She was super friendly, funny and helpful. Dad even said the service def made it a great dinner. The store was clean even on a busy Sunday night. Our food came out fast, hot and correct! We ordered a Honey BBQ Strip on Texas toast Combo, a Sweet & Spicy bacon burger combo, a #1 Whataburger meal combo no cheese and a #3 Whataburger meal combi w mayo and cheese! Updating this review of my driving-back-to-Orlando-from-home Whataburger. It's the most convenient one off of the I-10, so I frequent it. Ambiance of the drive-thru is fine. There is plenty of room in the parking lot for the long line of cars to snake through. Service is fine. Whataburgers in general used to be faster, when the majority of them were franchise owned. Now that they are all corporate and owned by a big business daddy, you can be in store for a long slog of a drive time as you wait for your food. Hope you are listening to an entertaining podcast. As for the food, it's pretty standard. The best fast food burgers on the market right now, fries that are just salty enough and fried to a perfect golden color, milkshakes that are thicc, flavorful, and not too sweet, and of course the best condiment that was ever invented, the Spicy Ketchup. Every time I come, I ask for extra extra Spicy Ketchup, because I don't have a Whatburger near me. So, obviously this place is kind of a dump, but it still cranks out deliciousness, so I keep coming back. read more

At 6:13 Placed an online order for 4 Junior double burgers. No drinks, no fries just burgers. Order said it would be ready 6:18-6:21. After 20 minutes of waiting we ask about order and we're told one burger was ready and they are working on the other 3 burgers. After 40 minutes we're told they're still working on it. At 50 minutes we cut our losses and walk out. The place was filthy and after waiting that long for 4 burgers I didn't want to risk getting sick due to lack of sanitation measures. read more

Absolutely horrible. We literally come here every time we roll through town because we don't have whataburger where we live and we miss it. This staff are at this particular location are the absolute WORST. Could literally give a flying you know what about their demeanor, customer service, timeliness of an order, or getting the order right. After many attempts I am happy to report we have FINALLY learned our lesson and won't ever be back. Whatabuger is delicious. This review is on this location. Avoid this location at all costs. Placed an order on the app for pick up at 11pm. It said it would be ready in 7 to 10 minutes. Arrived at 11:11 and tried to open the door and it was locked. There were about 20 teenagers inside. Someone came to the door and started yelling thru it saying " we're closed. Go thru the drive thru!" I explained to them I had a pickup side that was ready and the said it didn't matter, still have to go thru the drive thru. There were able 12 cars in front of us in the drive thru. We waited 20 minutes and not one car had moved. While my husband waited it the car I tried to go inside again (its now 11:36pm and my food was supposed to have been ready 25 minutes prior). Again, same thing. They said "we're closed inside, go thru the drive thru" but no one inside was working! When I got back to the car we still had not moved so at that point we just gave up. Issue was, we paid over the app. $35 and no food. Had to file a complaint with their customer support and it took 3 days to get a refund. Of course no other compensation was offered for this horrible inconvenience and terrible service. There are a lot more restaurants in that area who would appreciate the business. read more

There is never a single time in the morning that they don't take forever. 2 people in line and we waited 20 minutes. 5 more people ended up in line during that time. Whataburger's appeal to me comes in it's exclusivity. The only time I can get food here is when I am in northern Florida. My fiance and I drove to Tallahassee Thursday night and were looking forward to the late night burgers. We arrived in Tallahassee around 10:30pm. We headed on over to Whataburger and there was a line in the drive-thru. Every time I've been here, there is a line. We didn't wait too long and things moved along pretty quick. I ordered the double meat Whataburger and my fiance ordered the Whataburger Jr. Both were ordered as medium sized meals. While ordering, I could barely hear the person on the speaker. On top of that, apparently he could barely hear me, when I was almost yelling. I double checked my order with the employee before I left the speaker and everything was right as he read it to me. We then moved our way along the line to the pickup window. It only took about 5 minutes to get around to the window. Our food was already bagged and ready to go. I then realized why I could barely hear the person taking my order. He was wearing a mask. The total was around $18 for the two meals. The lady at the window was friendly and handed us our food. Once we got to my parents, we dug in. I am sad to say I did NOT get the double meat burger. Only a single. I double checked the receipt on the bag and sure enough, I paid for a double. The fresh veggies on top were good, with the lettuce, tomato and pickles. The burger itself overall was good but not mind blowing. The fries were also ok. They were lightly salted but didn't taste super fresh. My fiance and I looked at each and were disappointed in our meals. Perhaps our expectations were too high coupled with the excitement the whole ride up. This fast food meal was about the same as any place for a quick burger and fries. I used to come here a lot when I was coaching Little League at Levy Park. Had many a relaxing late supper after practice and games while reading College Baseball Weekly. This location has been here seemingly forever and has always been a comfortable place with good service for me. Just like Burger King is heavy on the mayo on their burgers, Whataburger is heavy on the mustard. They make your burger when you order it and they make it your way. These days, when you dine in they bring your order to your table. Their ketchup comes in little tubs rather than packets which makes dipping your fries so easy. This location is open 24/7. read more

It was incredibly busy, we came on a late Friday night and it's definitely the hang out spot for all of the college students. We were in the drive through for about 45 minutes. I went with the Patty melt and fries while my fiance got the burger, fries and a shake. Let me just say, these are the best fast-food french fries I've ever had coming from a french fry connoisseur. Pillowy soft and perfectly crispy, they're like if McDonald's and In-N-Out had a baby and with that spicy ketchup it was transcendent. My patty melt was also amazing, greasy, buttery and delicious. I was very happy to learn that they were open 24 hours because we had just driven from Jacksonville Airport to Tallahassee and weren't sure if we were going to be able to find any sort of food at 12:30 am. The woman taking our order at the drive through window was very friendly! We ordered one chocolate shake, one medium fries, one grilled chicken sandwich, one honey butter chicken biscuit, one Whataburger with American cheese and one Whataburger with monterey jack cheese, no onions. We received one chocolate shake, one "dry" Whataburger, one Whataburger with only lettuce, one Whataburger with cheese, tomato and bacon and three orders of fries! The only item we received correctly was our chocolate shake. I want to give a shout out to the team at the Whataburger on N Monroe. I have never been to a Whataburger before. I have to say it was rather busy, and the team were courteous, efficient, and worked very well together. Quality of the food was great. I have lived here for 20 years and this place puts the two McDonald's and the Burger King to shame!!! It is well worth the slightly more pricey items well worth it!! I will definitely be going back. Yesterday we ordered breakfast for 10 employees and scheduled it for 8:10AM. Went this morning to pick it up and they couldn't find the order. Had to go back to my car and get a copy of my order to show them it was the Thomasville Rd WB. They then found it in the computer. Had to wait 20 minutes for them to put it all together. First of all, everyone was nice. Everyone was professional and knew how to treat the customer well. I told them it was my first time at Whataburger and a dude named Zack suggested the sweet and spicy but I went with a regular double meat cheeseburger. I had a 3 hour drive back to my home and I wasn't about to chances with spicy food. For real, I'm not that much of a thrill seeker. I don't take those kinds of risks. Everyone, Zack included, were just very chill and didn't seem miserable like most fast food workers. I mean, they might have been miserable but it didn't show (no one would blame them tho...I mean, I don't think I'd be able to suppress the urge to smack jerk customers if I worked in any kind of retail place, mostly because so many people are assholes). My wife has an allergy to sea salt and they checked to make sure they didn't use any in their food. The burger was great. I was especially impressed by the bun. It was a little bit doughy and had some weight and substance to it, unlike buns from other fast food places, Five Guys included. The burger was also pretty big. I am a big guy (6'7 and 255 lbs) and I was pretty full after eating the burger and some fries. The fries were only okay but honestly I don't give a fuck because the burger tasted so good. Anyway, just wanted to shout-out the folks working that day (do people still shout people out? Is that even still a thing? I'm not even joking, I'm old af...I have no idea. This location on Monroe Street doesn't understand how to handle an online order or curbside pickup. We placed an order 15 minutes ahead of time, arrived at the pickup time, and still waited 15 more minutes for our 2 burgers. There were only 3 customers inside and 3 people parked in curbside pick up, no one in the drive through. An employee pulled up and parked in the 4th curbside pickup spot and went inside. The other people waiting for curbside pickup apparently were frustrated and eventually went inside to get there orders as did we. Don't waste your time ordering ahead.
