A great meet up spot for my family, we are regulars here. Favorite sit down Mexican place in the area. Guac is the best I've had in rochester. Check out the happy hour deals, there's some good deals on tacos and apps. Service is usually good. I miss when they used to make the customized salsa table side!

I love has great menu options. You could probably order anything from their menu selection and be happy.

Miguel's has great menu options. Their food is always delicious. This has been one of my favorite Togo places for carry outs and dine ins.

Always love their homemade fresh salsa- it's the best of any of the restaurants around. My daughter had the Barrias Flautas and said they were the best. Beef was tender and tasty. She has a food allergy so we let the waitress know ahead of time and she pointed out the dish she could not eat. Nice open decor on inside. We will be back !

Carne Asada fries are 100% awesome!

So this is a nice place to get some authentic Birria tacos. The setting is a very laid back and attentive servers. They are engaging and friendly. The food is full of flavor and their dips all have a flare of freshness that challenges your ability to name a rival restaurant that can make you savor the juices of their broths, salsas, and presentation. I am fan of all that I sampled and ordered. Outstanding restaurant with a signature menu. I usually take photos first before eating but... who likes their nose teased?! I have been here a handful of times and I'm so satisfied afterwards I'm not even thinking about anything else but the fact I enjoyed myself. I will upload better photos later.

    Molcajete Caliente

Only one dish I recommend here, and I go back for it often... Molcajete Caliente - best Mexican dish I've had 'up north.'. Hot, layers of flavor with peppers, onions, chicken, shrimp, and more. Served sizzling hot in special bowl. Tortillas (I had flour) are hand-made flavorful and above the rest. House wine was good for the price. We had party of eight and although I didn't try them, they looked good. Chips thick and warm, sauces flavorful. Eight in party but they accepted separate checks. Easy to converse as music wasn't too loud. Margareta was small but my group felt they were good. My dining group will come here again, but I will always order the Molcajete Caliente

First time back to this location in a long time. We were very happy that we tried it again. We were promptly sat and or drink orders were taken. Corona Light is on the draft list but they do not have it, server stated they have never had it on draft and he wasn't sure why it was on the menu since they just received new menus. They had plenty of other beers to chose from. Chips and salsa were great and they were not stingy with them either. Food came out very stove hot, not microwave hot. It was all very good as well. We do have other Mexican places that we like in the area but it is great to add another one to the list. We will be back!

HH is from 3-6pm, Monday-Friday. We ordered table side guacamole, $12 seems a bit steep. They don't do the table side due to covid. Their pre-made guacamole is $10. It better be good for that high cost. Salsa is free and with the meal. Our waiter was nice enough. He didn't set the prices here. They charge $2.25 for club soda. Ordered 3 $2 Mexican tacos and 3 chicken mole enchiladas with the machaca de pollo ($14) with only beans as a side. The corn chips are okay, not warm and not as fresh as I would have hoped for. Their pre-made guacamole is okay, not so special and not a lot of flavor to it either. More lemon, maybe some cumin and garlic and hint of jalapeño would help it some. Their hot salsa is at least decent, smokey flavored and has good kick to it. The HH grilled chicken tacos were so-so. The meat was dry. The chicken enchiladas mole were blah, tasteless and boring on their own, but were so much better topped with the hot salsa. Total was $34.19. But check-in gets you a free app for now.

If you do not eat meat or any animals, please ask what you can eat! They do not have a vegetarian menu. When my food came out, my burrito was covered in cheese. I had one waitress tell me their cheese was not vegetarian, and was mistaken on my end to assume the other server knew I was. I let our waitress know that what I ordered was not what I expected and that I was sorry about it. She let me know what it said on the menu and grabbed it from me, and I apologized again. The manager came out and told me he was sorry, but that something else I ordered (the rice) was also not vegetarian, and asked if I still wanted it. I was given a "new" plate with half of my food scrapped off and a new burrito on it, with rice still under it. Easy to say I lost my appetite. The horchata tastes like it came from a powder mix, and my mother's chicken soup was tough. I don't write reviews like this unless I was genuinely disappointed, which we both were. The food and the vibe was off :(( This is my mom's second time giving this place a shot, she was hoping to have more luck with me there, and they dropped the ball again.

The menu is very traditional, their Beria tacos is amazing, their consume is worthy using for practically anything on the menu! The kitchen staff worked directly in front of the restaurant, and I think that's really cool because you get a chance to experience and take a peek to see what's going on in the kitchen. Occasionally, they'll have tamales, and when they are in, they quickly sell out. I know they're not easy to make, so it's a treat when you can get it. The interior is a typical restaurant environment, but the energy and the personality of the staff make it a complete experience. They even serve a lot of traditional Mexican beverages, including that Cane sugar Coke. The real secret is there's a cut-over to a full bodega! It is really fun to step in there after dinner and walk through the product shelves, because you're going to see so many options that you can't find at a regular grocery store. We ended up paying over $100 for the meal, including the credit card surcharge and tax. The food itself wasn't bad, but at these prices I expected better value. Charging $7 for a ice tea and not offering refills feels excessive. I'd probably consider coming back if the drink prices were more reasonable, but as it stands, there are other Mexican restaurants where I feel you get much more for your money.

From the doubled up corn tortillas, to the tender well cooked meat, cilantro and their wonderful sautéed onions these Street style Taco's are as authentic as anything you would get in Mexico. The gratis house chips and Salsa were equally tasty and a nice complement to the Taco's all being washed down with a sugar cane based Mexican coke. The total bill came in at a very reasonable cost of $12 which is a great value in today's economy and a great deal by any standard. Relative to staff and facility, this appears to be a small family run business where the restaurant itself is located in a small strip mall at the corner of Franklin and Square Lake Rd with an equally small footprint for the restaurant. This is a very unpretentious business (think hole in a wall but in a nice way) with a limited number of dining tables and small staff. Having said that, I had no problem in getting seated and getting my order taken and food brought out in fairly quick order! I have been on a kick for a while now trying to find the best taco joint in the the northern Oakland county area and have to say this is as good as I have come across up to now and am a big fan of this business. If you are into well made authentic Mexican street taco's than this is a must visit for you. This was my first visit here and definately will not be my last where I will be combining this dining venue with my regular Bloomfield Hills Costco trips which is a Quarter mile from the restaurant.
