Great Service and Fair Price! I called Roman in October because we had a couple of outlets that were no longer providing ground protection and had been "tripped" during an inspection when we purchased the apartment. Roman and his associate arrived on time and were very quickly able to identify the problem. He had the outlets working quickly and did not mind making a trip to Home Depot to purchase outlets that had lights that matched the backsplash in our kitchen. Been meaning to write this review for service from 2021. Roman provided a 'free' estimate over text message based upon my description of the problem. When he arrived he found that there was actually no issue with the circuit or fuse, and he told me he still needed to charge $200 for coming out! He offered to replace the fuse anyway, which would be included in the price. He also said he had to charge because it was difficult to find street parking. I would not hire again. read more

Look no more - this is your electrician! Roman was able to fit me in on the same day of my Saturday call. A whole wall of outlets stopped working. Roman carefully reviewed outlets on two floors and my circuit breaker and diagnosed the issue - old faulty work from the seller (no surprise). Luckily, Roman carefully restored power and also neatly patched up where he needed to cut into the wall. He was an excellent communicator - both when arranging the appointment, and in explaining exactly what was causing the problem and how he would resolve it. He even drew me a diagram! Reasonable price in the area and Roman is quick to troubleshoot my bathroom outlet and light.

Making an appointment with him was difficult enough but when the day came and he couldn't find street parking he just left and said he wasn't interested in the job. I told him multiple times that I will pay for his parking at a lot next door but he said he doesn't trust that I will pay him for the parking fee. He only does jobs in jersey city so not sure where he can get jobs with parking readily available on the street. Guess demand is still high that these clowns can walk around refusing jobs for ridiculous issues. read more

Roman is good, honest electrician who charges reasonable rates - maybe the only one in Jersey City. His hourly rate includes diagnosis whereas other electricians in JC will charge nearly $200 just for a diagnosis. We have worked with him a couple of times, first to install a large range hood and recently to repair some electrical parts that were damaged in a basement flood. Both times he responded immediately and was able to come within 24 hours, completing his work quickly and efficiently.
