I thought this place was a great find in Huber Heights. Apparently, it has been there since 2017 but I have never noticed it even though it is right up the road from my in-laws' place. It is not their type of food so they would have never mentioned it. We found it recently when my wife and I were looking for a quick lunch option while on an errand. The building shape looks like it is a small hole-in-the-wall fast food place, and that's pretty much what it is. It makes sense when one considers that Victor's is designed to compete with TB. This place is clean and tidy, but quite small and relatively simple with seating for 30 - 40 people. It's more set up for take out than dine in, but you can certainly eat there if you'd like. This was apparently the fourth Dayton franchise. In the bigger picture, they have seven (7) in Ohio and four (4) in Tennessee. Hence, they are small enough to provide that friendly Mom-and-Pop quaintness without that stale corporate vibe. The menu here is a bit more extensive with homier touches compared to TB. They were relatively complete with their variety of Mexican fare and part of their offering is Mexican street food. We were there for lunch so we went a little bit to the light side with tacos. My wife had the shredded chicken tacos and I had the chorizo, egg and cheese tacos. I loved that they had the breakfast tacos as an option. The food was very good. The woman who waited on us was very pleasant and seemed quite interested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The prices were also quite fair as we got away with less than $10 per person with water to drink. My only small complaint was that their drinks were limited and the machine was constituted of Pepsi products, which do not suit us. We would have been happy to substitute iced tea but they did not offer it. The dining area, while relatively spartan, was certainly adequate to allow us a place to sit and eat our order. I thought this place was quite good and we would try it again for a quick meal when we're in the area. It's a tasty inexpensive option, particularly for lunch. It's very good for what it is and delivers commensurate with its purpose. read more

The meat is a bit seared, making it crispy and tougher to chew. Fresh veggies. Good sauce, with a kick. Hospitality: The cashier was friendly, and the food came out about 10 minutes after ordering. Huber Heights, Ohio is a particularly interesting place. Stuck between urban Dayton and rural Bethel, this town does not have a lot going for it other than some solid fast food joints and some alright chain restaurants, but there are some gems. Victors tacos is a Definetly one of those gems Some of the finest Mexican food one can find around here with fairly reasonable prices and a absolutely lovely staff. Every time I have had them the food has tasted fresh, some days more so than others, but that's more than can be said about run of the mill restaurants. I particularly recommend their street tacos and tacos in general (go figure a taco place would have good tacos) and a jaritos soda after a long day of work. The flavors shine and compliment each other and it's just a overall lovely experience I highly recommend for those both visiting, and living in, Huber Heights. Terrible service at Brandt Pike location. If you are hoping to save time by preordering for a quick pickup, don' t bother. Twice we have ordered an hour or more before pickup. They require payment on their website upon ordering. Neither time was the food ready, had to wait 15-20 mins for them to find and prepare our order. Second time they were also out of what we wanted so we had to settle for substitutes because they claim they can't process a refund on online orders. read more

Love their other location, so this place was a no brained when we were up in this part of town. We've visited twice now. Both times, we called our order in ahead of time. When we arrived, we still had a short wait. But our order came out just as requested. As always, the food was hot and delicious! My personal favorite are the Super Nachos with chorizo. Their chorizo has great flavor and isn't spicy at all. I like to get my nachos without beans and jalapeños. AND with an extra side of queso that I pour all over it. Lol. All variations seem to be carefully seasoned to be able to successfully build flavors by adding additional ingredients if desired but Items are usually yummy if one decides not to add ingredients. For take out orders , be mindful of large portions and added sauces on food selections such as " the Big O " which can leak out of the container if not carefully transported. Hot sauce cup can be crushed also. I suggest a separate bag condiments. Dinning on site for Summer of 2024 while be a hot one . Parking is limited during week days, adjacent parking could be used while neighboring businesses are closed for the wknd. Update: Been here about 5 times now. Go for (in my order) Adobada (anything) burrito, victor tacos etc., green chili burrito, rolled tacos, chimichanga, super nachos. I wasn't a big fan of the red chili burrito. ------- Definitely a mom and pop joint. It's a simple, small restaurant that can sit about 20 inside. Ordered the Super nacho, an assortment of Victor tacos (adobada, carnitas, fish and steak) and a bag of chips. The chips are thick and can stand up to any salsa. Speaking of salsa, they are all good. The extra Hot sauce is hot and wonderful! I was pleased with the super nachos. Plating could be better, oh well. The house chips made these nachos. Like I said earlier, they are thick. Thus by the time I got to the bottom of the plate they were NOT mush! I'm a fan of street fare and these did hold up. Not my favorite but they do rank high. The first time I tried from Chambersburg I thought maybe I just got a bad order but people kept saying no it's really good so I tried it again. I got something different. This is the second Victor's our family has visited, and this location was just as good - the food was amazing! I'll post photos. I had my favorite, a Carnitas Burrito, and it was perfect... pork and guaq in a warm flour tortilla. My son's nachos were loaded with chicken, definitely enough to make a full meal. Everyone else enjoyed their food, too. This location is tiny and not much on decor, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. First visit where I had a longer than normal wait and it was empty for TacoTuesday. 20 minute wait from time of orderingand time receiving, being the only people there isn't really acceptable when the people before us ordered when we did and were out in less than 10 minutes. And yes, I timed it because I was on a time limit myself. I ordered 2 ground beef tacos and 3 taquitos while hubby ordered 2 shredded beef tacos without tomatoes and beans. They combined our order and gave me ONE OF each of the tacos and him ONE of each of his preferred taco. The taquitos didn't taste right either. Very disappointed because I love Victor's. This is not a fancy place by any stretch- old building, kinda run down, and parking could be better. BUT- great no nonsense Mexican food. Shredded beef Burrito and taco was my choice and I didn't regret it. Really good food. The rice and retried beans were also good as were the salsas they had available. I was at Victor's Tacos for dinner when a employee started yelling and cussing at a delivery guy from doordash telling him. His order wasn't shit and he didn't matter when the delivery guys asked about his order the employee let the delivery guy know he could wait forever for his order and refused to give it to him... In my opinion the employee was very unprofessional and every threaten the delivery guy by telling hime he would report him and he wouldn't be allowed back.. I will not be returning to this Victor's Tacos location or any other for that matter anyone who treats a delivery person like that doesn't care about their customers read more

You may not think much of this place just driving by. You may not even realize you should consider grabbing an amazing breakfast burrito from here. But I am here to tell you should pay Victors a visit. I'm from Phoenix, Arizona and CRAVE the breakfast burritos from taco shops there. Going to Victors is like I just transported myself to a Phoenix taco shop. Hands down my favorite burrito is steak, potato, egg and cheese and just douse it in the green salsa. It was Sunday afternoon. I was in Dayton for the weekend visiting my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. They wanted to have a few of the Air Force people over to the house who work with my son-in-law in the ER. Two food runs were done today. We did the Victor's Taco one. My daughter has long told me how good the food was here. This was the second Victor's Taco we stopped at today. The first one seemed to be closed with no internet or phone service. This location was open for business so we parked and walked inside to order. We had to wear face masks as did the employee who greeted us. Hand sanitizer was available by the entrance. There isn't any dine in service here. The interior of the restaurant reminded us of a small 1970's dive type strip restaurant in Vegas. We ordered some super nachos without beans and hot peppers and the rolled taquitos with ground beef. When we entered the only other customer was leaving. While we waited several more customers came in to pick up their phone orders. The woman who took and gave us our order was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was so good and we were glad for the large side of queso requested by us to dip the taquitos into. The taquitos were long and crispy & filled with lightly seasoned ground beef. They are served with guacamole, lettuce and melted cheese. The #nachos had plenty of sour cream, melted cheese and seasoned ground beef that filled our mouth with flavor.
