I was worried about the bad reviews, but the food, service, and overall restaurant were just like any other Chipotle we've been to. New manager came and store went extremely downhill. Very active initially and haven't seen him since. Protein serving sizes are pitiful. Has been closed on multiple random occasions early. Consistently out of different toppings. Customer service is terrible (Told me they were out of red salsa as i'm literally looking at it in the online order section, but too lazy to walk over there to get it.). I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. Been going here for years and always been good. Still feels like "old Chipotle". Good portions, no arguments, and nice staff. Every review is gonna talk about supply shortages and it's mostly true, I've only ever seen shortages on things that are less significant to me though, like chips and lettuce maybe. The food is good quality, but good lord do they struggle with portions. My burrito is half the size it should be, it has like a few pieces of chicken, no cheese in sight, then 80% rice, then just a giant glob of guac at the very end with nothing else. It's already incredibly overpriced, you'd think the least they can do is add a proper amount of meat, mix the guac/queso/salsa around, and make a real "chipotle sized" burrito. Worker kept telling us "15 more minutes," then another "15 more minutes" after that. This is my first time EVER writing a review and I must say, this Chipotle is the absolute worst in every aspect. I normally order online for pick up and the order is NEVER ready at the time you want it to be. Today I even waited 20 minutes for my order to be ready, expecting it as soon as I walked in. It was certainly not ready. When I got handed my bag, a worker was looking inside of it, acting as if he had the order details to make sure everything was inside. I actually had to look inside to double check and they were missing 3 items. I got 2 of the items because I asked for them. Not only was I missing things, the food in the bag was organized so bad that when I walked out of the store, the bag broke and I had salsa juice all over me. Not fun. Also this location is FILTHY! The store in Goldsboro, NC is horrible. Every time I go there is some food item they are missing. Tonight it was no queso, no black beans, no tea and the soda machines were not working. The young woman fixing my burrito was friendly and helpful. However she had two other coworkers standing around the register chitchatting. If there were a way to rate this zero stars I would. I went into this location to order three tacos and a bag of chips to take home. There were only 2 meats available at the time... But I went ahead and did chicken and Barbacoa. When I got to the toppings, everything was covered with sour cream, including the counter. I skipped all of those and just wanted a little bit of cheese, lettuce, and guacamole. Both of the guacamole and lettuce were brown, and the lettuce was sitting in brown water and... I asked them if they could use a new lettuce and guacamole on my order please... They went and took out a new one and then scraped all the disgusting old brown guacamole, right into the new one, and left it right on top... sadly, the owner was there the entire time and took no pride whatsoever and that dirty establishment. I literally paid for my order and walked to my car, opened up a taco to eat for my drive home and everything was Stone cold. I mean to the point that I'm not sure that I have been heated up at all ever. I got out of my car and walked the bag back inside and threw it in their trashcan. If the place is not been such a shit show, I would've gone back up to the front and requested a refund but they had so many customers waiting because they had one girl with a really bad attitude behind the counter doing a very half assed joball and all this was the worst chipotle I've ever been to, and I left without being able to even so much as to eat one taco. This location is experiencing supply issues again. When we arrived, a sign stated they were only taking online orders due to supply shortages. How does that make any sense? I'm not sure what is going on with all the negative reviews. This was by far my best Chipotle experience EVER! The food was very flavorful and fresh-tasting. The service was efficient and accurate. When fixing one of my kids' plates a tortilla shell broke. It was immediately thrown away and replaced with a new one. All items were fully stocked including plenty of bags of chips. It sounds small but those things make a difference. Kudos to management.....this restaurant is well-run! I will definitely plan to return to this location when I am in the area again. read more

The food is good and reasonably priced. Their customer service is what lacks. I'm currently standing in one (that reaches the door) and only one single employee is working the line making food. There are, however, 2 employees laughing and playing around off to the side, though. Speed is not a priority here so count on it taking a while. Additionally, at this time they've been open for just under 3 hours but the place looks like they it got slammed with dinner rush or something. My experience at the Goldsboro NC store includes numerous out of product notices, refusal to sell me chips in-store because I didn't order online, and most recently a to-go order that wasn't even started until I arrived at designated pick-up time, and when I got home discovered it wasn't prepared as ordered.
