There's a lot of hate here for this Chipotle location. I found it to be fine for what I needed, a quick lunch to take home between my mom's doctor visits. I like their new high protein menu and had a High Protein-High Fiber bowl. It was packed full of ingredients, and for the healthier option is fairly priced. Chipotle once upon a time ago was a great go to fast food option but has gone down in their quality in recent years. I decided to stop in to grab something to eat as I was craving something somewhat healthy. The employees here have pretty subpar customer service. They just seem like you're annoying them for asking them a question. I ordered a burrito bowl and wanted to try out the plant based sofrito as I've been eating more plant based alternatives. The employee gave a half scoop and literally 3 peppers from the fajita veggies. When I asked for more - it was like I was asking to borrow $20. The portion sizes at Chipotle have noticeable gotten smaller but wow. The restaurant was semi clean near the napkin station but with the amount of employees working and very few customers, more could be done. Each requested item from the 1st bowl was thrown in bowl, so when additional portion was asked for server kept saying "whatever, that's extra" I asked about choices that used to be on menu, she said "you don't see it. We don't have that anymore!" Walked over to cashier and said "she's got 3 big bowls" came back to me and hurriedly tossed ingredients in bowl. By the time I arrived at cashier, she just wide-eye stared at me. I asked about costs for meals, she just stared. When I asked her again she stared. The girl with pink hair on salsa today and manger on duty need to be fired! A customer in front of us ask her the girl to pull her hair up and out of her face because it's not sanity and she didn't want hair getting in her food or anyone else's. Manager moved her to cashier where she began yelling how much she hates people. Then when the customer went up to pay the girl in the pink hair starts calling the customer a B and saying then why do you eat here. The customer said all I asked was for you to pull her hair up and away so no hair went in the food. She continues to call the customer curse words and other names. The customer had to ask for the manager. Then girl in the pink hair goes back to take out and proceeds to scream and yell more curse words at the customer. The manager did absolutely nothing. The place was dirty. Counters were dirty. The worker also said to all of us in line that if we don't like her hair out that we can get the F out and that she doesn't give a F. We ordered dinner on the web for pickup at this new Chipotle and it was awful. We arrived at the drive thru window at the exact time I stated I would be there. We were greeted by a worker with a one word question.."NAME?" She handed me my bag (almost threw it at me) without another word. Miserable attitude to say the least. I got home (a 5 minute drive) and this is what I found: Ice cold burrito, loosely wrapped and it was a mushy mess. Hard, cold quesadilla sloppily made with overcooked chicken . Almost no taste with both of them. The app asks for a tip for the "hard workers that made your order"...They should have paid me. Based on other reviews, it seems we are not alone. Just went to the New Chipotle near Sprouts and OTOW. Never again! Did the Mobile App Drive Through. It took more than 20 minutes to try to get my food! The chips are stale with an odd taste, though, that taste is personal preference. The stale is not. I had to park and go inside and still had to wait. I had frozen food in my car and never would have ordered if I knew it would be like this. I asked to have my order canceled but was told I could not. Would have to call corporate office for that! I ordered a regular chicken burrito and chips and cheese. Didn't care for their queso either, but that could be bc chips were not good. I suggest trying at least once and make your own decision. Total cost a bit over $15.00. Will stay with Taco Bell. They know how to do mobile orders and run a drive through. And at that price, I'll stay with Azul Tequila! This location has poor customer service! I was overcharged and didn't notice it until later. When I called to get reimbursed I was told that I needed to come in but I was just visiting the area at the time. When I inquired as to why, I was rudely told by Rebecca that I couldn't be refunded and to called customer service, which I intend to. What company doesn't refund an overcharged item? Most definitely the worst chipotle experience I've ever had. We were passing through and stopped to grab a quick bite and as soon as we walked in we noticed how disgusting the place was. Napkins, utensils, food, and even a high chair scattered across the floor. Trash cans were full to the brim with no effort to try and take them out. It was busy but not busy enough for the place to be as dirty as it was. Not a single clean table or place to sit. They were taking the time to refill lemonades and organize drinks but not clean the tables or sweep. Also found what I assume to be an entire bay leaf in my food, which are not digestible. Let me start this review off with the negative. Parking at this small strip mall where this Chipotle location is at is very tight. With that being said, this particular location is otherwise fine. I am a fan of Chipotle. For fast food, it is relatively healthy and since I am trying to drop a few pounds, I am liking the cauliflower rice that they are now offering. I have to say that I don't particularly like that it's a two dollar up charge and they only give you one scoop as opposed to two scoops of regular rice, but it is what it is. Service was relatively decent, especially considering got it was pretty busy. I would definitely recommend a visit here. Good food in a casual environment. My wife and I have eaten at Chipotle since it opened in Denver in 1993 and continued to do so after moving to Florida at Gainesville and Ocala, where we live. Over the years and depending on when and where we would eat, the burritos would range from less than adequate and dried out, to outstanding and flavorful. You all remember those days when the server was barely able to close the burrito, which was advertised on those big billboards. A couple weeks ago we decided to go to the one in Ocala, which we eat at multiple times a month. My wife usually places our order, because I have PTSD from military service during Desert Storm. She started the order and the guy behind the counter seemed to be rushing the process, so she asked him to slow down. As for me, I started searching the app to scan for points, which I can't seem to find every time I try. She ordered my burrito bowl with double rice and double chicken, then her chicken burrito. I happened to look up when asked what else I wanted on it by a lady on the register. I looked at the burrito bowl and noticed that the double sized chicken portion did not cover the rice, but just bit my tongue and said cheese, when I should have said yeah, I'd like to have chicken on my chicken burrito. It was then I heard my wife ask for a little more chicken on her burrito and the guy behind the counter said she was given the appropriate portion size. My wife started to explain we have come here many times when the server blurted out he was the manager. At this point, I closed the app knowing she would make a change to our lunch menu and as expected she motioned for me to leave and we did. Now, I do understand that a portion size is 4oz; however, proper training and monitoring of staff could avoid any issues regarding a customer's questions about the appropriate serving size. I myself have worked as a cook for Chili's four years, decades ago, and do know how much space a cooked 8oz piece of chicken takes up, so the double portion was off. I know that this review is a bit much for a burrito, so let me get to the point. The cost of a burrito with this company, as with all others, has increased exponentially over the years. I understand that salaries have increased, but 123 calories of chicken, in addition to other ingredients does not add up to the caloric intake needed by an adult, a child maybe, but not an adult. The rice in the burrito weighs more than the chicken. So my wife came up with an alternative that you all should try. First, don't waste the time and gas driving 9-16 miles to pay two to three times the cost and make it at home instead. The ingredients are fresher, the portion size more than adequate and you don't have to be subjected to a little man with a big ego explain he is king of the burrito heap. Maybe then when a customer asks for a couple extra pieces of the lowest costing protein, next to beans, you'll just do it and have the opportunity to keep your job a while longer before you are closed for expecting customers to keep paying more for the same amount. To say the food at this Chipotle is awful is not giving enough credit to the word AWFUL. A starving dog would not eat this swill. My carnitas tacos were firstly, made wrong (I asked for soft tacos and got hard corn shell tacos). And it went downhill fast. The meat was refrigerated cold. The salsa was water, the cheese was cold and wet. The crema was white liquid like someone had poured a cup of water over the tacos. The corn shells dissolved, the carnitas was swimming in a puddle of salsa crema goo. Whomever made these tacos had hate in their heart, I swear. That you could ever allow a customer to receive such a monstrosity speaks only to the level of twisted, loathsome characters that now populate restaurants as employees attempting to exorcise their mental health challenges on the unsuspecting public who pays through the nose for the privilege to be so abused through food service. The guacamole was flavorless, mushy, lacking anything that would indicate it was even vaguely Americanized Mexican food. It came in a cup that was $7 that had a 1/2 inch false bottom so it looks like the container is more full than it actually is. Not that you'd want this to be full of the dingy green paste that was in the cup. Unsurprisingly I felt unwell after only a taste of guacamole and a spoonful of cold carnitas. I have been eating at Chipotle for over 12 years, and it's normally wonderful. However, over the past couple of months, every time I order a burrito, it is full of chunky fatty meat. I called to complain to the manager, and after 45 minutes of being put through the ringer, I finally reached a manager, and he said that they are aware of the fatty meat and are serving it anyway as they attempt to rectify the issue.... Like, WTF is that? He said that their griller isn't trained to remove the fatty meat LMFAO!! Cooperate needs to shut that down and hire new management. There are normally long lines here and customer service isn't great. I'd recommend Chipotle but not this one since it's poorly managed. The food is normally cooked well but the general atmosphere is unwelcoming. The music is very loud and the dining room/drink station very dirty. Often time there will be 9 to 11 people in line and only one person working on the line making food. I have observed this during lunch dinner and in-between after visiting maybe 12 times total. Today they didn't have veggies all day and I normally get a veggie bowl or burrito because I like the guacamole. I asked if I instead could do sofritas with the guac for free but the manager said "no.". Had I known I wouldn't have waited in line for 15 minutes. The chipotle in Lady Lake has gone down hill as well. They must have a new manager because there were no vegetables twice when I've gone there. A good manager would or should always have another pan of vegetables on backup and when you start using them, then manager should start another pan to always have enough. This goes for all the foods on the prep line. They also are getting very skimpy on the items that that they put into the bowls. There are workers bumping into each other... give them a job of having backups ready when needed. Also, their credit card machine is down frequently so they only want you to pay cash. You walk in the door and the first thing you hear is "do you have cash because our credit card machine is down". REALLY! C'mon chipotle you can do better! read more

Ordered here only once and that's it for me. It seems like Ocala and Gainesville's Chipotle's all have very poor quality food and management. As a result I'll be looking elsewhere for Mexican which is a shame because I really enjoyed eating here when I was in Orlando. The one time I ordered from this location they forgot my queso for my chips, switched the beans to a different type, left out my fajita vegetables, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, half my meat, and cheese. At that point I would have rather just been refunded and not gotten any of the food since the only thing correct was the rice and lettuce... Especially since a majority of those items were added as an upgrade at an additional cost. As a result, I'll never be eating at any Ocala location and will definitely think twice to even eat here in general. I hope people heed the warnings that the ratings give here and accept that this is NOT a place to go to when looking for food. I travel often and have been to 100s of chipotle locations. I have never had a worse experience than I had here. I ordered ahead with a scheduled pickup of 8:00. Arrived at 8:07 - not ready. After 8:20 I checked in with 2 different employees and told them I had an 8:00 order. At 8:38 it finally came out.
