I hesitate giving a 3, because the food itself is usually very good. However, the last few times I've come in, I have received stale tortilla chips mixed in with fresh. I asked the server if the chips were fresh and she said they were always daily fresh. I let her know I had received stale a couple of times and she kind of argued with me about it, that they are always fresh - like I was lying. She did end up giving me the bag for free, but three out of four bags lately (and I eat there regularly) have had stale chips. read more

I could tel one of the girls working the counter was having a a bad night but before she even got to the back you could here he talking crap about the customers behind their back. I decided after months of not going to Chipotle to give it a try tonight. My birthday free chips and guacamole came through on my app. Which the franchise recommends you use. So as I was leaving the office I placed my order for pickup. However it would not let me use my birthday coupon. I spent the minimum of $5 so I was confused. When I got to the store for my 5:50 pm it was not ready. I asked the counter person why the reward did not work and she said she did not know. She got the manager who was very abrupt by saying it doesn't work when you order online or on the app. I said that is weird nowhere in the terms does it say that. She said, "I don't know, that is what we have been told" turned away as I was talking and said, "Here you go" . Wow all I asked was a question and wanted an explanation. My husband has been obsessed with eating here lately. It's not bad, so I don't complain. I really like the barbacoa tacos. The meat flavor has the perfect amount of kick. I always order a side of guacamole. I love that the avocados are fresh, and that they add a bit of lime juice. Chipotle is Eco-conscious, and that's a plus in my book. The only detractor about this particular location is that they seem to be really inconsistent when it comes to portion sizes. Sometimes they give me a nice serving of meat, rice, etc... I was pleasantly surprised. This was my first visit to Chipotle and I ordered 3 crunchy tacos with corn salsa. Pretty darn good. Very crispy shells and the meat actually had some flavor. The staff was SUPER SPEEDY and friendly. I look forward to going back. read more

Chipotle rocks. Everything tastes way more fresh than the other fast casual Mexican chains that are around. The meat is flavorful and delicious without it slopping around in a thick sauce like the competition. It's simple: choose an item, choose a meat/meat substitute (or skip it). My go-to is the salad, but I also really like the tacos. You can get hard corn shells, soft corn tortillas, or soft flour tortillas. Yes please! I normally stick with the chicken or steak, but you can't go wrong with any of the meat choices. Guacamole is extra, but holy moly Andy it's good. It's fresh with a kick, just like I would make it at home. I could just eat a side of the guac - no joke. Sign up for their text messages and you will get BOGO meals every so often plus free chips and salsa or other perks to get you in the store. I know many are concerned about eating at Chipotle because of all the E.coli outbreaks and what not, but it seems like they've made a lot of changes across the stores nationwide (including getting rid of the lemons next to the soda machine to put in my water - sad day!). Now I am just gonna be honest here. I love Chipotle. I think they have much better food then the other popular quick serve Mexican food restaurants in the area. I am just not a fan of Costa Vida or Cafe Rio sorry folks. The food here is hot and fresh. They are also fast which is a big plus. When i am hungry I hate to wait. We love Chipoltle! Love the use of fresh ingredients and the custom made options for Mexican food. We order everything from the burrito bowls to tacos and kids meals. The guacamole is an extra charge but always worth it. It is rare that we ever have to wait over 10 minutes from entering the door to eating. The steak burrito or steak tacos are both my favorites. Would absolutely love it if they would have the option for a wheat tortilla but still love the flour ones too. Drop in and try Chipoltle soon. read more

I have been here a total of 3 times. First time was because it was the place everyone went to and loved. I disliked it the first time, I don't remember what I ordered but I didn't like it. After a few years of not returning I decided to give it a second chance. It was delicious, I ordered the chicken salad with pinto beans, chicken, sour cream, tomatoes, red hot sauce and their salad dressing. I swallowed it because I fell in love with their dressing! I literally went back the third time the next week and got the same thing, but with their tofu and it was still delicious but I prefer the chicken. Now that I am obsessed with their salad specifically the dressing I'll be coming back when I want a decent sized salad. PS, I can't believe to add guac it's $2! read more

This Chipotle specifically: Love that is always clean - HUGE Burritos are made, the people working there are super nice, and are always chill. What to get: I love their carnitas burrito. I tried their sofritas (tofu) version, and it was quite great too. I love getting the corn, onions and peppers (fajita style), black beans, wheat tortilla, and spicy salsa. You can ask for any salsa and different kinds too. Not handling this virus situation well. Website says to call when you arrive to pick up your order but they don't answer the phone. Lots of people waiting outside with no idea what to do. Orders are being put on a table and I guess you have to guess when to get them? I went in at seven pm to get my order and was yelled at by the employee because only people whose orders were scheduled at 6:40 were supposed to be inside the store. Forget Cafe Rio...This place ROCKS! Started in 1993 near the University of Denver this chain of Fresh Mex Burrito restaurants really seems to be taking off, and I'm so glad we have one in Utah. I first tried Chipotle in Evanston, Illinois and we were amazed at the taste improvement that quality can have on your average burrito. The manager at this location is very friendly and does everything to make your experience good. he accomoded our large group of 6, and even let us in 10 minutes early so we wouldn't have to wait in the blistering sun. When you get your burrito with hot sauce you really get it hot. They don't kid around with the spices here. I love the hot sauce with some green tabasco. "Food With Integrity" is their motto. Wow! And looking at the company website you can find a whole write up on the quality of food products they use. Their food is made with no artificial colors or artificial flavorings, zero trans fats, no sugar, and most of their meat is naturally raised. read more

They were ok. Neither great nor terrible. Very middling and quite forgettable. Went there over the weekend. The choices seemed very limited; they did not even have fresh tomatoes or olives for their dishes. They had chips and salsa for an appetizer but it wasn't the greatest and certainly not innovative. Who is running this business? Insanely infuriating. I called in an order to go at 6. They told me It would be ready to be picked up at 6:30. I got there at 6:29 and waited 16 minutes in the pick up line. When I got to the front of line, the kid asked my name and told me the total. Before I paid him I asked how much longer it would be. He initially said he did not know and tried to take payment again. I informed him that I wanted to know how long it was going to be, he resisted having to actually go find out and tried to guess. He said "probably like 5 mins" I asked him to please go find out, as I had already been waiting 16 mins. He came back and told me at least 20 more minutes. I immediately left. I ordered one thing, it wasn't some huge order. And the most annoying thing is that they are the ones that told me 6:30 would be ready. I'm an avid chipotle customer. Every time I come here, I get an awesome burrito, and the employees are always great. The atmosphere is comfortable, yet not homey. Chipotle is my husbands favorite 'fast food' place. Reliable, consistently good. I usually go with a burrito bowl (tortilla on the side). I like that you can add grilled veggies along with your meat choice. Yes, I'll pay for the guacamole. I'm a sucker for the creamy avocado goodness. This location is always clean. Employees are always nice and friendly. The only complaint I ever have is how LOUD the music is. This seems to be a Chipotle theme. Music volume seems the same loudness at every single location. Call me an old lady... but can you turn it down? I'd like to talk to the person I'm dining with... guess it's perfect for the youngsters who text each other across the table, instead of actually speaking to each other. Came here on May 1, 2018 ordering veggie burritos to go. Very disappointed! First, not much flavoring which vegetables give flavoring, bland, rice had no flavor, and non-existent cheese. To top it off, my partner, my friend, and I had food poisoning from this specific location. Then my friend's friend went to the same location recently and of course, got food poisoning. This was my first time coming to Chipotle. I had high expectations since it was talked up so much. I ordered a steak burrito with brown rice, black beans and cheese. The presentation was great. It looked delicious. I take my first bite and for some reason it's spicy. Now normally food being spicy is not a bad thing. However I have bad acid reflux. So spicy is not good for me. Other issues were unmelted cheese, it was still cold and didn't compliment the burrito. The steak to beans and rice ratio was not even. Overall my first experience here was not that great. Garbage chicken. If you like biting into fat, gristle, skin or whatever every bite then get the chicken. Its not even white meat, and the taco shells are crispy, sure but brittle as hell and fall apart. I saw the guy making a chicken bowl and there was a chunk of pure fat sitting on tope of it. Not bad for fast food but I don't think they are nearly as good as Q-doba. The biggest problem is that the nearest Q-doba is in Denver and I don't get there as much as I used to. The menu is easy to read and the food is decent. read more
