Worst Chipotle experience. I got a chicken bowl and my mother got a chicken burrito. The chicken had rubbery hard tendon pieces, big chunks of fat and was literally inedible - we both got so grossed out! After about 2 bites mother said 'worst burrito I've ever eaten' as she threw it in the trash... note we are big leftovers people and generally save everything to eat later - the fact the chicken was SOOO inedible was unbelievable. Won't be going back to Chipotle for a while and DEFINITELY not this one! Should have just thrown my $27 into the trash. read more

This is one of the few Chipotles I've been to that gives GREAT portion sizes. They also usually get our order correct and if they don't, they fix it immediately (and throw in some bonus for our troubles). A good place to pick up good food. This is one of the over 3750 restaurants in the chain that is headquartered in Newport Beach, Ca. I have been to many of their locations in many different states. This one is located off the north side of US 54 just west of the Suncoast Parkway. There is not a lof of parking in front of the location. This was our first visit to this location but it is very similar in style, quality, and service to their other restaurants in that you order at one side of a line and follow your meal through the line to completion adding items that you want as you move down the line. They serve bowls and burritos with beans, rice, and meats. Their ingredients are fresh and I have always gotten a good meal. Normally I order and eat there but not this time. This time we actually ordered a large (5 boxes) of food for a party. The price was reasonable and it was prepared fresh. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and paying and picking up was very easy. The staff actually helped carry and put the food into the car. The food was very good and still hot and cold when we got it to our destination. The only downside was that this seems a popular hangout for teenagers when I visited for the pickup and they were not a quiet group. I would recommend this location to my fellow travelers looking for a good meal in the area. read more

Only issue I had was they gave me 5 pieces of chicken In the whole bowl & there was a ton of cilantro in the salsa, it's almost overpowering!! Can't really lose with Chipotle, it's usually fresh and so good but it wasn't meant to be tonight at this location. I got a burrito and the staff who assembled my burrito must have skipped training on how to wrap burritos. I must say that it's the most pitiful and hideous burrito I've ever seen (see photo). And as you can guess, it didn't hold well and fell apart after 2 bites. I think this staff needs to work in the back and get retrained. read more

If there was zero stars, they would get that. Ordered a burrito, employee informs me they are out of tortillas. I ask for them to use one from the other line which visibly has them. They inform me that they cannot use "those" tortillas, due to online orders. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. As these are under the same roof, not 3 steps away. Makes zero common sense to have to walk outside, place an online order to be able to use tortillas from a different prep line, not 10 feet away. Every other chipotle that I've been to, the customer service has been terrible. The workers just seem like they hate their life, no one smiles, or has any eye contact. They clearly never clean anything in this establishment. We stayed after we were done eating just to watch to see if they cleaned anything when they slowed down and had no customers. Nope. Nada. Nothing. They filled containers that needed filled and then just stood around like they had nothing to do. The place was disgusting! From the tables to the kitchen. At one point someone came out and picked up a plate and napkin and rice on the table but never wiped or cleaned the actual tables. And they were nasty. They just pick up the garbage and left the sticky disgusting table as is. We saw someone put a container down on top of the chicken being cooked on the grill so he could grab something else. Everyone and every thing was disgusting!!! We will never return. read more

Staff is always nice and courteous! When you dine-in the restaurant you always get the appropriate portion, when ordering online you end up getting less. The food quality can be hit or miss but it's chipotle so it is still worth it. read more

Well oiled machine. This place runs and operates at a level never witnessed before. The staff are always extremely friendly and courteous. The cooks take recommendations and suggestions as they are open to new ideas/ areas of improvement. The food is always amazing. I usually get a barbacoa or pollo Asado bowl with guac. Doesn't matter if you walk in 15 minutes before close (sometimes we can't help it in our busy lives), they always treat you right. Awesome establishment. read more

We ordered meals through DoorDash and it was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. However, when we went to eat, the food was absolutely horrible. Someone obviously dumped excess amounts or spices and salt in both our meals. My meal actually has chunks of whatever spices they use and was so salty we couldn't eat them. I tried to call and only got an automated bot. Then I tried live chat and it was crystal clear that it was not a live chat but another bot. So I'm here making this review. Doesn't make up for the $32 we spent but I feel it's a customer's duty to report these incidents. Otherwise, how will they be resolved. With so many choices of good food for takeout, I always end up at Chipotle. I feel confident that the food is fresh and they have a handle on quality control. On this particular evening, we stopped into the Odessa location around 8 pm. There were several employees milling around behind the counter and in the kitchen. When i started to place my order, I looked at the food in the trays. It looked messy, not fresh and nearly gone. The counter he made my tacos on was filthy and full of food. If I wasn't so hungry I would have walked out. I ordered 3 tacos and my husband a burrito. We live 5 minutes away. By the time we got home the tacos were a cold sloppy mess and the burrito was also cold and mushy. We spent over 30$ that evening, and will never return. Shame on the owner of that location. As far as Chipotles go, this location was very clean and the staff was friendly. Ingredients were fresh and well kept. Plenty of parking and seating and in a good location. Update: Its a travesty that Chipotle is the chain that won out over other similar restaurant because they really aren't as good as similar places. So I look for a few things with certain fast food restaurants. The top being following the health codes. This place is spot on. The workers change their gloves if they touch anything else before making your food. They are fast and the food is consistently fresh, I mean like they just cooked in two minutes ago fresh. The guacamole is some of the best I've had and never grey or brown, so you know that's fresh also. The portions are very good. Get a bowl, and some soft wraps and you can easily make two burritos out of it. The chips I like to microwave for 15-20 seconds if I get to-go. One of the better chipotle's around here. Can get busy at times but that's a good thing in my mind. Recommend. read more

It's such a shame that this Chipotle is so stingy. This is the 4th time my loaded steak bowl looks like a picky child's tiny portion bowl. They do not fill any of the portions of the food they serve. Extra lettuce? Barely any. This was a fully loaded steak bowl and it looks absolutely abysmal. Whenever I've picked up a bowl inside, it seems like replacing their empty bins of food is a problem, so rather than work on being more efficient, they just serve you a smaller portion as to avoid having to refill the food. It's a disappointment because this location is such a convenient one for me, but I truly am not getting my moneys worth with these microscopic portions, essentially charging me $14 for 1/5 of what I should have received. Tried to order online, but the site wasn't working. Decided to just order in store. Waited in line about 5 minutes and then got to the counter. I ordered a chicken quesadilla (as I have 5+ times before). They told me they're not allowed to make it. I asked why. They explained that the Regional Manager had recently decided that quesadillas have to be ordered online now and that they're not allowed to accept in store orders because it holds up the line. I explained that I tried to order online and it wasn't allowing me to submit the order, that I have ordered this same item in store several times, and that I was aware of the line because I had just waited in it. They still refused to make my quesadilla and told me that I needed to sit at a table, order through the web, and wait for my order to be ready. After several minutes of me explaining that I tried to do this the right way, and that it would be faster to make the quesadilla than to have argued with me, a woman slammed a tortilla down, rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted on my quesadilla. I said simply chicken and cheese. At that point, I timed her to see how long it actually takes to make this item and how much it holds up the line. It was ready and in the box in 22 seconds. For 22 seconds, this regional manager has decided that it's better for his employees to argue with a repeat customer than to just make the quesadilla? And I'm certain that the goal of 'not holding up the line' is to make the customer experience better. However, telling loyal customers that they can't order the same thing that they've always ordered because it takes 22 seconds, and instead, arguing with them for 3 minutes seems counterproductive to that goal. Plus, I had tried to order online for an additional 10 minutes, and the submit order button was unresponsive. read more

I don't normally do reviews but I am very disappointed with my experience at this Chipotle. Look I get it working in fast food or customer service probably sucks but there are plenty of jobs and multiple opportunities elsewhere that pay better if you're unhappy with your job. My girlfriend and I came into this location to just grab a quick bite to eat and upon approaching the food bar we were both met with aggravated looks by staff and the occasional sigh. The staff members almost made us feel as though we were burdening them with our presence. The slamming of the spoons in the food bowls and the sloppy dropping of rice in my burrito to my burrito being tossed down the line nearly missing the counter and almost falling on the floor. This location has a history of this behavior but it is getting worse. I don't appreciate that while I'm eating some cocky rude kid is sweeping next to my feet and swirling dust into the air. It's safe to say I will not be visiting this location ever again see for yourselves but I will not be treated like trash as a paying customer. read more

Clean restaurant, nice store layout, however the general manager is super cheap when it comes to food portions. I've been going to many different Chipotle's for over 5 years, and this location is by far the stingiest with the amount of food they give you. Even when asking for more rice, the employees freak out as if they've been brainwashed to only allow a certain amount of rice on your bowl. Truly, the general manager has done a great job at threatening his employees jobs jobs over a few grains of rice. Wesley Chapel location kills it over this sad excuse for a restaurant. read more
