I am a regular customer of Chipotle, but this visit at this location in Tallahassee is hands down, the worst experience ever! I arrived at 6:00 on a Saturday evening, for some dinner, and I find a line all the way to the door. After more than a 20-minute wait, I see that they had absolutely NOTHING! No steak, no chicken, no barbacoa, no peppers and onions, aboba chicken, etc...the only thing they had were rice, beans and that disgusting vegetarian slop - I saw a worker cutting up steak, so I requested to have them get it, but they refused, saying it was for online orders only! By now the line is well to the door and growing, and I'm trying not to lose my s**t with the manager...I ended up walking out through the line, telling everyone the situation, advising them to leave because the will not give you what you came for...This is Saturday dinner hour, located next to Florida State University, and these idiots were in no way prepared! Does this Steak bowl look worth $11 to you? Whoever was working tonight gave me half a bowl? I don't really write negative reviews for things at all because im easy to please, but this? Nah. She gave me half a scoop of rice, and I gave the worker a shocked and confused face and she gave me a disgusted face and asked "What?" with attitude. I am a huge fan of Chipotle, so with it being lunch time and I had a bit of paperwork to catch up on, I walked in with my laptop, ready to have a quick lunch and get a few things done work wise. The line went smoothly and the staff was friendly and efficient. So why only three stars? The two biggest reasons were that the place was dirty. Now I get that people get up and leave a mess, but this place obviously didn't have anyone wiping tables or any form of cleaning for a bit. I would say more than half of the tables were filthy from previous diners, so much so that I wouldn't sit there. Management needs to accommodate this with having someone walk through and wipe the tables down on a regular basis. The other one is that they didn't have wifi. I can't recall if the other locations had wifi, but almost every fast food place does. It is a shame that these issues plague this location. read more

I attempted to place a to-go order and was told I had to wait outside. I wait outside and watch several people leave the store. There is now a line forming outside so I decide to peak inside. I see staff walking around casually, oblivious to people waiting outside the door and individuals from food deliveries trying to pick up food. It's one thing to make people stand outside, that's understandable, but to have no one stationed outside informing customers when to enter the restaurant to avoid "over" capacity is pointless. I can't really say anything about the food because they were out of basically everything, but our service was impeccable! My car ended up breaking down in the parking lot and my friends and I had to wait for AAA to come give my car a jumpstart. The Chipotle employees were gracious enough to let me and my friends wait inside the restaurant even though they were closed. They weren't able to offer us any food, but we were given free drinks while we waited. Thank you to the very hospitable staff who worked the closing shift on 2/11/22! This is your classic Chipotle, always packed! Since it is so close to campus you'll find college students lined up to the door. Luckily, the assembly line style Chipotle uses to serve makes the line go quickly. I always go for a bowl. I think you get the best bang for your buck with it. My go-to is the chicken, although all the meats are good. If I'm feeling something different I go for the Barbados it's super flavorful! If I'm feeling a little more healthy I'll go for the sofritas (their tofu option). I have tried all of them though, and they all are delicious and mix well with whatever you g With my bowl I get a tortilla on the side and make some mini tacos with my bowl. I honestly dont know why I keep coming back to this chipotle. This is my third time coming here and receiving frozen corn. I am a vegetarian and most time only get rice with salsa , corn, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. So when the corn is frozen to where you cant chew in it it becomes very noticeable. When I told the manager that I no longer wanted my bowl because of the frozen corn I was told "corn is always very cold" so I advised him to touch the corn for himself and feel how hard it was and he stated "I know what our corn is like" I was just lost for words and really hope that they improve because this is not how management is suppose to act. I love Chipotle, but this Chipotle in particular could use some serious training and improvements. I try to avoid coming to this location, but it's the closest to where I live and when I don't have to time to drive to the further Chipotle to satisfy my cravings, I'm forced to settle... and almost always regret my decision. On my most previous visit in particular my experience was rather unpleasant. Upon my arrival I was pleased to see there was no line (perks of summer in Tallahassee), but when I walked up to the counter no one greeted or even acknowledged me. One employee who was at the counter literally saw me standing there and continued what she was doing. After standing there for a few minutes with no one else in line in front of me someone from the back finally called out for someone to come help me. When the girl came to help me she was rude, seemed aggravated, and even rolled her eyes at me.. I get that people have bad days, but it should never be taken out on the customers. She made me feel uncomfortable and as if I was inconveniencing her. Additionally the portion sizes at this location are consistently lacking. Let's be real.. if I'm going to Chipotle chances are I'm pretty damn hungry, and when my bowl is only about half way full that's disappointing. On my previous visit here they didn't have any lettuce or fajita veggies available (and I wanted to get a salad so this was frustrating). Just to make this whole experience worse as I was eating my mediocre sized bowl I bit into something hard and realized it was a chicken bone... GROSS! Downside: not many options: tortilla (white no wheat), a few salsas, one kind of rice (cilantro-lime but I swear I couldn't taste anything in the rice) , no jalepenos (I don't like them anyway but what "Mexican Grill" doesn't have jalepenos?), and the BIG NONO no kids menu. I have no kids yet. But the giant burritos are about a meal point five. It would be nice to have a smaller portion option. But service was pretty good and quick. I haven't dined in - and TRULY I can't think of any place on Tennessee St with nice enough scenery. But this is a great spot with fresh ingredients to have a brown bag lunch.
