I usually don't visit this Chipotle because in the past it's often been messy and they're frequently out of certain food items. However, today's experience completely changed my perspective thanks to Morgan. Morgan went out of her way to make my order with extra care and kindness. When I asked at checkout if I could have three vinaigrettes, the cashier explained that only two could be given and that I couldn't pay for an additional one. Without hesitation, Morgan took one of my vinaigrettes and filled it up for me so I'd have enough for my salad. That small but thoughtful gesture truly went the extra mile and made my day. Customer service like that deserves recognition, and Morgan is the reason I'm taking the time to leave this review. Thank you for turning an experience I usually avoid into a positive one. I can see why this chipotle is rated so low, this guy is the problem. He mistreats every customer in every possible way he can, he was not born to deal with people. When I asked how long would it take for my -online- order to be ready he rolled his eyes and said "it'll take what it'll take", after I insisted with the question he said "I don't know? 5 to 15 minutes?" It ended up taking close to 20 minutes, when the order was ready he put it in the counter without saying a word to me and ignored my good-bye. I could also see everyone else working on something but he wasn't really doing anything besides staying at the register and looking at his phone. I went for a chicken burrito bowl. No chicken was available so I had to get something else. I went with the steak bowl. There were no forks, no napkins, every table is dirty, rice all over the floor. Customers asked for forks and we were told to stock them from the cupboard under the counter ourselves. Anyway, the steak burrito bowl was gross. The "steak" was cheap and tough, and nothing had any flavor. The corn salsa was bland. All you can taste is salt. I wish I would have read the reviews for this location before coming here. This was not even average. Dirty with overflowing bins. No ice in dispenser. Serving place was not cleaned regularly. Loud music blaring out of cooking area and there was a friend of one of the staff who was just hanging around the food serving area and also vaping. Easily the worst imaginable chipotle. 5 people total in line and I was in the store for over 30 minutes. 1 person on the line while everyone else listens to music openly off of their phones and stares at you. Nobody wants to help or do their jobs efficiently. People for online orders were waiting just as long as people in line and it wasn't even busy. This is a typical Chipotle experience nowadays where the food is low quality, the staff is completely disinterested in you and their work, and the price is way too high for what you get. Don't even get me started on how loooooong it takes to get from start to finish with your order. Chipotle should not be considered FAST casual anymore. Let me tell you about my visit to chipotle on rockside yesterday. Stopped there for 1 CHICkEN burrito. No one was in the place except maybe 7 workers. Went to the counter and order it and we were told they have no chicken. That's right no chicken. I said for the night and the smart a__ boy said they were cooking more. I said how long for it to be done (now remember chic is Probally the number 1 item in the meals and they had none). Smart butt boy said should be cooked in 15 minutes. I said we will wait. By the time we got to someplace else it would be done. He goes WHAT. You're waiting while he is laughing at us. I said yes we will wait. And we did. While waiting 5 others came in and all wanted chicken. 2 also waited and 3 left but then waited outside. The whole time this boy kept laughing at us and whispering to a young girl and would look at us and smirk and laugh. I went up to them and said I can hear you and see you. So stop. Now I'm never leaving with out our chicken. No manager in site. Just a manger in training who was the nicest of them all. He actually finally went and cut up the chicken since it was done but the guy grilling it actually was cutting up Steak first I assume it was just to make us wait longer. The bratty boy mention twice we could really go somewhere else. But nope I'm Staying. Finally chic was done and manager in training told the brat to sell it. I was quite surprised we had to actually pay for it but that's ok since the real manager finally came out ( never did we see him all the half hour we were there. There also was the other 3 waiting for CHICKEN this was the worst group of employees who have no idea how to run a food establishment. They get minus 1000 from me and I hope it's closed down soon. This location is consistently horrible. The first time I visited, I was the only patron in the store. After approaching the counter, the employees, all standing in the corner talking, would not make eye contact with me or made any gestures to greet me or take my order. I stood there for a minute before leaving. Today, our office ordered lunch from the same location even though I warned them. My order of half steak and half brisket, came with possibly an ounce of steak, barely noticeable. Also, they used white rice instead of brown rice and cheese instead of sour cream. The burrito was half-stale and the ingredients tasted out of date as well. Advise is to avoid this location. You almost guaranteed to have a bad experience. read more

We stopped at this location today, and it was a mess. They didn't have the new chicken and had no steak ready. The counters were a mess. The serving area was a mess. There were used pans all over the middle counter. We waited for 15 minutes for steak to be cut (along with three other people) and ended up leaving. There was one guy walking around trying to look like he was doing something when he could've been wiping counters anything else to help. The cook was slammed and took forever to put on his glove so that he could cut the steak we'd already been waiting for for 10 minutes. We're never going back to this one! Mid-afternoon on an Friday and they were already a mess. I can't imagine how they're going to do tonight if they couldn't keep it together at 3:30 in the afternoon. read more

Insulted, treated terribly, and filthy kitchen. I walked into this Chipotle, which is well known for having the worst customer service of any Chipotle in the area, but is the closest to my house, and I was starving. It was completely empty except a couple that walked in right in front of me, and as they ordered the extraordinarily mean worker said "we out of chicken", which is what I was planning on getting so glanced back at the menu to order, not paying attention to what else the people in front of me and the employee were saying, either way, they walked out and he not so nicely asked "what you want?" I said I would do steak since I heard they were out of chicken, to which he replied "we out of all meat, what you wanna do". I asked how long til they have something to which he replied "We cooking it now, I dunno how long it'll be" then proceeded to stare at me like he wants to fight. I look at the steam table, and it was absolutely filthy, food slung everywhere. If they were busy, or had anyone in the restaurant, I understand it can get messy during a rush, but based off of what I saw (they other employees standing together just talking), no one cares about the guest or the food here. I can't even speak to the food, as I was so taken aback at how mean the worker was, I had to leave. I will never go to any Chipotle again, but will miss it-- to those of you who understandably frequent Chipotle, stay away from this one. Absolute trash. read more

They ask what they can improve? They could update their website and app! THEY CLOSE AT 10! If you order after 9 pm don't expect your order to start getting made until you've already waited 10 minutes. At this point I'm not even upset at the team workers, I'm really disappointed in whoever is in charge of the app/website. The store states their closed at 10, but the app allows you to order AFTER they're closed. I can't be the only disappointed customer! The first time I encountered this, my pick up time was 10:15. We were able to get into the store and the staff was nice enough to make us our food with what they could, but they never received the order. Today I called ahead to verify their closing time, and I was told 11. I placed my order and my pick up time was 9:30, as I go in to get my order at 9:35 it wasn't ready or even started. When they went to go make it they were scrapping the bottom of every pan because they already started the closing process! I tried to call chipotle to let them know, and I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. Called back and I was told what I wanted to hear "we will make this a priority blah blah blah". I asked to be contacted by a supervisor when/if it's actually going to be handled. I'm making this review so others aren't left with the burnt ends like I am, AND so the staff there can finally get out at the time they're supposed to. The rudest employees ever - the girl looked at me, sighed, and mumbled something. I said hello and she flat out ignored me. OK fine, maybe she's having a bad day. I gave her my order and she repeated it back to me which is appreciated. However, I asked her to put something on the side and she said that they don't do that. I've had things on the side many times chipotle so I'm not sure what she was talking about. So I asked her to put it in another container like a to go bowl. She said she'd have to charge me the entire price for that bowl. This place is not worth it. I. said she can keep my order and walked out. Also, the dining room is a mess. I understand lunchtime is busy, but there were napkins all over the floor. There was guacamole smeared all over I would be afraid to touch anything here. There is no sense of urgency at this location, even when the line is to the door there is no urgency by any of the staff. Every time I come in the evenings they tend to have all of the chairs stacked like they are getting ready to close even though the don't close for several hours. They do not want you to sit inside. I would leave 0 stars for I could. Upon entering, I was told that they were mobile pick up only. Which was fine, but the workers on the inside took mobile orders only as if they did not have to work. I placed an online order. I came back 25 minutes later with confirmation that my order was ready to pick up. The workers were very rude and not polite. Without confirming who I was, the workers told me that they did not have my order and I need it to get my money back through the online app. I shared with them that I had confirmation that my order was ready to pickup they continue to decline my order stating I did not have a pickup at this location . At that point, I asked for a manager, I explained to them the situation she goes in the back and magically my order pops up and is ready. The order was missing a few items and cold. I work down the hill from the Independence location near Brecksville Rd., this location has went to shi...., went to order food, the restaurant lights were out two employees were sitting down eating their food, walk up to order and the employee sitting down eating his food, says "We don't have any food" What you don't have food its 1:15 during lunch hour, the food counter is dirty, if there is no food why not clean the area where customers order food, no signs posted closed or out of food but employee are sitting down eating in the dark because the lights are turned off in the restaurant, when customers are coming in to order, this restaurant use to be really nice and efficient that has ended. I have to say, this place was absolutely disgusting. Food was on the kitchen floor(see picture) and no one seemed to care. The staff actually stepped over it, like it was no big deal- There was an empty trash can that obviously was meant for the trash, but did not have a darn thing in it. The staff was completely disinterested in you and their work. They cared more about their phones and Facebook. There is no sense of urgency whatsoever.. The staff was very rude and shouting throughout the place like they were at a party. I am not sure how this place is not shut down for violations. This as my first time visiting this Chipotle. I have a gluten allergy, and most restaurants are fantastic and know what to do. I had to tell the server 3 times to change the spoons and then when he did, he still tried to use the old spoon. I asked for the bar to be cleaned and it wasn't. The customer service was horrible and the entire staff acted put out that I had an allergy. not to mention it wasn't a busy time and there wad only one person ahead and one person behind me. I think the staff needs some training in food allergies as is Chipotle's stance on allergies. read more

Of all the chipotle's I have been to, this one is by far the WORST of them all. I ordered a mobile order at 11:00 that was promised at 11:10. At 11:45, 35 minutes past my promised time, in an empty restaurant, my food was still not ready. Employees were on their phones and eating meals they made for themselves in front of me. They never asked me what I needed or wanted, but was aware of my presence the entire time. When I did finally ask, they said it isn't ready, which is when I walked out. Ordered online around 3 pm for pickup at 450 after workp. When I arrived at 450 there was a sign on the door saying the grill is broken. When I walked in (hoping my food was made before the grill broke), I was told they were out of chicken, steak, and the quesadilla press was broken. When I asked about a refund I was told I would have to do it through the app. The app is all automated and not very helpful so they only offered me a free drink. Im Going to dispute the charge via my credit card because I don't think I'm getting anywhere with chipotle. I think it's ridiculous that I wasn't contacted in any way about the fact that they couldn't make ANY of my food. Chipotle sure isn't what it used to be which is too bad. read more
