Prefer to go to the Dartmouth location but was in the Fairhaven Outlet and decided to give this one a go. Called ahead and was told they could see me now but when I arrived I was told to wait for the owner to get back (about 15 minutes) she was not back so another lady started on my nails going back and forth between me and a another customer getting a pedicure. I told them I wanted a dip fill , they proceeded to ask me if I had tips on and I quickly told them I did not. I have natural fast/strong growing nails, she did not believe me and kept checking my nails looking for some indication that I had acrylic tips on. It was rude and unsettling. At that point she got up and asked another employee to do my nails. By the end I had 3 separate women working on my nails, which is just not ideal or sanitary. The number 1 issue with this place is no matter WHAT they will accept you for an appointment. Multiple times I have been here with an appointment and I end up waiting 20-30 minutes. I asked how much she asked if it was gel pedicures i said yes with french tips. She quoted us $75 each against my better judgment I AGREED! Their computer was down and they only taking cash and venmo, already feet soaking, AGAIN I AGREED! My daughter had a great experience ME on the other hand was rushed because she had a client waiting and had to stop to fix the computer. My sister and I came in on Saturday and did not like my sister called and they said they will remove the set and start over. They never did they stated no need. Then I was told that to do coffin I need longer nails and I said that's fine do what you need to do and they proceeded not to do so. Found a gem of a salon! Leah did a great job with my dip manicure and gel pedicure. She was absolutely meticulous, and her attention to detail was fantastic. Some places leave the dip too thick or rush you through the service. She took her time and did nice thin layers. Looks great! Worst place to get your nails done! Got here at 10 am for a manicure and pedicure. Left at 12:30 with this. Told the lady doing my nails that the tip acrylics were not right! She said I'm not finished I said it doesn't matter the tops aren't on straight. She argued with me and made me so uncomfortable and stressed out. The owner started doing them, told me they weren't right and she would remove. I said I don't have time to just paint them. She did. She and I both agreed they looked horrible. She said let me remove I said no I don't have time I have to go to work and tomorrow I leave for vacation in Florida at 6 am. She started removing anyways! I pulled my hand away and grabbed my bag and left. I never leave reviews but my experience was awful so here it is. I waited for a while to which is no biggie things happen but when I got seated the lady was like I need to hurry up and do her nails because she came in so late. I was there an hour and a half before they closed. As I'm getting my nails done I can see that she's not being very sanitary and notice black on her nails I gave the benefit thinking maybe she has a medical condition and just kept letting her do my nails. Well I have bad eczema in between my fingers and she rubbed some Lotion on my hands at the end. The next day I woke up with my hand swollen and tender near my eczema and the day after that I had to get checked out my hand was in so much pain come to find out I have an infection bad. The lady who cashed me out was rude.. I asked them if they take cards when I first got there and they said yes. I had a gift certificate and a debit card for whatever remainder I had to pay. As she's cashing me out she's getting mad at me because they don't take tips on the card so I'm being nice trying to find out different ways to pay so the lady would get a tip she shot down every way. I had appointments confirmed by the salon. Three of us wanted pedicures which was a great pedi. However The nail polish was old and she had to use four coats to get it the right color. Once we were done the salon continued to take walk-ins before the people with appointments. My mom sat in the chair after two hours and the nail tech took her polish off but then left her to start on a walk in pedicure. One of the employees told both of us to sit at her station and when she saw I already had dip on my nails she made me soak my nails in acetone for 30mins while she did my friends gel manicure. And then proceeded to make me wipe of my own dip because it had disintegrated. I am paying you to remove and apply new dip... After an hour of waiting she proceeded to do my dip manicure and while filing my nails cut my finger. I pulled my hand away and she tried pulling my hand back to continue to file. I had to tell her to stop because she was going to continue as if nothing happened. And I know for a fact they are not using new tools on every costumer. I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. It took about an hour and a half for both services. One tech for each service. They both did an excellent job. The salon was very clean. I rarely leave reviews but feel a need to. I have had my nails done here every 2 weeks for months. I never found the service to be either great or horrible just ok. I went during the week and had always been taken in a reasonable amount of time. The salon is clean. As you check in on the machine it says (in writing) $5 off after every 5 visits. At some point I asked about the $5 discount and the tech looked confused and said no. Since management wasn't there I waited for the next visit and asked again. Had to show them where it was posted. They talked about it and then gave me the $5 off. A little aggravated that it took effort to get $5 off when I go so often. Went for acrylic fill on Feb 2 and because it was their New Year I got someone that was filling in from one of their other shops. He did a good job and was quicker then I'm used to. Went to pay my usual $45 (fill with french) and was charged $48. Again he was from a diff shop so I didn"t say anything. He said I couldn't put a tip on my card so I used the atm in the shop. Gave him $58. for the mani and for working on what was a holiday for them. Checked my account a week or so later and was charged $4 for using the atm when the posted sign said $1. That charge was the the owners doing and not a tech trying to scam a couple bucks. Poor business ethic on the part of the owner. As I said I had been getting $100 worth of mani every month. I'm surprised to see that this place has a 4 stars. I've never been to a more unprofessional establishment in my life. I get pedicures very frequently and I've never in my life had one faster than 30 minutes. My appointment was for 11am and the lady was done by 11:24. She completely rushed through my pedicure, my feet literally still have callus and she did not massage me with a hot stone or use a hot towel like my sister sitting next to me received. At the register I asked the girl if that was an additional service or if it comes with every pedicure. I was genuinely asking not being a smart a** or anything and the lady who did my pedicure was so unprofessional and screamed at me yelling "YES I DID HOT STONE, YES I DID HOT TOWELL, YOU WERENT PAYING ATTENTION" Lol so you're saying I wouldn't notice you putting a hot stone or hot towel on me? All she did was a massage with oil. Which okay fine no big deal but the worst part was the scene she made yelling at me in the salon. It was so embarrassing and all I kept telling the cashier was don't worry about it I'll pay for it, it's not a big deal I was just asking. And she ignored me while the lady continued to yell. They lowered the price $5 which I told them they didn't need to do. It wasn't about the money, it was about her terrible service. There was not one thing good with this experience. First of all, the woman who did my eyebrow wax basically removed half of my eyebrows, even when I asked for her to just clean them up. I'm not sure what I was to say when she asked what I thought, since she can't paste them back on. The manicure was fine, nothing special, but the atmosphere was terrible.
