I don't care what the haters say, this is one of the best chipotles in Pittsburgh. The workers are friendly, accommodating (most of the time), and the food tastes good. I have yet to find a bone or anything weird in the chicken (a common problem with other Chipotle's I have been too) and they take the time to care about the quality of their ingredients. Also the portion sizes are normal and consistent. The restaurant is always clean and typically fast unless there is a rush and might take a bit. This is truly the worst Chipotle location I've visited. The inside is dirty and always smells strange, the staff is very unfriendly, and my order is always wrong. They close the dining room randomly and give lots of attitude if you walk in and try to order at the counter. My most recent order, which will be my last, included 4 entrees and every single one of them was wrong. Flour tortillas for someone who explicitly wrote corn shells because they're gluten free. Missing toppings and added toppings that were not requested. Missing fruit from a kids meal, missing guacamole for chips & guac. Customer service is just on the app and is AI. I honestly don't know where to begin. But I truly do feel bad for the employees that work here. They are setup for failure every single day. From being consistently understaffed, to not being trained properly. To now implementing absolutely ABSURD policies such as their new scale rule for cheese and rice. $1.90 extra now if you want more then 3 pieces of cheese. Same with rice. This establishment is a joke. The GM should be fired and permanently banned from ever managing a team or any employees ever again. His existence is a stain on this community, and a perfect example of what greed and lack of empathy can do to people and an establishment. Today was my first order ahead Chipotle experience, and I loved that! (I swear I live under a rock sometimes) I ordered my lunch about an hour in advance, and it was done on time. I will say that for after 1 in the afternoon, this location was very busy! My bowl didn't taste like chipotle. I'm sorry, I know that sounds strange but it's so true! There's something so yummy about a burrito bowl, but today my bowl fell so short that I didn't even want to finish it. The black beans didn't seem quite cooked, and the rice was just so plain and dry. My bowl had a good bit too it, but it just wasn't what I'm used to from chipotle! 2 stars instead of 3 because (vegetarians will understand this) when I was about 1/2 way through my bowl, with a whole big bite... steak! I have frequented this Chipotle for a while now, however, within the recent past (a few months) any time I've ordered to the Chipotle on McKnight in Siebert Plaza, sure enough, the following day I'm combating food poisoning. Order after order, I thought it was me, until last night. Over the weekend I ordered for 3, myself included, 2/3 people woke up with food poisoning. Suspicion: Confirmed. I mobile ordered from this location & they messed up both bowls entirely. I am a pretty understanding person, so i just asked for them to possibly be remade but the older woman who helped me basically argued back & fourth with me even though I clearly pointed out what was different between the receipt & what was actually put in the bowls. She reluctantly remade one of the bowls, but continuously gaslit me about my own. They had put red salsa instead of green, & claimed it was "part of the meat".... the sofritas has never been bright red, & I insisted it was the wrong salsa but she kept arguing with me so i eventually dropped it all together. Hands down the worst chipotle I've ever been to. After placing an order for 6:50 and arriving shortly afterwards, the employees marked my order as "ready" when it wasn't. I had to wait until 7:30 to get my food even though the restaurant was nearly empty. The employees had no idea how to operate the mobile ordering system. Employees were sitting around in a circle on their phones, gossiping with each other. They got upset with a customer in front of me and told him to leave after he told them that he was missing part of his order. There were multiple ingredients missing, the bowl lids were out so I was given foil to cover my food with. The conditions are filthy and an employee's family brought in their dog to the restaurant and employees came to see the dog, all the while I'm waiting 30+ minutes past my order time. The food itself wasn't horrible, but definitely below average compared to other chipotles. It didn't help that multiple ingredients I wanted were out due to poor ordering practices. this place is great, they give you plenty of time to wait for your food, like 45 minutes which is nice. the rice is never cooked so it hurts your teeth, cuts your gums, and carry's multiple diseases that will boost your immune system which is great. the steak is super chewy to strengthen your jaw, making it excellent for punching yourself in the face repeatedly when they mess up your order. great experience. read more

I have eaten at this chipotle atleast 30 times. It has always been a pleasant experience until today. The line had 20 people waiting and only 1 guy working. There was a young lady who was sitting down and playing on her phone as her coworker was slammed. The guy on the line refused to give me extra rice even after I said I'd pay for it and also refused the guy in front of me the fresh chicken that was cut up. On top of all this they had a cup on the counter and I grabbed it to get a water to take my medication and they proceeded to charge me for a "free" water cup. When I protested the 2 works got nasty and treated me like a lesser human. I have ALWAYS been kind and respected their workers but after today I am DONE. I will not be spoken to like that by anyone and no customer should have to deal with that rude behavior. Message to management, y'all need a serious overhaul. read more

Ordered 2 exactly the same burrito bowls online and picked up, after getting it home found that only one was correct. The other was missing 5 ingredients and had steak instead of the chicken it was supposed to have. I took it right back and the staff acted dumbfounded as to what happened. They remade the bowl and STILL it had one ingredient missing. The worst thing was that they acted like I was at fault and handed me the remade bowl with a simple "here you go", no apology for my inconvenience of having to drive back to the restaurant. I want to start out by saying that the staff here are incredibly hard working and are always running around to get meals made as efficiently as possible. However, this chipotle has been set up to fail by whoever is in charge. Worse than that, the system is set up for their staff to be yelled at by customers. This chipotle is never properly stocked. I have not gotten a meal there without a part of my meal missing. This past time I ordered online only to find out they were out of both guac and chips, both of which I had paid for. I have firsthand witnessed staff being yelled at by customers for being out of ingredients. Whoever is responsible for orders is not doing their job and as a result customers pay for food they don't get (and have to go through the app process only to get a free drink off a future purchase) and staff are being worn down by unhappy customers. I will be avoiding this location from now on after 5+ meals of a missing item. read more

This chipotle needs a complete overhaul. I think it's comical that the management responds to each bad review on here stating that they will "pass the feedback to the leadership at the location" when clearly nothing has been improved for months and months. The location is gross, with every table messy and crusted with old food. Mobile orders are at least 30 MINUTES late, EVERY TIME. The employees are astonishing with how slow they are at assembling chipotle bowls, so even ordering in store is excruciatingly painful. I would also like to note that when my bowl moved from the rice and meat section to the cheese section the employee just put the lid on top of my bowl as If I was ready to pay.
