The chicken and the beef are great here. Flavor wise, no one is close. They slow cook on a wildfire grill. They have fresh onions, cilantro and salsa at a bar. Their tortas are also very tasty. They have a half chicken meal that is a really good value. Eat here for sure. read more

We were on our way to Sequoia park and we were looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't fast food. The food was delicious with many options and it was relatively inexpensive. They have Adobado tacos which I've only seen in Mexico. The owners were very friendly and it was nice to sit outside and have some food after driving for hours. read more

Delicious Mexican Food! This place is a little hole in the wall joint where you walk up and order from the window but the smell of the fresh meat cooking really brings you in. They have a BBQ outside where they are constantly cooking their delicious meats. I have ordered asada burritos and tacos and they are the best I think I have ever had. Prices are good, and the food is authentic. They serve it plain and let you add what you want with their bar of onions, cilantro, salsa, etc. and I also request cheese to be added on mine. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas. This is by far my favorite place to go when I am Lindsay and I highly recommend giving it a try! read more

I love this place. The good is simple no frills but that's what makes the quality! They're not trying to make several different things but instead focus on making a few things well. The meats are delicious and although I've only had tacos, quesidilla, and the family meal (chicken & beef). I can tell you all were great portions and flavorful. Delicious authentic Carne Asada and Pollo Asado. Chito takes great pride in his craft. The grill is fired by wood which is pretty cool.

This is the best mexican food in the Central Valley in my humble opinion. Mainly because the pollo and asada is perfectly marinated and most importantly cooked over a fresh oak wood grill every day. All BBQers know that nothing can beat real wood smoke/charcoal in terms of flavor. Combine that with always fresh veggies/salsa bar and you have a recipe for the best mexican I have ever had in the San Joaquin valley, even though I grew up in Visalia. A very basic walk up is what this place is but they sure do have good food and quite a bit on the menu. I enjoy their chicken tacos, and asada burritos. Very friendly, family owned, and very reasonably priced. My only problem is that the tacos are on the small side, but at the price it's easy to buy multiple and get your fill. They do serve everything plain and you add what you like which is great for me as I'm a bit picky with what I add. read more

I love this place, and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I haven't tried everything on the menu. I can only speak on the burritos, tacos, and family dinners that they offer. So, based on what I've eaten, all the food is extremely high quality and fresh. I don't feel like I'm eating yucky, processed foods when I buy my meals from here. It's like a healthy, home cooked meal, away from home. They don't skimp on their servings either. Prices are excellent and reflect the quality/quantity you get in return.
