Chipotle is pretty convenient for when you're a busy bee and need to grab a quick meal on Thayer. Sometimes I feel like the workers want to give me my food faster than I want to receive it. I always order the same thing (chicken burrito bowl with queso), but there are days where it's a hit or miss. I've had to experiment with the different salsas three times for me to finally figure out which one I like best. I think they're called mild, medium, and hot? But I call them -the one with tomatoes (I'm not a big fan of tomatoes and one time I made the mistake of choosing this one smh) -the green one (this one is my winner! has flavor but it's not too spicy for me) -the red one (i can't enjoy my bowl with this included. my tongue only focuses on the fact that it's burning) If I'm having a day where I'm really indecisive about what kind of food I want to eat, Chipotle is a pretty default decision, so you can expect me here when people ask me "What do you wanna eat?" and I say "I don't know.... how does Chipotle sound?"

the staff seem ok but they are not taking care of the tables or restaurant. the food prep area is full of leftovers from prior prep of food and it has been there a while from the looks of it. the tables had food all over them and the silverware area was disgusting. the floor was nasty and covered in food. nobody is cleaning regularly. it is sad to see this restaurant run this way without board of health getting involved. the stars and ratings should be something management takes seriously because it matters to us who look for places to eat .. do better get cleaner

This was the most disappointing chipotle I've ever had a meal from. As a former employee I was taught to uphold a certain level of quality. Around 10pm tonight I placed an order for delivery from chipotle. Upon the very late retrieval of my food (The delivery driver got lost in the hotel and sat in her car apparently hoping I'd go find her) I opened the bag to find a note on the lid. "Sorry no white rice no mild) Had I known that I would have changed my order accordingly. A phone call would have been nice. My chips were over salted dripping in grease and mostly crushed.

Man, what would my life be without Chipotle? Having one on college hill is my saving grace after long Scili study sessions. The food here is always consistently good, and the service is commendably efficient, even under the duress of long dinner-hour lines. I always order my usual: a salad bowl with meat, cheese, pico, corn salsa, and guac. It's healthy, yummy, and filling despite being on the pricier side. The quality of Chipotle's meat does differ across locations, but I have yet to be disappointed here. There barbacoa has been without fail delicious. The employees are generally young, probably high-school or college aged. They're not excessively friendly - their goal is to move fast - but they tend to do their job well. There is some indoor seating, but you have to be lucky to get it. There are also a couple of seats outside. This generally isn't a great place to sit and chat with a large group of friends, but it's fine for a group of 2-3. It's also quite nice to sit at their window bar seating and people watch. In a nutshell, this Chipotle is a safe bet for a tasty, quick, healthy meal.

i ordered a veggie bowl with at least 7 things and just got rice and beans.

First off, the good: Ethan our server was very sweet…read moreThe food was DELICIOUS (carnitas quesadilla and bean dip in particular) However we had a pretty bad customer service experience with the owner who was contacted after we noticed a discrepancy with our bill. We ordered the chips and guac for 14.50, which comes with beans and salsa, and says says free refills (menu attached). We asked for one refill of beans and one of guac. When we got the bill, we were supposed to see charges for the beans and guac. Our server explained that the free refills were only for the chips and salsa. We asked to see a menu again and pointed out that it says free refills. Our server contacted the owner/manager who doubled down on the misleading statement and charged us for both refills (total of 10.50 additional cost). It's really a bummer because I had read a bunch of reviews on here and my takeaway is that the food is great but the management leaves something to be desired. Be upfront with your customers! It's a great restaurant with delicious food, I'm glad small businesses exist, and I wish that we had been treated with more grace and honesty. Losing $10 on your end (or even just being upfront and stating the refill policy on the menu) is well worth it for a positive customer experience. I would have loved to give this place 5 stars but took 1 off for the misleading pricing and another for the way that it was handled by the manager.

The menu is small and yet there's always plenty of yummy things to try when I go, even as a picky eater. There are multiple vegetarian and even a vegan option or two. I always have to get the guac when I come here - it's the perfect amount of creaminess without too much onion. Their red salsa is a great slightly chunky - slightly juicy texture and has a bit of a kick. The vegan burrito bowl is my go-to as a vegetarian, and the street corn side as an app is elite! It is a little spicier these days since the recipe was updated from on the cob to off the cob (I much prefer off for ease of eating and sharing!) The Coconut Cartel margarita was creamy and smooth and went down *quick* haha. Others in my party loved the spicy Margarito, although they were out of the main spicy tequila but the servers offered substitute recommendations. I came with a very large work group today, and the servers were so patient and flexible when we asked for modifications from the menu. I even was able to order the queso dip with the chorizo on the side (yummy but very thick cheese dip!), and they were very attentive of my colleague's mushroom allergy and made sure she got dedicated dishes, even when we were all sharing apps. The churro donuts seem to have changed recipe and got mixed reviews - some thought they were dry, another says she Uber Eats just those regularly Sitting outside in the summer on the patio is nice. Tasty, interesting dishes with modern urban twists on Mexican recipes. Truly the only slight downside is that sometimes parking can be tricky in this area, but you can always find free street parking, it may just take you a little bit. Even the funky and creative decor is a selling feature for me. A must-try!

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Providence. In the three times I've been back over…read morethe last few years, I've had a couple stellar experiences and one subpar experience. But I'm someone that believes anyone can have an off day so overall this place is really great. First and foremost, get the margarita. They are the best I've ever had. Also, get the tacos. Even as an app they're so great. I got the shrimp and a veg recently. I've enjoyed all of the entrees I've ever gotten. Honorable mention is the shrimp Diablo. Super spicy and delightful. The interior is warm, cozy, and a perfect combo of lit enough so you can see but dark enough to set a mood for spilling tea or flirting with your date. Equal parts good for girls night and good for date night. The not so great: I got flautas once and they fell flauta (haha). Also, it's sometimes a one man show so service can be slow especially if you need refills so be sure to order multiple drinks at a time, or better yet a pitcher. Street parking can be a real pain but sometimes you get lucky on a side street. Definitely worth a visit if you've never been!

So we took a chance. And we were not at all disappointed! First, we were greeted warmly, in a genuine way, by the owner. They seemed genuinely glad to have us. The older gentleman was friendly and playful towards my son. The food was delicious! I had enchiladas with housemate mole. The mole was fantastic: complex and nuanced. My daughter had enchiladas verde, which was smothered in a poblano salsa that was also complex, with great green heat. My son ordered the arracherra, a peppercorn rubbed steak served with homemade guacamole and a delicious cactus salad. I was tempted by several other dishes, particularly the enchiladas mineras (beef cheeks - yum!). All in all, a warm, welcoming, delicious experience that made me want come back. And I will.

At their front patio, they had the World Cup game playing, but the back patio felt cozier so we opted for that. The inside though was a strong second since the lighting is very low, creating a cool and calm environment. Walking through the restaurant to get to our table made me realize that each table is unique, no two are decorated the same or have the same furniture. It was a hot day but the overhead mesh cover blocked out a lot of the sun. Our waitress made us feel very welcome from the start and told us about their drink and food specials. My friend ordered Guatemalan beer as well as a Spanish beer. For food, we ordered the plantain fries, octopus, calamari, and shrimp salad, and grilled lamp chops. The seafood salad came out first. According to the menu, it was going to be paired with cornbread. It looked like sourdough bread but had a far denser consistency. I was expecting the salad to have lots of shrimp to act as a filler but surprisingly, it was about 60% octopus, 25% calamari, 10% shrimp, and 5% onions. The seafood was very flavorful, tasted fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was great for two. Next came the plantain fries, which I was least impressed with as it was essentially fried plantain chunks. I think it would have been better if they were cut into smaller pieces that can be easily dipped and consumed in one bite. The plantain was gently ripe, so just a little sweet and the dipping sauce was like a less sour sour cream. Lastly, the lamp chops came out and the presentation was wonderful. They were a bit skinnier and less tender than that I was expecting, but flavor wise they were good. We enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service here.
