I was very disappointed in my chipotle order today. I have ordered from here multiple times in the past and the food is usually okay, but this time it was not good at all. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl, and the rice was hard, chicken did not seem fresh, and the guacamole was brown. The chips I ordered were stale as well. They clearly gave us old food from yesterday. This location never lets me down in terms of consistency as I am a frequent customer. Probably have been here 50 times. Food is always good. Due to higher employee turnover there's always different people working the line so the portion sizes do vary often even though there is supposed to be a standard every time. That's my only complaint. Other than that I've never had a bad meal here food quality/taste wise. I love chipotle in general. read more

I might be out of touch, but spending $14 on a burrito or salad just isn't something I'm going to want to do very often unless im specifically craving a burrito. I kept driving by this and I know there's one in the mall as well as a few sprinkled around the city, but this place will give you what you want if you want a burrito. Lots of parking, in a plaza with lots of options if you're not specifically craving Chipotle. I mean the rest is pretty much standard. You get your meats that have been sitting in the window, either dry or overcooked at one point, rice beans all of the toppings. by the time you add guacmole, you're at about $14+ with taxes. Listen I mean I think the craze for Chipotle is maturing, but I seriously can't go for spending $14+ for a burrito where that same $14 can get me a full meal at multiple places in the same plaza, heck across the street in a variety of restaurants. Came here trying to avoid the busy food court crowds of Vmills on Boxing Day and "dined in." Normally I just grab and go, but I was too hungry to wait. We found this corner booth a little hidden and it was so damn cozy and warm there. I temporarily forgot how cold it was outside. I got a sofritas bowl and the portion size was great, just perfect enough to satisfy me without being too full. Service was fast and friendly, can't really complain about anything. I actually tried tobasco sauce for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised (even though I was dying a bit from the heat lol). Would definitely be back. This location opened recently. The staff are friendly and outgoing here. I ordered a bowl with steak and I feel like they are more generous with the toppings than other locations. The taste is pretty consistent with other locations except the mild salsa tasted less citrusy than other places... it could be that it was made fresh and the flavours didn't have enough time to absorb. The employee that helped me was really funny and we engaged in small talk. I was enjoying myself so much that I forgot to grab a fork before I left the store. I enjoy this location much more than the other one nearby. I'll definitely come back to this location. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I took my mom out for Valentine's Day after taking her to her Dr's appointment. There was no one else in line and they threw are food together like there was 20 people behind us. The chicken was dry, hardly any selection of toppings and the things that were there looked like they had been sitting there for hours. The service also was terrible. This new Chipotle is located in the parking lot in front of Fortinos at Major Mackenzie/Jane St area. Brand spanking new, one of the feature walls hasn't been finished yet...so it's still a work in progress (at least I hope they don't think that stained plywood with cutouts for speakers is acceptable). If you've ever been to a Chipotle in the U.S. of A, you know what to expect...if you're a Chiptle virgin, this is the scoop: You walk up to the counter...select either a burrito, a bowl or salad, pick your meat, pick your toppings..then head to the cashier to pay. Pretty straight forward. What sets it apart are the meat seasonings and choice of cilantro-lime rice (either brown or white), pinto or black beans, corn salsa, etc. The meat (I've done the chicken, steak, pork...in the US) is seasoned perfectly...it's really flavourful and is the main ingredient, so being tasty helps. The cheese has got a rich rich flavour (not like some places that have "mystery bland cheese") and the other ingredients are fresh. For this visit I ordered a chicken burrito, white cilantro-lime rice, pinto beans, cheese, mild and hot salsa (the mild is chunky, the hot is a sauce) and lettuce. The burrito was stuffed to the limit and oh-so good. My dining companion ordered the same, but with brown rice. We both could not finish or lunch (that rarely happens...I think maybe every 4 years like the Olympics). 2 burritos, 1 water came to just over $21. They also have a kids menu, nacho chips (with either guacamole or salsa) and quesadilla. The menu is not huge..just the good old basics. Can't wait to go back..... read more

Just went to this new location today and glad to say I loved it. I've had food at chipotle from other places where some items are hit and miss but the taste of everything was perfect today. Ordered a veggie burrito and veggie burrito bowl. They do not cheap out on servings that is for sure at this location!
