They were hanging out of the drive-thru window with no one around like it's the porch steps. I pulled around & asked, "Hey are ya'll open? No one is really here!" About 3-4 of them stood looking at me so dumbfounded & just stared. This girl with long nails, tattoos, & butterfly eyelashes w/ gems says "Now why would we even be closed at this time of day?" Mind you it was 730pm or in that timeframe. Most places have short hours on a Sunday. It was light outside, but bcos I don't go to that location I asked. A young man spoke up and said, "We close at 12" I turned down my car music & said, "Oh ok duh. Thanks I'll come around" Once I got to the window for pickup then the light skin young man told me my total for a 12 piece wing-only combo was $30+ That's not right bcos on the screen it said $16.04 to confirm. I was like, "Umm that's impossible and doesn't make sense. I'm not paying for that. Can you snow me a receipt?" I had a very straight face. He told me, "I'm just playing it's $16, but I gotta do something to pass the time" In response I said to him, "Ohhh bcos that was going to piss me off charging extra for no reason. I wouldn't take the order. Ya'll playing on my top!" He took my card, but the wrong receipt was given for a leg piece of chicken $6. From the same girl with those lashes. I wonder if they did that so I won't know names, date, and time or who rang me up or worked. I handed it back to the eyelashes girl. She came back to the window then told me they didn't have Louisiana Garlic flavor so I chose the Chipotle. My order was complete and I came home. Not gonna lie! They were so gh3tto and immature acting that I inspected my food for tampering. The Lemon Honey smelled weird like cleaning products with a twang. I was possibly paranoid and prayed they didn't put like Windex or mop water in my food. I ate two of the Chipotle wings in the car & made sure not to share w/ my toddler. I'm never coming here again! There's a lack of proper training & clearly no one is around to manage the teens well. No telling how they treat others or act not knowing what status any customer holds. I could be a restaurant owner myself or secret shopper! It's a shame to look nice outside with an unprofessional staff inside.

If you can't find the order, don't you think you want to make the customer aware and not keep them waiting more time? I pulled back up and a smaller guy (assistant mgr) came out and started in on me for being mean to his employees. I wasn't rude to them. He then proceeded to tell me that I must have sat in the parking lot and put the order in. He wouldn't let me explain anything so I interrupted him and said that I put it in 15 minutes before getting there and I'd been waiting on site 20 minutes. After berating me for another few minutes, he finally looked at my order on my phone and said he'd go get it made right now. When he came out 15 minutes later, he handed me my order and I specifically asked him if the sides were there and how many. He said the reason they couldn't find my order is that it was under the name of just Jeff. The last time I checked, Jeff was in the name I gave them twice. He was very smug while sipping on a drink and wished me a blessed day. I was stupid not to check the order. At home, I found out that instead of 16 piece tenders, I had 16 piece chicken. I ordered 2 dirty rice and 2 red beans and only had 2 rice and 1 red beans. I am appalled at how I was treated by this person. At the end of the day, he even got the order wrong. We opted for Bojangles as my bf is a NC native and I thought it'd be a nice taste of home for our brunch. Ordering via EZ Cater was easy enough and they even send confirmations noting that the order was accepted and confirmed twice by the restaurant. I decided to pick up the order while my bf went to a meeting and ventured out to this seemingly deserted area in Smyrna lol. When I arrived, I let the team know that I was there for a large catering order and displayed my receipt. Lamont G. was the kind employee that greeted me and once I showed him the receipt, he was so confused as to what the heck I was talking about lol. He called someone on the phone and they were also confused and let me know that they did not receive the order from EZ Cater despite seeing my receipt and that it showed their correct location info. Lucky me, this team was phenomenal. They didn't turn me away but instead, Lamont quickly assured me that he would make it right and get his team on it right away. He apologized profusely and I let him know that his wonderful energy and dedication to making it right was all I needed. I took a seat in the dining room as I waited and Lamont even offered me a drink and a snack to hold me over. Let me also say, this location was covered in the cutest Valentine's Day decor! From ceiling decor and wall clings, to inflatable dinosaurs covered in hearts - too cute. Within about 20min, my food was being packaged up fresh from the oven/stove. Lamont even threw in a half gallon of tea, an extra tray of grits that was accidentally prepared and enough condiments for me to open my own restaurant, lol. He was even kind enough to carry everything out to my car, ensuring that the hungry pregnant lady wasn't doing heavy lifting. I appreciated that so much! We were still charged for items we did not receive, and when we asked about alternatives, the employee did not seem interested in helping. We even had difficulty getting something as simple as sauce for our tenders and fries. I spent over $80, so I expect to receive what I paid for or if something is unavailable, I expect to be informed and given the opportunity to choose a substitute. To make matters worse, one of the containers was not properly closed, causing food to spill inside the bag. Overall, this experience made it clear that the staff needs additional training in customer service, communication, order accuracy, and professionalism.
