I've been ordering Willy's all summer for my campers to enjoy some delicious Mexicana eats. Every time I get them (I was over two different multi week camps), the kids and adults always raved about the deliciousness and I've always been grateful because it was affordable as well! The last week, I went into the store to complete an order since I couldn't add the tofu to my order online (had to feed a daughter and dad pescatarian) and I was met by a rude staff member who kept telling me to just do it online. However, one of the other employees, Marcus saved the day. He allowed me to put in an order to add to the online order and said he would personally take care of it for me. And just as he said, he remembered the order and made sure I had my right size tofu-- hot and on time! Thank you Marcus for your impeccable service. P.S. the tofu was so well seasoned and delicious that I had campers who tried it thinking it was a new style of chicken . I was stunned! I told her that this was my second time trying Willy's, but didn't know what to get, and she went through the menu with me and made my experience very special. I actually prefer Willie's over the other Tex mex chains this particular store has such a low rating because it's by my job and I'm in this one often enough to know it could show improvement. 1. The floors are constantly greasy. 2. Quality of food keeps declining. 3. Quality of service keeps declining. It's hard to figure out what you want to eat sometimes but how can you go wrong with a salad? I had the Southwest Adobe Chicken Salad. It was so good and very fresh. The lettuce was not brown, it was crisp. The grilled chicken was well seasoned and plentiful. The salad also includes black beans, pico de gallo, corn salsa, jack cheese, guacamole, and tortilla strips. I was surprised they included guacamole because chains usually charge to add it on to an entree. I have to say that they are not stingy with the Chipotle Ranch salad dressing and salsa. This review is for the Howlin' Willy's at the same location... I found Howlin Willy's when I was leaving East Point today and it was great. I believe it is an extension of Willy's Mexican Restaurant. Ordering process was simple because the menu was short and to the point. The food was great. The chicken was tender, the mac n cheese had nice flavor to it, and the coleslaw was tasty. I firmly believe that because the menu was limited, they are able to master the cooking and preparation of all their items. The location itself is ideal and it seems to be big with the local workforce (Delta employees, bank execs, students, etc). I highly recommend trying this place when you come to East Point. read more

They are open during the pandemic and follow all social distance guidelines. They are now open for dine in which is great. I come here whenever I want a yummy salad or burritto. He was very pleasant and inviting and really set the tone for the experience. Upon going through the order process everyone I encountered had amazing service as well. The location is very clean and trendy. Perfect place for a quick bite, friend date, truly any reason. There is ample seating as well as outdoor seating for those nice days The food was absolutely AMAZING. I ordered the veggie burrito and it was truly a great option. I work at the airport on the weekend and this location is probably about a 7 min drive away. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Last Friday I wanted some Willie's about 7pm and since they are also the closest location to my house, I was glad to see the have standard hours Monday - Friday. 10ish - 9pm I parked on the Virginia Ave side of the parking lot across from Waffle House, but once I got inside I saw there is also a parking lot on the back side of the restaurant. I got there right about 7 and it was a packed house. Most people were wearing Delta or FedEx uniforms, so I'm sure this place could have a healthy weekend business just feeding airport employees I went with a steak/chicken quesadilla and it was perfectly prepared and browned on the grill. The counter lady had no issue with giving me my requested toppings in the plastic to-go condiment cups instead of putting it directly on the quesadilla. Although the line was practically out the door, the staff was friendly and all smiles. Outside patio The only thing that prevented them from earning a 5 star review, when I arrived there was a young lady sweeping up the dining room floor. When I left, she was braiding a guys hair in the dining room. I'd saw him when I was in line putting meat on the grill, so he worked there also. When they saw me looking at them, he said, one of my braids came loose and she's just braiding it back down for me. Nice Tex-Mex type restaurant near the ATL airport. You order at the counter and take the food to-go or to your table. Drinks are self-serve too. Burritos are huge; not sure how you're supposed to attack them in a civilized, non-messy manner. About $10 for a dinner burrito or bowl and drink. Chips and salsa free with every order; chips were good but the salsas on their self-serve bar were nothing special. Good-sized seating area, but some sweeping and table cleaning was needed when I visited. Staff was friendly. Nice place for an inexpensive lunch or dinner. read more

First time in a while since coming back to this location. It's never been clean, but what I saw today (Saturday) beats all previous experiences and not in a good way. The place is a health hazard and should be shut down. Food and dirty napkins all over the kitchen floor. Tables sticky. The glass at the counter was so dirty it was hard to see the food. And all of this topped by the filthy salsa bar and drinks fountain. The trash cans were overflowing and again food leftovers everywhere. Probably the worst fried chicken I ever had. It was way overcooked and tasted like the oil was dirty and previous chicken had been overcooked in it. I work until 7 they were out because they stated they closed at 9 ok I get it but for lunch today at 11:30 and still no ground beef. This is close to where I work, so I try to come here once a week. Let me preface by saying that the quality of the food is always excellent and a great value for the price. The staff is very friendly, and super helpful and nice all the time. I have minor issues with this location only because of how things used to be. They have definitely become a lot more conservative with the tortilla chips that they give. Before they would happily give you a big bag of chips with your order, but within the last year the quantity had definitely decreased. Also, since technically the salsa bar is still free, when asking for a bigger container for the salsa, the staff is often hesitant. Even with my issues, this Willy's location is still tops with freshness of the ingredients, quality of the food, and bang for the buck. Just be prepared to ask for the bigger bag of chips. read more

I don't get willy's. Don't get me wrong, I got the concept...who doesn't like the Moe's like vibe, free chips and multiple salsa's station? What I don't get is people who love the flavor, because of all the burrito spots, I think Willy's has the least amount of flavor! Still, i'm not reviewing the place on what I already know (the flavor), having been to more than one Willy's location. Instead i'm reviewing it on the service I got, which was pretty good! Very quickly they took care of me, and didn't stutter at all when I requested a grilled chicken burrito bowl. There's a confusing sign over the veggies section that says corn salsa was extra, among other things, but I didn't notice an additional charge when I asked for the corn salsa. Lots of indoor space and outdoor tables make this an enjoyable spot to eat fresh food. read more

This is a rating for their Sweet Tea. I forgot to talk about it in the first review. I thought their Sweet Tea was GREAT!!!! As a matter of fact I have had two people bring me back a large cup, with NO ice, of course. I am happy that I stopped here! WARNING - I like my tea sweet as hell. So I should let you know that I had to add water to this to bring the sugar down a notch. And that is how I like my tea!!!! This location gets three stars because the staff was incredibly sweet and patient with me and the customers ahead of me. The food was okay. It's comparable to Moe's. I got the veggie burrito bowl and my friend got the chicken quesadilla spicy. We also got the mango lemonade and prickly pear lemonade. Amazing! I would go back just for the lemonade. As far as the cleanliness....it has much room for improvement. The restaurant was a little unkept. The salsa station was messy and items were not filled.
