg location. Service area floor has chicken parts, steak and other ingredients layered and needs swept and mopping. I watched service prepare orders and they are trying to keep up with delivery orders and line orders only to make bigger messes and mistakes. Young lady throws food in containers and on wraps making it unappetizing. Another issue being out of ingredients and waiting hour for my order. I noted there's a big discrepancy with burrito size's between delivery orders and line orders - delivery burritos are much smaller and I think it's because they processing delivery orders to meet time instead of putting quality first. Chipotle has become thee most dirtiest and incompetent restaurant out all restaurants now serving for DoorDash, Uber Eats etc. yeah, but when they making money, public doesn't care anymore about America standards it'll get worse before getting better. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the WORST chipotle I have ever been to. Dirty line, trash overflowing, no forks or napkins stocked by the fountain drink area. The staff was awful. Absolutely rude anytime I asked a simple question, they had attitude. I had to ask the worker to put gloves on before making my food. The food itself was cold even though it was from the line. I think that's the worst chipotle location I ever visited. I went there because it's close to a Tesla supercharger. I had 30 minutes to eat while the car was charging. 30 minutes later: I was still in line. The level of bad service is speechless, astonishing. The line lacked one ingredient for one customer and blocked all other customers from moving in the line. The cashier is then doing nothing while the line is blocked and you can see people joking in the kitchen while waiting for ingredients to be done. Once the ingredient came back (the missing piece was rice, who could have anticipated that at chipotle?) the line got blocked again because they had to prepare online orders. More than 15 people were waiting in the line and some left during the wait. I like the chipotle food but if I wasn't super hungry after a 24 hours drive from Denver I would have left too. read more

I visited this location on several occasions during what I consider prime business hours only to find they had insufficient staffing to serve the volume of customers and were out of staple items like sour cream and queso. Yesterday at 11:45 am they had one person working the line taking preparing meals and then cashing customers out. They were out of fajitas, pico, and one of the meats. To top things off, there were no coins in the cash register so customers were required to pay with a credit card or not receive back your coin change. I went ahead and got my regular order but I ended up throwing it away because it did not taste the same without the unavailable ingredients. I would rate the young lady who served me with 5 stars because she handled things well, but restaurant management completely failed their customers and staff. read more

I love chipotle. My family has chipotle several times a month from this specific location and it's almost always a bad experience. The food is typically good (when they have all the options). Majority (not all) of the workers always seem to be in a bad mood. The wait is always long even if there's only 5 people in line. We refuse to do pickup orders from here any more because they are never ready in a timely manner and it's an absolute pain to pick up the order when they keep it behind the counter. Why not have the stuff ready on a shelf by the cash register like very other chipotle around?! Seems like every other chipotle I go to moves the line SO much faster. Listen, all Chipotles have great food. We all know this. There is a reason there is always a line at every chipotle. But this specific one has the worst customer service. It seems like every single person making the burritos and checking you out has an attitude. And none of them say,"what would you like?" As a local resident of Englewood and a Chipotle restaurant lover, I would say this is as bottom tier of a Chipotle as you can go to. After going there many times because of my burrito cravings, I have officially decided to stop going to this specific one permanently. The reasons being that the staffing is the worst of all time. They are insanely dysfunctional and so slow creating crazy long lines and just a I hate being here environment. They are almost certainly out of at least one item every time you go sometimes even two. You could hire a wild creature out of the jungle and it would run this Chipotle better than it is now. The quality of the burritos here are for sure not as good as other chipotles. If they do happen to have vegetables available to add they will most certainly have that black hard burnt crisps on them. The white rices will be over salted and the brown rice will have those rock hard brown pieces in them. Quite frankly every scenario in this place is a lose lose situation for the customer. The only reason I think this place is still open is because it's next to the highway and the rouge customers just don't know how bad it is. read more

He was young, African American and had on a mask that said "boss". He was the only reason why I didn't just leave and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars.. I have been to Chipotle a couple of times in Springfield and was beyond unimpressed. Today my sister in law, granddaughter and I decided to go. This had to be the best Mexican food I've had in several years! It was of course made as I requested but the food was delicious and chips weren't stale. If I could give this chipotle 0 stars, I would. This is the worst chipotle establishment I have EVER been to. The workers are sluggish, and never have a sense of urgency. It honestly comes off that they just don't care. The lines will be out the door and they are moving slower than sloths. I have waited in line 45+ minutes many times. They NEVER have all of their ingredients. Multiple ingredients are always out of stock so be mindful of that. The only reason I went to this chipotle on a regular basis is because I live in Englewood. I now drive all the way to vandalia if I ever have the taste for chipotle. I stopped going to Englewood chipotle altogether. The chipotle on national road in Vandalia is amazing and always has most ingredients. The amount of times Chipotle has had to refund me in the past year for orders from this location is ridiculous, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why the company has not removed any leadership that is supposedly in charge of this place. I just sat for over 20 minutes after a pickup order was supposed to be ready with no indication from the staff that they were even trying to work on it. The amount of missing items over the years is ridiculous, and it's annoying because the app won't let us close the Miller Lane location for delivery because they have always been above and beyond by comparison. They are also frequently missing common ingredients and we don't find out until we get our food. It's been so consistent that it's hard to believe the core issue is not with the management. We mentioned it to another branch and apparently this location has been notoriously bad for years, so it's certainly not a string of bad luck. And since the other branches are doing well, including the fact that this branch is consistently busy and pulling in money, there are only so many possible reasons for the consistent failure. Chipotle either has two options; fix it or keep comping my meals. The former is better for everyone. read more
