This place has good tacos. I come here often but be prepared for hit or miss on your food sometimes. All their meats are pretty good. I would say the lengua was my favorite. I wanted to try adobada but they gave me chicken instead. Overall it was delicious and I'll come back.

Amazing food! Tacos and cheesy fries is my combo. If you have to choose only one menu item, then it has to be the asada tacos.

I have mixed feelings on Tacos El Asadero. I tried 3 days in a row to order a tamale and each day they said they had none. I tried once in the morning, once for early dinner and once late night. I also tried to order beef taquitos and they were out of those too. I'm not sure if they use frozen taquitos and ran out. The young guy who worked there was nice. I ended up ordering carnitas tacos and spicy pork tacos that comes with the standard onions and cilantro with two tortillas. The salsa came on the side and had a little bit of a bit. You also get pickled carrots, radish, lime and jalapeño. The carnitas were tender with a crisp on the outside and good flavor. The spicy pork was flavorful too. I would give the tacos 4 stars but a sad face for having tamales on the menu but none for sale over three days. The Taco bus is cool with seating inside and a covered area outside with tables. To avoid any disappointment I will stop trying to order tamales or beef taquitos. There is nothing worse to looking forward to something and then not be able to get the item. I'll still go back for tacos.

Not really sure why this place has a steady stream of customers. Yea the meat is pretty good but look at that sorry taco. Where's the onions and cilantro? From the various pictures other Yelpers uploaded, you can see how they're inconsistent with the ingredients and condiments. On top of that, each taco is $2.75?! I get we're living with inflation and rising gas prices but that's just a yikes for what you get. Torta was forgettable and didn't even have that much meat. I'm just glad I was content after sharing this meal with my gf. I wish we got green sauce because the red sauce tasted whatever. For 2 tacos and a torta I paid $17. Pretty rough.. my taste buds were sad and so was my bank account. Outside of the nice lengua you get with the taco, would not recommend. Lacking ingredients and overpriced. Sorry.

We have tried tacos with carnitas, lengua, pork stomach and beef cheek. All tacos are amazing especially the stomach and cheek. Love the pickles that comes with all dishes, jalapeños are spicy and good. Only downside is they do not provide napkins on the desk, which is hard to clean after a messy meal. Overall highly recommend!

Came back here because it's - priced well - has easy parking - food comes out fairly quick (10-15 min) - meat is well seasoned and cooked perfectly I noticed some reviews mentioned their tacos don't have enough onions, beans, or avocado. If you want extra ingredients, I'm sure you can just ask. The prices are very reasonable.

A very popular Mexican food truck for lunch! I ended up waiting longer than I wanted since there was such a long line. Tacos are $2.75 each and the plates (burrito, chimichanga, nachos, enchiladas) are all around $12. They have lots of meat options including stead, chicken, pork, tongue, cheek, etc. I got the burrito plate ($12) which came with a normal sized burrito with a side of rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole. The burrito had cheese and steak in it (no rice/beans/etc). Overall, I thought the food was pretty tasty. People mentioned in other reviews that the portions were big, but I thought the portion sizes were very average (I finished all my food in one sitting). I'd go back if I was in the area and wanted Mexican, but wouldn't go out of my way or seek out the food.

I came here on a Sunday night around 7pm and it was pretty busy with a line. I got the carnitas, lengua, and tripa tacos and they were all delicious but the lengua was the best for sure. I will definitely come back when I'm in the neighborhood!

Came for dinner Friday, and it was so good we came back on Saturday. This is the best Mexican food I've found in Seattle after having so many good options in CA. Tried 5 different tacos, nachos, carnitas combo, and asada fries. The tacos are small, but packed with meat. They are a little pricey at $2.50 each, but given there's not much quality competition around here, it's a fair price. The carnitas are maybe the best I've had. They had a combo of different cuts, including crispy skin, that melted together in your mouth. As a result, I came back for a carnitas combo the next day and it didn't disappoint. Nachos and asada fries are the same, but with a different base. Essentially they are loaded with melted cheese, carne asada, sour cream, guac, jalapenos, and tomatoes. I poured a little salsa on top and they were delicious. I think they fries were better, but next time I'll ask that they fry them a little longer to make them crispy. All in all, this place is awesome and you should check it out.

Got the carnitas enchiladas this time.....Holy moly. Probably my favorite carnival place in all of Seattle. A little fatty and so tender plus some crispy whisker bits. Usually I prefer steak but now I'm gonna have to consider carnitas from here. Can't wait to go back for more tacos and enchiladas. I'm so so happy to be close to a legit taco truck. Now please add some mole dishes and I will never visit another taco truck again!!!

However, it still tasted like it had a really nice flavor, and had a soft interior. It being actually spicy would've moved this dish up a lot, though each taco was primarily made out of this chicken - and there was so much of it it was practically insane - but I loved this amount shoutout to the onions as well - they were great I asked for the habanero sauce - which i thought was ok - wasn't spicy at all and didn't add much flavor. will go with another sauce next time tried mixing in some taco bell fire sauce which was interesting i love that these came wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve heat. a great touch overall, as far as taste, these were pretty good, but when you consider the amount of meat you're getting, along with overall portion size - it's simply a fantastic meal.
