Chicken Cozumel is the top dish; Chicken En Mole is the bottom dish.

The food and service were excellent! We had just driven over 2,000 miles in four days and were tired. It was a great way to unwind and begin to relax!

My first time here and the service was good! It was small but clean and the ambiance was relaxing! The server Jenny was very attentive and came back to check in on us multiple times and that I loved! I ordered the Carne Asada fries and a side of the street corn. My family enjoyed their food as well. My son had the fish tacos, my grandchildren had the cheese quesadillas and fries, and my daughter had the Fiesta salmon with rice, peppers and onions! The portions are huge!! The Carne Asada fries were good and had some flavor! I was expecting a bit more flavor but overall they were good. Their salsa and chips were yummy and the guacamole was made to perfection! The corn was not what I expected as it was in a bowl and a lot of it lol! As a consumer of street corn, this version lacked the unique flavor that I am accustomed to but it was okay. My son also ordered the churros and said they were good! Overall I would visit again and try other items! Thanks Jenny for the great service!

Great Mexican restaurant, colorful and lively inside. Very friendly and attentive staff all around. The complimentary tortilla chips were warm and really good, crunchy obviously but not hard. And we each got a bowl of salsa which was nice, spicy and thick. We started with fresh made guacamole, chunky style. Avocado was perfect peak ripeness, dish was fragrant and full of flavor. Plenty for two and well worth the price. I had Arroz con Pollo, the seasoning was mild but a dash of salt was all it needed. Loved the tasty cheese sauce. The chicken was so tender. And their rice is fantastic- moist, with saffron and little bits of diced pepper. It was a very comforting dish, and there was plenty of it for a nice second meal next day. My husband had the whole tilapia which he loved and devoured down to the bones. It was very crispy. Our waiter Miguel was a star! This restaurant is a great option for a good meal at a reasonable price. We'll be back.

Side of Grilled Veggies

Great option for our family when traveling! We found familiar favorites and I was happy to see grilled vegetables as a side (not limited to only peppers and onions). Youngest daughter and I shared Arroz con Pollo. Husband and oldest daughter shared street tacos. It was plenty for all of us, and the grilled veggies could be shared by all. Definitely recommend!

Great food and atmosphere! The prices are a little bit higher than other Mexican restaurants in the area but I still enjoy going here.

Vallarta Mexican Seafood…read more All the vibes of a Mexican Pacific Coast restaurant. Finally persuaded my 100% Italian wife to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood, and she loves this place. Caveat: Vallarta Mexican Seafood is several rungs above the average Tex-Mex joint in the Greater Dayton Metropolitan Area. We really enjoy Sonora Grill Seafood Steak Bar & Grill, and Vallarta Mexican Seafood merits special attention as well. On our radar: La Poblanita Mexican Market and restaurant. A note on stars; Sonora Grille is on Burkhardt, and in a small strip mall; I am not inclined to award a strip mall restaurant 5 stars; however.... Vallarta Mexican Seafoodis also in a small strip mall with plenty of free parking. Folks inclined to visit and dine at The Greene might go west to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood. Travel Tip: do check menu Spanish definitions to avoid order errors. We can depend upon Yelp whilst researching: Here are 5 Star Reviews for Vallarta Mexican Seafood. Several of these reviews encouraged us to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood: ...but their food is SO GOOD!! Fresh, flavorful, not your typical Mexican restaurant. Visiting from Seattle and was looking for some good authentic Mexican cuisine. Found it here! Vallarta Mexican & Seafood... a MUST try for super fresh, delicious, LARGE portion seafood! Amazing service, fantastic portion sizes, and the food was awesome! will definitely be back! Throughout our 60 year relationship, my wife enjoys dessert as an appetizer, and today is no exception. The Churro's are delivered in a flash; we discovered this special treat nearly 50 years ago during an expedition to Spain and Portugal. The very best Churro's were prepared by roadside vendors, and our friends, Bill and Ellen Rose agreed. Neat ambience, and delightful service. Music is Boomer Music.... My wife insisted on MAR Y TIERRA - Mexican Surf and Turf. Grilled chicken, steak and shrimp served with rice, charro beans, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes - expect a togo box. My son elected QUESADILLA DE ASADA A flour tortilla filled with your choice of grilled meat, stuffed with cheese, grilled bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with rice. And I selected Steak PARRILADAsteak cooked with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. Served with rice, charro beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and flour tortillas - expect a togo box. Way too much Tilapia on the menu - we recommend to lose this fish and replace with REAL fish. My wife is Very Pleased, and she advises that we shall return

If you are vegan or have severe food allergies, THINK TWICE before coming because they may get your…read moreorder wrong no matter what you tell them. My parents come here often and I tried it for the first time tonight. Major issues. I asked if the soft serve margarita had dairy (I'm vegan) and if the beans had lard. The waitress didn't seem to understand what I asked, so she brought over another waitress. The other waitress simply said "I don't think so", I need a definite yes or no. She would not even go check or ask. I ordered the veggie fajitas. NO sour cream and NO cheese. It came with both. When I asked them to correct it, they brought out a different kind of beans containing meat (which was mixed into everything) and the fajitas even had a piece of chicken (which I can usually ignore but it genuinely felt personal). I'm not usually someone to complain. If you look at my other reviews, they are fairly positive. However this pissed me off. I would be fine if it was just a translation issue, I understand. However the number of things that occurred was unacceptable. And "I don't know" is not acceptable to someone with an actual allergy. That being said. I really did like the overall vibe in here and the robot came out and danced which was fun. But all of that did not make up for what occurred. I wish that it had been better.

Light crispy and so salty. Just delish. Then the guac was good and the chipotle salsa was nice, smoky, tasteful. Then for my main, I got the tostada. It's this double decker dish, which was also great. A bit hard to eat, but I enjoyed it. Also the side potatoes were also great. Flavor packed. I wish they a bit less rigid on menu requests, like I would've loved to have the enchilada without chicken. Cheese enchilada seems like a reasonable change. I had a bite of the desserts also and they were fine. The tres leches was kind of ok. Service was good. Place is nicely done also. I works definitely come back if in the area again.

The menu doesn't list any soft drinks anywhere, I asked the waiter if they serve Coke or Pepsi products, it's Coke. I wasn't informed/told/disclosed/declared/made public/carrier pigeon/announced/communicated in any way that each time I was asking for a "refill" that a glass full of ice with a little soda was being separately charged. At any restaurant that is charging by the beverage ordered for SOFT DRINKS they give you a can or a bottle, just some educational info for the owner/managers... For any patrons that can't see behind the magic curtains on how they fill the glass full of soda, it's by having the bar fill it. On to the food... I would come back for the food despite the attitude and atmosphere of people not happy to work there. I ordered the pork chop and it was great and I would order it again. The salsa was amazing with a very great smoky flavor. I ordered the pastel de elote for dessert and it was amazing. The food and atmosphere are worth coming back to. I'm sure the waiter who was ignoring my table and delaying service like paying for the meal or asking if "another soda" would be something wanted, while she was spending excessive time chatting to the staff and investing her time on the phone doesn't describe all waiters, or the manager who couldn't be bothered with helping a waiter to get me a glass of soda and simply ignore my request is an off night experience. Other than those good review canceling services or non-services it was "good".
