Normally have no issues here at all. HOWEVER, I just watched one of the managers with a temp stick literally sticking it in and out of every part of all the food without cleaning it or using gloves. He was sticking it into the rice, the Ben's, the meats and the sauces measuring everything and not cleaning it off. This is how cross contamination happens. It's OK. Place is not in the best location. It's located in a strip mall where you can sell your plasma. Some other side streets in the area that we accidentally wandered on to had that "...hmmm maybe we shouldn't be here ..." vibe. The experience of getting the food wasn't too bad. It was semi-efficient. The guy who made my burrito definitely gave me less stuff than the customer ahead of me who had another person make his meal. It was a meh burrito. Went to the bathroom to just wash my hands. It was pretty dirty. Stuff on the floor I did not want to know it was. Fountain drinks out of Coke at one machine and also out of various agua frescas in several dispensing tanks while the rest of the tanks of agua frescas looked almost empty and I wasn't sure how fresh the leftover stuff was. The food portions were out of control. One dude was giving out way too much food for burritos. The other server was giving out not enough food for bowls. Pretty busy place because it's the only somewhat clean food choice around the entire area (city). Chipotle is expensive yet they don't give you enough food at this location for how much you pay. Never in my life of ordering chipotle have I seen my bowl not even filled up like I ordered before, I think this is unacceptable. Also If you decide to order inside the service is okay could be better also if you ask for a bowl they also don't fill the bowl that much. read more

Just did a in person order and already they had no white rice available. last week was the same thing as well. They did not have chicken available, so I substituted that for brown rice and got steak. When it came to pay the cashier charged my card 14.94 and then tried to say my card was declined and tried to charge me 20.28 umm no. I showed her my statement I was charged and she said "my bad" which clearly it was and things happen but I won't be charged twice that's for sure. This was a honest experience and review that I don't need to makeup but this restaurant needs to get it together. Not the best Chipotle! I was frequenting Springfield for work and staying at a hotel a short walk away Downtown, so I've been to this Chipotle three of four times. It doesn't stand out as the cleanest location and the last time I went they were out of white rice (not a problem for me, since I go for the brown rice). On one of my visits I asked if they were coming out with new guacamole soon, since it looked pretty brown, but the girl working that part of the counter said that's just how the avocados were. When I came in a week later it was the traditional green. On my last visit I noticed my chicken was a little pink, which kind of turned me off to this location. I will probably be back due to the convenience of the location, but am taking a little break. read more

Weirdest experience I've ever had at a restaurant I think? The first employee who's the "bowl or burrito guy?" Literally didn't talk. I don't mean he was short or curt, he literally didn't speak at all which was... unsettling. They were out of veggie options, queso, guacamole... 1 hour 45 min before closing time. The local West Springfield Chipotle is lacking in cleanliness and food options. They never have anything because they are always short-staffed not sure if that's true. When visited there was 7 employees on duty so not sure why they always come up with excuses. Terrible service. I asked the server if they had forks, she stated no and walked away. I asked her for her name. She started laughing and went behind the counter. What kind of restaurant has a server like this this happened on Monday around 530 there was also a manager who did not even respond. The Board of Health should be contacted as you had no forks available, and your counters were filthy. The service was terrible. The counter was very dirty and it was not busy at all for that to even be an excuse, including very brown guacamole. It was still 2 hours until close and they were "out of everything". Seemed more like they didn't want to restock anything. The lady at the end of line used no gloves to close my bowl with very long fake nails, and then proceeded to lie to my boyfriend about having no chips as they were right behind her. Eventually another worker gave us chips for free but the other lady had the audacity to try and rudely charge us for them as we walked out. Is it normal to get a huge chunk of fat when ordering the carnitas (pork) and when brought to the attention of the employee at the register,she rolls her eyes like I'm trying to take advantage of her. I just left the West Springfield chipotle. It has gone down when I walked in there. There was a wine building up. There was a whole bunch of employees just standing around talking while there was only two people attending to customers the one girl that was working the online order proceeded to scratch her braids, barehanded pick up her phone use her phone while there was orders piled up and people waiting for their food did not wash her hands, but proceeded to touch. I am a vegetarian. Therefore I only order cheese quesadillas. I've never had a problem ordering cheese quesadillas after I ordered my son's meal I've proceeded to order my meal, and the poor gentleman told me they can't make quesadillas. It's online ordering only. mind you I come to that store at least once a week and I've never ever in my life. Been told that ask for the manager because it wasn't the poor guys's fault. The manager didn't know how to handle her store told me it's always been like that you can only order your quesadillas online one in fact, I just went there last week last Thursday and had my cheese quesadillas which I ordered in store. I have to order online 20 minutes or 30 because the girl doing the online orders was doing everything else but making the food. Meanwhile, my kids are gonna be done eating and I'll be waiting for my food. Somebody refused to wash her hands, her hair and her phone. As i was talking to the manager about this the same girl interrupted us and began saying i work here you do t. you could either order online or leave. THE WORST! This location was good when they first opened but over time has gone down hill very fast. It is a very common occurrence for them to have no chips, lacking other ingredients, and getting orders wrong. Orders are also usually late even after you show up late in anticipation for them behind behind. If you value your time, money, and sanity avoid this location at all costs. I ordered a veggie bowl with Romain lettuce corn salsa black beans and white rice and literally got just beans and rice. my boyfriend's burrito had all the ingredients that we're supposed to be in my bowl in his burrito.
