We both ordered brown rice; we got white rice. I ordered "no beans;" I got beans. We both ordered Fajita veggies as a topping; not a sign of a Fajita veggie. Their protocol for pick up during this pandemic ia fairly clear, but they do not follow them. We were prepared to call from the car when we came for pick up - no need. This was my second time visiting this chipotle. The first time there was no one in line and we were served right away. The staff seemed distracted and didn't pay much attention to our requests. The portions weren't even close to the normal Chipotle portions. I got a small spoonful of rice and had to ask for extra 2 times. The same thing happened as I made my way down the line so I finally gave up asking for more since the server was busy talking to her coworker the entire time and wasn't listening anyways. When we got to the cashier she was inputting something and she didn't even acknowledge us at first. It took her 5 minutes to even ring us up. I was very disappointed in my first visit but I love chipotle so I decided to give it another shot tonight. I walked in and there was a line of about 10 people. It took my 10 minutes to just get to the front of the line. The portions were a little better this time but I still had to ask for extra cheese. I would have asked for extra meat but they RAN OUT OF CHICKEN. How do you run out of chicken?!? I decided to go with the steak... I was served 6 pieces of steak... Yes 6! Uuugh, my fiance & I stopped in for dinner last evening because we were excited to try the new Chipotle in West Seattle. We walked in and there were roughly 10-12 people in line. Knowing how fast the Downtown Chipotle moves people through the line, we figured it would be a 'wait' but not anything longer than 5-10 minutes. Ooooh boy, we were wrong. We waited close to 25-30 minutes before approaching the ordering station and it didn't get any faster from there. In our wait, I think at least 5-6 people left their spot in line and walked out. Bottom line, these workers need more training. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge and each station was very slow and nonchalant. For us, personally, the food is fantastic but quick/prompt service is what brings us back to Chipotle. I understand they just opened, so there will be some learning curves here, but we won't be back until these issues are corrected. And they dont apparently know that a burrito is longer than it is wide. Rather rolling up the chosen ingredient into a giant culinary softball. First, let me say that I love Chipotle. If my wallet and waistline would allow it, I would totally eat here every single day. In fact, my husband and I eat here probably once a week. However, yesterday's experience was just plain bad. When I got there around 7:15 pm on a Monday (so, basically the normal dinner hour) to get takeout, there were two other people in the restaurant and about eight workers behind the counter. No line at all. It took several minutes before one of the cooks prompted someone to help me, and when I was helped, the first girl seemed flustered and overwhelmed at the thought of making two burritos at once, so another girl had to take over. As we went down the burrito line, it turned out they were low/out of pretty much half of the ingredients. The girl scraped the bottom of the tin for barely enough black beans for both burritos, put a sad amount of steak in one burrito, scrounged together some grilled veggies, and told me they were out of chicken, but that I could wait a couple of minutes for it to come off the grill. If I had arrived a few minutes later, as the four people behind me, I would've been told that they were out of steak, chicken, veggies, black beans, and who knows what else. It was just so pitiful. I want Chipotle to stay in West Seattle, but I don't see them lasting here much longer if they don't get their act together. read more

The last few times we have gone to this Chipotle, they were out of brown rice at 8pm and not willing to make more. Also, every single time we ordered online and went at the pickup time, our order wasn't done. We stopped going after these two things happened multiple times. The service was poor, the food prep was messy, and most of all, it doesn't belong in the junction in our little village of West Seattle. This place can be really busy sometimes but the service is always pretty quick. Today 12/17/19 I came in grab some dinner for takeout. The line was pretty short and I was next to order. about the same time as I walked in, a man came in looking for a mobile order. His order was not ready and you could tell that he was seconds away from throwing a big fit and causing a scene. He practically walked behind the register to ask about his order. In comes cashier Seth who saves the day. He swopped in and made the mobile order in less than a minute working around server Lexi who was busy making another order. Seth got this mobile order made and out the door in less than two minutes, saving the rest of the customers in the building from having to deal with an obnoxious patrons meltdown. I don't know where the other people are getting their "poorly rolled burritos" and "lettuce-less salads", because this was my first time in over a year that I came to Chipotle, and I will be back soon because of how the whole experience was from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and made sure I got exactly what I asked for. All the ingredients were fresh, and the gal who assembled the burrito had another employee roll it for her since she said he was the best. And he was a pro. She made sure to ask if it was perfect, and it was. I wish I knew their names, but Delany was the cashier and she was wonderful. I got home and it tasted as delicious as it looked. Chipotle is great, as a franchise, but this one is just sub-par. I've been here a couple of times and each time the customer service is just plain bad. The staff seem like they just don't want to be there. I once tried ordering online with them, so I placed and paid for my food on my phone's application. I was scheduled to come pick it up a half hour later. When I got there 30 minutes later I saw my bag waiting behind the register, but when I got there nobody acknowledged my existence at all. No greeting or anything. So I walked up to the register and told them I had paid for my food, and the cashier told me to wait while she got someone else. Long story short I had to wait basically 5 minutes for someone to turn around and grab a bag. It wasn't even very busy. The frosting on the cake is after I got about a block away I realized they didn't put my chips in the bag. Annoying. Anyway, that happened awhile ago. I wanted to write this review because I went back again today and experienced meh service again. It'd be nice to get at least a "have a nice day" for once. read more

They are certainly getting better about their portion sizes! When they first opened I was underwhelmed by their service and portions when compared to other chipotle locations. They seem to have figured it out :) I was greeted promptly with a smile and my order was perfect. My only complaint is after ordering online I often have to wait for the order even after I arrive... just frustrating as I was trying to save time by ordering online. Totally agree with the other posts about them being stingy with portions. Actually I have been there several times and there is one employee in particular who routinely shorts customers on ingredients. When I go there I'm always disappointed if I see her working in the meat station but fortunately lately she seems to work the cash register. A lot of people misunderstand the purpose of Chipotle, this place acts as a fast food restaurant rather than a sit down and dine (but you can sit and dine too!). It's basically mimicking a McDonald's with a crossover of "Mexican Cuisine" so think of it like that. If you want something more natural and authentic go to Puerto Vallarta across the street. Nonetheless, the people do their job and you get what you paid for, the people are nice and some workers will actually engage in conversation or asking the typical, "how's the food?" This place has disappointed for the last time. I placed an order online and had it scheduled to pick up 20 minutes later. As per usual for this place, I showed up on time and my order was not even being started. Perhaps it would be understandable if they were slammed, but it was really slow. And again, they had 20 minutes to make three burritos and two soft tacos. Ample time. The gentleman that made our order was pleasant enough, but he missed an ingredient on the first burrito and by that point I was just completely over it. The complimentary chips and guac were nice, but what would be even nicer would be to have my order ready on time JUST ONCE or to have my burritos not fall apart midway through because they're so hastily and haphazardly made. Maybe invest in some slotted spoons too, so our burritos and tacos aren't soaked and pouring liquid into our laps. This place has a lot of room for improvement. I hope they get some leadership that has some time management skills and reads some of these reviews to help make some changes. read more

My son was so excited to have a Chipotle near our house. This is a disappointing location...I think due to the low volume, the food doesn't "turn over" fast enough...all the meat is "lukewarm" at best. We have had a bad experience at the southcenter location as well. There were 9 employees there today...no one working that efficiently. Tables were not being bused (so they were dirty) and for the line not being that long, it took a grueling amount of time. I used to think this place wasn't bad for fast food. I like being able to customize what I want on my order. However, on one or two occasions I found gristle in my meat. I am very sensitive to texture, and if what I'm chewing doesn't seem right, I react. So last night I decided to get some take-out. I had pork as my chosen meat. I bit into the taco and felt a huge squishy blob in my mouth which triggered gagging and retching. It was a very large piece of fat. I cannot deal with meat that has fat and gristle. It doesn't seem like whoever prepares the meat is careful about such thing. Rest of my meal ended up in the trash, and I won't go back. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE. Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. My boyfriend and I two chicken burritos. I immediately knew something was wrong with the chicken. It was extremely chewy with either pieces of hard fat or maybe even bone (needless to say inedible) in multiple pieces. I stopped eating as soon as I spit out three pieces of chicken, not being able to chew it. My boyfriend was really hungry so he ate more, but we pretty much started feeling sick really soon after. I threw up for the next two hours and my boyfriend felt sick the rest of the night. The only reason why he couldn't throw up is because the medication he is one stops your body from throwing up. I then not only had to call the office but had to wait for their customer service representative to call me who was not very nice on the phone and was reluctant to even give me a refund. ARE YOU SERIOUS, I AM NOT GOING TO PAY FOR FOOD THAT I IMMEDIATELY THREW UP. I say this as a warning to everyone else, do not go here. read more

Wow this has to be the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. They are so stingy with the amount of food they give. My girlfriend and I love Chipotle and we usually get their bowls. Every other location we've been to stacks their bowls to the brim to the point where when they put the lid on it smashes the food down. This location barely fills the bowls half way with quarter/half scoops of all their ingredients. My girlfriend ordered two bowls here to go and when she brought it home and I opened the lid it looked like someone already ate half of it. She then proceeds to tell me she watched them give quarter and half scoops of all their ingredients. I normally get half steak and half chicken and theres only like 5-6 pieces of each meat. The rice is barely noticeable, I ate all the sour cream they gave me in one bite. This place seriously is the worst Chipotle in the state. Corporate needs to do something about this place. read more
