I had an online order for 6pm, I ordered about 20 minutes before and asked for the quickest time. Once I arrived I waited for over an hour for my food. Once I got it, I got a bowl instead of burrito. I asked if they could just put everything into a tortilla and they were out. Not a big deal that they were out, but the fact that no one said anything and were going to act like nothing was wrong with it. I was pretty pissed, but I asked for a refund since it's not what I ordered and they couldn't do it. I had to do it through an automated messaging system but before I even requested a refund they threw out the food they gave me. I didn't even get a refund, I got a free entree I have to use in the next month which I don't even go to chipotle often. I also don't get any money off my extra items, i had queso, extra chicken and guacamole. So all my money spent on extra items is gone. I also got no food. The lack of service and decorum here was ridiculous. I don't care that it took an hour but someone saying hey we apologize about the wait, it will still be awhile would have been very nice. The people I tried talking to about it were rude and the behavior from some of the staff was unacceptable. I would like to thank those staff members that were helpful and very kind. This Chipotle location is awful. I ordered online to pickup at 6:00pm and we didn't get our food until 7! No exaggeration. The pickup time was at 6pm and we were sitting in the restaurant for a full hour. The management at this location is abysmal. They were out of tortillas! So instead of canceling online orders for people who got burritos they gave everyone a bowl instead! And refused to refund our money! Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I am a HUGE chipotle fan. There have been times where I have eaten here and ordered the same thing each time 5 times in a week. The food always tastes fresh whenever I order. The food is 5 stars to me, but this location itself is not the best chipotle. It is always extremely crowded (not their fault) and because of that the portions are a lot less than they usually are. Side note- I was extremely excited when chipotle announced that they were going to start having queso. This is the only food item that has disappointed me. It's almost more of a dip than queso and I don't think their is enough flavor. Still worth trying it at least once!! Another side note- the sofritas are a GREAT vegetarian option. This review has been the culmination of multiple visits to this chipotle, as a former employee at another Chipotle located in Orlando, this restaurant fails miserably to achieve the standards chipotle expects to be upheld. The first time I ate at this location, I received food poisoning, the following time I was under portioned even asking for double meat didn't bring it up to the normal portion. Third time, I ordered a bowl on Halloween and instead of receiving my bowl I received someone else's burrito which was labeled as Sofritas despite actually having none. Chronically affecting this chipotle is the under portioning of salt in almost all of their dishes, today when I asked for a side cup of one salt serving I was told you cannot do that, despite that being something that is allowed under chipotles policy as part of "surprise and delight" I am severely disappointed in all of my experiences and wish to see change. read more

I love Chipotle and the food is normally pretty good. This singular Chipotle restaurant is absolutely horrible. They are always out of food (or just too lazy to make it), they are stingy with toppings so you always have to ask for more, certain employees are often rude, they never prepare for lunch/dinner rush so it's always a long line or there's never enough food prepared beforehand (practically always out if either rice, beans, lettuce so there are no bases for your bowls). placed my order online to pickup for 7:40. got there at 7:40 and waited when the woman behind the register told me it was being made. waited longer. and longer. multiple people had gotten their online orders already. At 8:15, someone who I assume was the manager told me, and 2 other people in my situation, that they had received our orders, but were not going to make them and suggested we get in line. So after being told my order would be ready for pickup at 7:40, I had to wait for a half hour just to be told to go in line. I go to this chipotle a lot, and what I've found is that, if you want quality food and service go early. There has been MANY times this chipotle has disappointed me, due to unfriendly workers and small quantity of food. I went at around 11:30 am and it was the opposite. August 11, 7:50PM Here's the run-down: 1. staff attitude/culture is off-the-mark, at this location - as well as at the World Market plaza location (you know, on the Parkway - close to the new Red Robin). The only reason this place isn't a one star is because of the cheerful and "can-do" staff member who first greeted the line. The next guy down the line (the guy who's putting the veggies and stuff on top of the basic construction) was pleasant enough as well. 1a. We start getting into "the dicey zone" when the cashier rings me up before I give a drink order, or when the two additional quesadillas make their way down the line. I told her that I was going to add two fountain drinks and two quesadillas and the body/facial language was not in line with anything remotely reasonable to the situation. I was the inconvenience to her. I chalked that up to a likely brand-new employee who probably did a lot of eye-rolling and "pffft"ing throughout the 1/2 hour employee orientation. 1b. the "dicey zone" morphs into the SNL-skit zone once I realize there is no unsweet tea dispenser at the drink station. permit me a play-by-play paraphrasing, please... Customer (that's me): "excuse me, are you out of unsweet tea?" (asked when returning to the cashier - her sidekick, previously unnoticed, pipes in. Staff member ("sidekick" from above): "uh, naw. we out" Customer: "are you sure"? Staff: "yeah" (mutterings in the background with others, then) - "uh, but I'll check in back though" Customer: "great - thanks!" Staff: walks into the walk-in cooler located straight back and to the right. emerges a minute later with a single cup, filled 60%, of what appears to be unsweet tea. "here you go" Customer: "thanks!" - walks back to the table - 2nd to the closest to the exit - and tastes it 1/2 way to the table - realizes it's sweet - and doubles back. "excuse me - this is sweet tea." here's where it gets good... Staff: "naw - that's unsweet" Customer: "naw - this is sweet." Staff: "that's unsweet" Customer: "This is sweet. you know how I know? - because it's sweet. very sweet." Staff: "Well, that's all we got." Customer [bewildered] looks at the sidekick, and then at the cashier, "who's all, like, whatev" I walk back to the table - in large part eager to get back to a standard keyboard and share this gem of a review. Quickly, in fact, did I lack feeling any disrespect as a customer. It has been such a long time since I've had the guilty pleasures of a one-star that at that point, I just went on to eating the fare. 2. Regarding the fare - quesadillas. c'mon... - the most dullard of undergraduates couldn't mess this up in their dorm toaster oven. salads (wife got the veggie - I got the carnitas) - sure, they were good. they would have been A LOT BETTER HAD I NOT HAD TO DEAL WITH SIDEKICK THE CLOWN! 3. Finally, let's talk about the trash receptacles in the dining room, as well as the ladies' room. (I'm no cross-dresser, the ladies' room insights are brought to you courtesy of my wife): 3a. the drink station and parking lot exit door trash receptacles were overflowing. i.e., it was unreasonable to cram any additional refuse in either. 3b. the women's room, in the words of my wife, appeared to been some colonic crime scene of sorts. this is really peculiar for me, since I fancy that gender to be far, far persnickety about such things as cleanliness. "Executive Summary" -Not every Chipotle ought to operate as though Steve Ells OR Monty Moran (look them up) were present in the dining area. no one is perfect. -However, every Chipotle ought to have an accountable shift manager watching over and making corrections as needed. -I have no personal issue with Chipotle. my parents-in-law, for whatever reason, love it. I'd much rather be treated to a friendly "welcome to Moe's" any day. There must be a reason why - EVERY TIME I've been to a Chipotle, I come up against this lack-luster service. What is it? - There's no question that Sidekick the Clown is an anomaly. I suspect it very well might be his first job ever. it's even possible that it was his first day. That's all the more reason why he should have been shadowing someone - anyone - who knew the ropes. I don't want to call him Sidekick the Clown. I'll bet he's a nice guy. But there's a manager at Chipotle who set him up to fail. Not cool. Anyway - there's a solid enough stream of undergrads that feed the cash register here so that my words can very likely have zero effect. For those of you that have a broader choice of where to go, I'd say Caveat Emptor. Or, maybe I'd say come and see for yourself. Perhaps I'm the one who's off-base here! I agree some of the staff needs a serious attitude change. Most locations will greet me with a smile. This one did not at first however the second person did great me politly. Smiling is simple and painless. Put on the "customer service mask" and leave your feelings at the door. However Chipolte is a wonderful company. I ordered a sofritas burrito! Just a little pro tip..... if your trying to minimize carbs and grains they normally will let u sub rice for extra beans........! Of course I always ask this politly with a bottom lip out and puppy dog eyes! Unlike other reviews they had a full container of unsweet tea. I gladly mixed my lemon aid with my unsweet. I have only had 1 decent/normal experience here. This chipotle is (not all) but filled with extremely rude workers. My first time every going to a chipotle, ever! I was being yelled at to tell them what toppings I wanted at the end of the assembly and I was still at the tortilla heater.... I didn't know what I wanted because I had never been there before and I was yelled at by a worker. My second time I was attacked by a crackhead and she stole my food and wallet and everyone stood around and watched it happen (I get it, not their fault) but any other time I built up the courage to go back there.. my food is either cold, way under proportioned even after asking for double of something and it's slapped on their like I'm some animal with an attitude. They were super rude and were out of brown rice and queso (which is crazy for a 330 on a Sunday). It's as simple and knowing what you doing. If clearly asked IF THE CORN FROZEN.. tell the truth, yes...no...or even a tbh I'm not even sure. That way the customer will decide if they want it or not. I freaking love Chipotle. This particular one is always swamped with college kids because it is so close to FSU's campus. The food is good, but if you want to get food worth your money, get a bowl. There is way more food in than than in a burrito and they cost the same depending on what meat you like the best. I am more of a fan of Chipotle than I was about a year and some change ago, but twice now I've experienced far-too-hurried and near-chintzy service. I don't know about the fillings preference for each and every other reviewer, but I'd definitely assume that most want first tier/station ingredients included in their order. The order for the person behind me had been started too, although both that order and mine had nothing but the meat portion of the dish. I suppose that moving the line along was the concern in this instance. That's undoubtedly because we can expect most Chipotle lines to be miles long, but really, this line had not reached the 'to the door' point by any means. The second tier fillings employees moved my order back over to the first so that I could get a little bit of rice and literally about 3 or 4 beans. I've seen helpings that were on the sparse side before, but the labored measuring of so few beans was mildly astounding. The beans in question were not running low, so what gives? I brought my own bag for the order, so while that wasn't an issue for the final check out, the packing employee stuffed my cup in the bag and tied it up. Well, that's nice, but I bought the cup so as to FILL it in the store! I had to assert what size drink I wished to buy, for the cashier was automatically ringing up the larger (more expensive) cup. The shrinking portions and sly up charge on drinks are recurring experiences--the larger cup and surprisingly hefty (overall) total had been sprung on me at another Chipotle location. Final note: buyer be aware of what you're really getting in those totally tasty bowls, tortillas and burritos. read more

Not to mention there is barley any protein and before you say why didn't you ask for more, I was trying and the worker completely blew me off and said it would cost extra. Chipotle is a great place in general. I always go in for a salad and for $7 it's a good portion of food. I always have leftovers and I always get 3 little tortillas on the side to really make it 2 filling meals. Their meat is definitely tasty but a little on the salty side for me so I tally go with a veggie salad. The fajita veggies are really good and I get to use guacamole as my meat substitute which is awesome because we all know that's their best item. The dressing is horrible for you but great tasting, I use just a little. I love chipotle but this location is not too great. They're always running out of stuff, they've messed up my online orders multiple times, the staff isn't very friendly and I've noticed they give smaller portions than any other chipotle I've been to. It's probably because of for busy it is since it's location is right in the middle of a college town but still.. they've had a while to make some adjustments and the same problems persist. read more

THERE ARE BUGS IN AND AROUND THE FOOD AT THIS LOCATION. So disgusting. I Asked for double corn and then the guy giving me double Corn realized that there was a big bug in my bowl that came from the corn container he scooped out of. Ok even though I normally would never give a highly appropriative fast food chain 5 stars I'm going to break my own rules because I've been to this Chipotle 3 times recently (I am not in control of my pregnancy cravings ok!?) and each time the service has been overly fantastic. Every. Single. Person in the Chipotle assembly line is super smiley, patient and kind. I'm not kidding; it's not exaggerated and its not contrived, they all just seem like genuinely nice people. Maybe a manager took heed of Yelpers complaints and had some magical professional development but it is such a joy coming here and being served by such amazing employees. The place itself is exactly what I have encountered in any other Chipotle: always clean, the food is consistent (although usually the veggies are really under-cooked and here they always seem to be cooked very well), and fresh. Guarantee if someone swiped your card for an extra $2.50 you'd be getting off your ass to make sure that you got something in return.
