Out of nowhere I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and fell to the ground. I thought it would be temporary and everything would be ok, but sadly I was wrong. I tried to go in to work and had to get off the train and rush to my boyfriends chiro for help. He did what he could, but the pain was still unbearable and I had a flight to catch! I made the trip, but it wasn't enjoyable at all, looking back on things, I should've just taken the L and missed the trip, but I had to be there for my friend and I feel better now so worth it right?!! Once I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist who had me fill out all the proper paperwork and then I went to see Dr. Bruce! I explained to him what was going on and as soon as he examined me I started crying. When I tell y'all my pain was unbearable I was not kidding! He could tell how much I was hurting and assured me that he'd do everything to help me feel better. After just the first treatment.... y'all I couldn't believe it but I actually left feeling better. I was walking back to my office with a smile and a little pep in my step. I thought they were doing some kind of witchcraft in there because the difference from when I walked in to now leaving was HUGE! I couldn't wait to go back to my next session so I could get to 100% The second session wasn't so great, I left thinking things got worse, but after the third and I fourth, I realized this was all part of the process and finally I can say that I am back to my old self.. but with a better back! Dr. Bruce was fantastic and I am so thankful to him for helping me get to a better place. Although I feel better, I plan on going back soon because it's nice to just get seen and make sure things are going along as they should. After this experience I realized, you shouldn't wait until something is terribly wrong to make yourself and your health a priority. And also, the massage therapists they have there are AMAZING!!!!!! Especially Dax, he has magic hands and I believe he could've cured me just with those!

Couple days later, I found myself in excruciating pain on my upper back (shoulder blade) and called them to see if I can pop in for that first visit. Not only did they say "yes, sure come in now," but they also treated the free consultation as if I was already a paying client. Very very nice staff, big & clean office space, looks like they treat all different kinds of things due to the number of staff members and equipment. Already have a follow up appointment. i've had 2 VERY successful surgeries from the Doctors at Atlantic Spine. my first was a laser…read moreremoval of a centralized stenosis that was shutting down my right arm and causing heart and lung issues in 2012. Dr Liu took all my pain away and gave me back my lifting abilities all while treating me like an actual person, not like a dollar sign as i had been in Erie. he explained the surgery completely, and the team set up everything from my hotel as well as travel to and from the hotel to surgery center. i have often spoke with folks debating on getting surgery done and hands down the most amazing place i've had work done. and because of that, i went to them again last year for detrimental cervical spine issues. In early 2025 was told my spinal column c5-c3 was unstable and in x-rays you could see it tipping off to the left. the pain i endured was so bad, i often thought about just ending existence. my pain was as if someone put red hot coals under my skin and into my muscles from my skull down to my lower lt region and across my entire back and into my shoulder and down both arms...and the pain was 24/7 with zero relief for months. Dr. Bitan preformed a double discectomy with the insertion of 2 cadaver bones and a mesh around c3-5. I INSTANTLY had relief of all that pain. recovery went well as i was back to doing the bulk of my normal life within a couple days and as the pain subsided from the surgery (he really had to move things around as i have a large, muscular neck) i've been accomplishing more and more of my life again (this spring i will go back to cutting firewood) and i've even picked up a few NEW hobbies in life.... Dr. Bitan and the whole team of Atlantic Spine Center ( his whole surgical team as well as office staff -Love you to death Lisa- truly treated me with compassion, understanding (in my darkest hours of pain i was not a pleasant human) and overall REALLY gave me the feeling they cared about my health. they moved mountains for me and i went from putting together end-of-life plans to now living again. i was not sure i would make it to my 50th bday in the end of january, but Dr. Bitan and the team all DID make it happen and now i'm finding more happiness at 50 than i did the last couple yrs of life (turned out this issue had been going on for a couple yrs only on a smaller scale and had built up to life threatening after an incident). i've been sending everyone i talk with through my business (we own a meadery in Erie pa and are on tons of events as well as folks coming to the bar) to Atlantic Spine Center so they can truly find respite and a life again. sorry if i rambled, i'm just THAT happy and excited to have this pain gone AND be able to do my old life PLUS more again. thank you and much love to Dr. Bitan, Lisa and the whole team of Atlantic Spinal Center!!!!!!

I'm forgetful so I appreciate the reminder texts and how prompt they are in responding. Not to mention their hours are late (7pm I believe) so I used to come after work for a 6pm appt The facility is really clean and I feel safe here. They take my temperature and check my oxygen levels before servicing me. I was afraid of needles (still am) but these needles are painless and after every session, I feel immediate relief. I do acupuncture for stress/anxiety, acid reflux, allergies, blood circulation and from time to time muscle aches or strains. I feel so relaxed and the massage afterwards is incredible. Both Jessie and Deena have miraculous hands and I like my deep tissue massage. I also started doing PT and Dr. Lee is amazing. I've had a bad knee since I've had ACL surgery so he's been helping me with exercises and stretches to increase my mobility and range.
