Part of me blames customers for not throwing away trash properly but to have every table surface gross was unacceptable. And workers even missed the trash can. I wish I had read the reviews before we went there today. The place is still a mess. The tables are all gross. Even the outside tables were not clean and the one that we were sitting in with wobbling all over the place. I can't believe that such a highly rated national chain would have such poor food choices. I'm not sure why this place has such an elite standing. Part of our order was chips and guacamole for about five dollars. I'm not sure what the cost was based on. The chips were crushed and may have been less than a cup in the serving. I guess I paid that amount just for the guacamole. This was my first time ever going to chipotle. I had ordered a bowl, opting for the Sofritas. The young woman making my order had no idea of what was in the Sofrita. Also, I did not realize that was my protein. I would've never opted for that. But then when I looked in the steak and other pork meat container, there was very little there, and the grill was full of chicken being cooked. And yes, the waitress had gloves on, but after she was done making my bowl, she started scratching her hair. Her neck complaining about her apron hurting her. I would have to think very hard about ever going to this chipotle again and I'm sorry it is probably tainted my further going to chipotle in the future. One star with more than this place ever deserves to get. The franchise management needs to get involved and clean this place up. On the corporate side, there was a QR code to scan, saying that you would receive a reward instantly of chips and guacamole. I scanned it and created an account but never received any rewards. Been here a few times and it's always dirty. Went today and it's same old same old with it being dirty. Everything about this place is filthy. Prep station they work off- hasn't been wiped down, has food smeared all over it. The glass separating you and the food - food splashes that have been there for what looks like hours. The fountain drink machine, has old residue on sides and behind. Condiment bar next to fountain machine has trash/spills/debris all over it. Tables- not a single one that is clean. Food particles and old napkins on every eating space. Trash cans overflowing. You basically have to leave with your trash If it's this nasty on the customer side - what does the kitchen look like?!? This restaurant today in March 25th. The restaurant was completely dirty, not a table to be had to eat ate, every table had food, garage on the floor everywhere. Let's now talk about the food ordering! The place had food all over the floor, seen mice after ordering my bowl. They had over dated ingredients out, a couple of pieces of meat, the sautéed vegetables I got 3 pieces from a gross ass pan that was heated and stuck like it was 10 hours old I paid, and noticed upon leaving that every trash bin was over flowing onto the floor. I experienced this with the black manager sat in her ass doing nothing other than shopping in her computer I could see from the ordering station. She needs fired immediately and a new staff brought in as well. I will never frequent another establishment that they have and to experience this in our city of high end housing and multi millionaires amongst this establishment is a disgrace. I am very disappointed in the service as well as the behavior from the manager at this particular Rochester location. Not only is this establishment always in disarray, tables are filled with crumbs no matter what time I come, but they also never have fajita peppers. Today, around 2:40 pm, I entered this location with my daughter to order two bowls. Mine was a veggie bowl, and to no surprise, fajita peppers were not an option. After 4 months straight of "just dealing with not having fajita peppers", I needed an answer as to why Veggies are on the menu as protein yet there are never any peppers available. Especially as a protein option for people who do not eat meat. I asked to speak with the manager and inquired when the best time to come in for fajita peppers was. The manager's response was, " We are too busy to chop up veggies. They take too long to prep." My response was, "Ok, so what do you suggest a person do that does not eat meat?" Her response was, "There are plenty of other locations you can go to." I told the manager that her response was not good enough, especially if veggies are an option on the menu. I would have preferred if she had told me the veggies were not available. At least that would have given me an idea of what to expect. But when she told me that they were not offering veggies at this time at this location because it's too much prep work, that didn't work for me. I then asked for her name and told her I would be contacting corporate. The manager shrugged her shoulders and refused to give me her name, saying it was "not important; all I need to know is that she is the manager." Not only was my daughter a witness to this disrespectful behavior but so were about 12 others, including the crew team. It would be a shame on me for requesting something that's not on the menu. But it's a shame on the manager for being annoyed by my request for an item that's on the menu and also being told that the item is available, but the team crew members just doesn't feel like prepping the peppers. What makes matters worse is that the young man taking my order was willing to chop up some peppers for me, he just asked if I could wait a while, which I was okay with doing. The Chipotle ads clearly show that their Chicken Al Pastor bowl includes: fire-roasted peppers and onions, pineapple, marinated chicken, etc. I was disappointed to find that there wasn't any peppers, onions or pineapple available when I ordered two of these bowls. From reading other Yelper's comments, this location is known for lack of staple Chipotle ingredients especially fire-roasted peppers. It's really too bad because this is the most convenient location for me. A Chipotle without grilled peppers and onions is like a day without sunshine. I highly recommend using another location unless you don't mind missing out on one (or two) of the ingredients that they advertise that's essential to Chicken Al Pastor. read more

DoorDash refunded me but I was still hungry and craving my bowl so when I got a break I brought it into the store to ask it to be redone. I was hangry, but Kally was cool, calm & collected as she remade my meal, even though the order DIDN'T EVEN COME FROM HER STORE! We found out it came from the Rochester road location. The place was dirty, they were out of several food items, and the wait time was outrageous. There were 5-6 employees on the floor, yet only one person was making food and taking orders -- and even that one person seemed completely unfit for the job, moving slowly while the line was literally out the door.
