The adjustments did not help. I was even feeling worse at one point and the doctors kept saying "oh yeah it's normal to feel worse at first" - with no real legitimate explanation. I did eventually feel a little better but I don't think it was because of their adjustments. I found the doctors either condescending or creepy. When I asked one of the drs if he recommends any exercises to strengthen my back, maybe something that isn't as intense as what I normally do which is deadlifts, since my back is still recovering, he said "You do deadlifts?" and literally laughed in my face. (I'm a young woman.) That was the last straw. I feel like these people actually do take themselves seriously and believe they're helping. So maybe some clients sense that and believe in them. But they're not really doing anything. Save yourself the trouble, and the money!

My back pain never improved. I decided to terminate my membership, and they wanted me to do it in person. I'm old enough to know that's a marketing trick. I have been to him a number of times over a year ago while I was suffering with shoulder pressure and massages just wasn't doing it. While I was skeptical of acupuncture therapy, out of desperation, I gave it a try. Within two minutes of introducing myself, he beat me to it pointing out where my pain was and talked me through his remedy plan. Within just a visit or two, I began to feel the lightening up of pressure and after a few more visits, there was no reason to go back, I was healed. Fast forward a year plus later, I pulled out my lower back so bad from either moving furniture or picking up my 10 year old (like he was 10 months old); it was so bad that I was hunched over and could barely take a step or two. I thought a day or two of laying off coupled with a mineral bath would help since I am pretty healthy (practice regular yoga) but to no avail, the pain was not subsiding. On that Monday, I called his office to make an appointment, leaving a voice mail.
