Chicken burrito rocks
Jay M.

The portions are off. It's a bunch of kids working and I don't mind that, as long as an adult manager is around and that def wasn't the case. Chicken burrito had plenty of rocks in it. This is a new location, so I'll have to wait a yr before going back, needs improvement.

A not so "whole" some bowl for $12. This bowl is about a third full if I had changed the angle of the camera.

I rarely write a review let alone a negative one, but after several poor experiences at this location I'm done with it. Go elsewhere if you want Chipotle! I was so excited to see this location open as my family really enjoys the food at other locations. Unfortunately other than a nice building the portions at this location are a complete ripoff. The portions are so small and skimpy it is maddening and if I were the business owner I would feel guilty charging the prices they do for what is being served up. Pay $12 for a wholesome bowl that barely even covers the bottom of the bowl and is less than half of other locations. I get portion control to manage costs, and so you don't load the chicken on, but really skimping on the cheap stuff like even just the lettuce and onions is a joke. I also ordered a double chicken bowl as well today and you end up paying nearly $20 for about $8 worth of value. The owners are clearly either oblivious to what their employees are serving up or the cause for improper training. Either way, I don't expect them to stay in business long. Hopefully they will come around, but I'm not willing to spend another dollar at this location in the meantime. Get you some Ol' Skool across the street or make the drive to another location, Cafe Rio, Costa Vida, etc. Several other people are reporting the same in their reviews so perhaps they don't care... :(

""Salad""

Wish I could give a negative star. Went in to get a chicken salad, I had 5 pieces of lettuce asked for more lettuce and they wouldn't do it. Asked for corn then finally gave up because they weren't listening. Just a bunch of kids who don't care.

Found hair in my food... and I tried calling their number to provide a complaint. Seems like automation makes it difficult.

Keeping with a couple criteria, an untried venue, check! Food, (most importantly) check! and nearby, check! We decided to throw on some foot covers and head out the door. A quick jaunt and we'd arrived. Super easy to find even though it isn't street facing. Expecting it to be bustling with NYE recovery folks, we were surprised to find a quiet establishment that had two other patrons. Quickly I grabbed up a menu and we were immediately greeted with a friendly "Good Morning" from a very energetic and enjoyable young man. We sat and perused the menu. Talking over what we wanted vs what we should have. It took less time to make our decision for our order than most food stops in our past. I ordered the Mortician with Pepper Jack instead of the American Cheese it was paired with. Our order taker guy, (also the energetic greeter) inquired if I wanted to make it a double. I answered to the affirmative, (with a sheepish smile on my face). My wife conservatively ordered the Thursday Special, consisting of the Morty's Iconic Cheeseburger and fries. After paying and sitting down, our once greeter/order taker now waiter guy appeared with a large bottle of pour-it-yourself Fry Sauce and a handful of napkins. I looked over the sauce and quickly realized I hadn't ordered the Onion Rings that I wanted to try. I quickly mentioned to our greeter/order taker/waiter guy before he disappeared behind the kitchen doors that I needed the onion rings. With a smile and a thumbs up he said, I gotchu. I asked if there was a separate charge and stood up to pay. He quickly interrupted my advancement with an outstretched hand and a more pronounced, I Got You. This, of course was not my intention to get free stuffs but I was pleased just the same. My wife quickly grabbed some loose cash from her purse and added it to their tip jar. Thanks Babe! Once again you show me one of the many reasons for my affection toward you! We sat and did some chit-chat, continuing conversations from earlier that day. Sooner than expected, our food shows up, piled high and filling the plates with our side orders, (see photos). I literally had to take off the onion rings that were part of the sandwich makeup to even consider the possibility of moving the Mortician into my mouth, (TWSS! ...if you know, you know). Im finding this experience difficult to put into words. So, I'll sum it up. Delicious and juicy and fantastic! For once, outside of a homegrown burger, I'm able to enjoy the separate flavorings of Bacon, Beef, (which I think is marinated), the jalapeño and the pastrami as well as the aioli. After a quick drink to cleanse my palette, I grabbed up an Onion Ring. I paused to reflect on my existence and quietly muttered, this is really good! Crispy beyond any previous onion ring order from any of the, what could be hundreds of orders of rings during my 59 years, and delicious. I savored every bite, licked my fingers, and made happy "mmm mmm" sounds as I partook of this fine deliciousness. We finished everything! Talked about how this particular Morty's has now been labeled a family staple. Our experience is not just made up from the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, free onion rings, and did I mention the delicious food?, no. It's all of these as a whole, bigger experience, making it a unique and favorite beginning to a new year. Thanks to you, Morty's and our favorite greeter/order taker/waiter/I gotchu guy, we both are still smiling from our visit. Thank you for the excellent experience. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Her favorite is the #11 Enchilada (she prefers them because of the shredded chicken and "soft on her teeth" aspect). I personally ordered one of their Taco Salads (Asada, because I love steak)! It was absolutely delicious and loaded in ingredients. We also ordered a side of their medium size French fries and they were cooked exceptionally well and came with plenty of ketchup and mayonnaise (just in case you might want to make "fry sauce"; the Utah favorite out of them). I had kindly suggested to make the birthday meal "extra special", and the employees went above and beyond to do just that! Got a few tasty unexpected treats along with the sweetest note that can still bring tears to her eyes! The attention to detail, friendly and accommodating employees, along with the freshness of food and good portion sizes is the reason why this place deserves over a 10+ rating! Thank you ALL so very much. And if you're on the fence about this place, I highly recommend that you give them a shot!

I have to say, the food itself did not disappoint--the burger was tasty, and the shake was thick, sweet, and exactly what I was hoping for. So I really wanted to like this place... but unfortunately, the overall experience made it hard to enjoy. I went through the drive-thru, thinking it'd be quick and easy, but I ended up sitting in line for 32 minutes--which is just crazy, especially when the line wasn't even that long. When I finally got to the window, the staff looked completely out of it. I don't know if they were just tired or something else, but they looked either high, burnt out, or totally checked out. No smiles, no greeting, no "thanks for waiting"--just super low energy and like they didn't want to be there. I understand people have rough days, but when you're working in customer service--especially in food--you expect at least a little friendliness or acknowledgment, especially after such a long wait. The vibe from the staff made the whole visit feel awkward and uncomfortable. It's a shame because the food was actually good. But between the long wait and the awful service, I don't see myself going back. There are plenty of other places to grab a good shake--places where the service matches the quality of the food. Iceberg might have good flavors, but they really need to work on their customer service and speed.

Tonight we went for a single ice cream cone. There was one car leaving the drive thru and my husband went inside and spent 20 minutes for ONE chocolate soft serve cone. I keep hoping it'll get better, but at this point I've lost any hope. There have been times I've had to leave my order because it's take too long.

Flash forward to now, and I thought I'd give them another shot after viewing the delicious looking photos on here. Ordered a Jr. Crown Burger and a medium vanilla and orange cream shake. The shake was absolutely delicious and something that I'd definitely order again in a large size. The flavoring was phenomenal and it didn't melt all at once in this late Spring heat. The Jr. Crown Burger was filled to the brim with meat, but they forgot the onions and tomatoes along with the fact the bun was stale tasting and wouldn't hold together. I did go close to closing so I definitely will not make that mistake again. I'm not quite sure if it's worth the price (almost $10 for one burger) but there are definitely other menu options that I would like to try. All of the employees are very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy their job which was a nice thing to see. If you haven't tried them, I highly suggest that you do (but try to go during the daytime and not the later evening hours).
