Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.

I went in for a simple fill, yet I was convinced to remove my nails and get an entirely new set instead. I wanted acrylics, but the technician said she was allergic to acrylic, which made me question why she works at a nail salon in the first place. I ended up getting dip powder and wasn't allowed to choose the color I wanted because she claimed it wouldn't look good on my skin tone. The quality of work was terrible. Dip powder was left all over my nail beds, and the shape was nothing like what I asked for. I was the only customer in the salon, yet the service felt rushed and careless. The technician didn't listen to me at all, made excuses, and ignored what the paying customer wanted. Definitely thought it was overpriced for what I got done. To make matters worse, the gel polish used for the French tip chipped and peeled within hours of leaving. I walked out completely unhappy. I will never return to this place and absolutely do not recommend it to anyone.

I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.

I went last Sunday afternoon and I had gotten a pedicure there a few months prior and liked the outcome so I decided to go back again. I'm pregnant and I wanted some self-care done so I told my partner to come along with me and we both got pedicures done. As the girl was working on my feet, I felt a burning sensation under my right foot toes and she noticed something was wrong just by the way she looked at me and pointed at my toes (I wasn't sure then what she was looking at till after I left) so I let her know it burns a lot and she continued on with the pedicure. It was the most uncomfortable and painful treatment I got done, I was ready to leave. As my partner and I were leaving, he knew something was wrong and I let him know she may have cut me since it felt so uncomfortable to walk after that. Later that afternoon, I checked the bottom of my foot and noticed tiny cuts on my toes that were definitely not there before. I started having body aches and chills, it got progressively worse till Monday morning when getting out of bed, my right foot felt so heavy and hurt so bad when I even tried walking on it or applying pressure. I had to go to the emergency room twice that day since I had a high fever with body chills and they told me it was a skin infection from the pedicure I got. I couldn't believe it being true since nothing like this has ever happened to me and now I'm 3 days in with this swelling and pain, I'm traumatized on getting another pedicure again.

But my "2-weeks past my refill time" nails looked horrible. So after a Yelp search and a confirm from a dear friend, I made my way to this local "fave". When I arrived 20 minutes after opening, it was packed and I immediately second-guessed my decision. But, the "people mover" who greeted me was so friendly and welcoming, I decided to stay. He asked what services I would need and got me seated for a mani-pedi within 5 minutes. My pedi nail tech was super nice and for some reason switched to doing my fingernails while someone else came in to finish my feet. Everything was going well until check out. The friendly neighborhood people mover asked about my experience and then asked to inspect my nails. He turned and said something to another nail tech and then next thing I knew, I was being ushered to another chair to "fix my nails". They didn't look bad to me. I just got a powder dip... nothing special. I was content and had no complaints. Apparently, I'm crazy because they were not letting me leave "like that". So, after 20 minutes, the head tech was happy. She assured me that they check ALL work to make sure customers leave happy and stay happy. They even have a 7 day guarantee. Wow!!! This is the best nail salon experience I've ever had. I will be here whenever I'm in Dallas. Side note: I watched them do BEAUTIFUL nail art of all kinds.
