I have been trying to workout so I could get stronger, feel more secure, and of course lose weight, but nothing has really worked. I've been paying for a gym membership for over 2 years and I'm still where I was when I started. Can't say that I didn't go because I needed a workout partner cause I have several but I would start and quickly lose interest. Any and everything was an excuse not to go, but then I found Choe's HapKiDo Martial Arts Duluth and my excuses were done. I started taking classes approx 5 weeks ago thinking this would be something else that I would start and get bored with but that hasn't been the case at all. The first week I took 3 classes, the 2nd week it was 5 classes and now for the past 3 weeks I have been going to all 6 classes. Choe's HapKiDo Martial Arts Duluth is a wonderful place! I am stronger than I have ever been in my life. I can do burpees and push ups now(not just the girl ones). I can't wait until the next class and no matter what I don't want to miss a class. I actually rearrange my schedule now so I can make it to class and feel bad if I'm a few minutes late. The classes are very rewarding. Where do I start? I was looking for a workout that I would continue and not get bored with. My company has an onsite gym similar to a LA Fitness or Planet Fitness complete with personal trainers and a schedule of classes. I went briefly to the Zumba class, and got bored really quick and stopped going. I started coming to Choe's HapKiDo Martial Arts Duluth Georgia in January 2013 and am still coming starting my 3rd year. My plan is 4 days a week and I actually feel guilty of I miss a day. I get the best workout and even though I have to drag myself out each evening, I am back the next afternoon. The instructors are great and they take the time (one-on-one if necessary) to ensure you have the correct moves. I have a blast every evening and look forward to the next day. I have been a member at Choe's HapkiDo in Duluth for about a 2 months now and all I can say is WOW!!! My body has changed so much in the past 2 months it is crazy. I did kickboxing at another place and thought no other kickboxing class would top it till I went to Choe's HapkiDo! It has been such a great experience and the instructors are GREAT! They guide you through the every technique, and don't make you feel like a fool if you're doing something wrong! I look forward to going to the classes. This is a great academic experience for the young ones. My brother and I enjoy our classes and it has changed our lives. This helped us alot and a great sibling bonding too. My 9 year old son started hapkido 4 years ago, due to the pandemic we had to take a one year break, when we returned, I thought my son would have to start from the beginning, but the instructors encouraged and helped him remember his techniques and everything he has learned, all the staff is highly trained, they are very patient and professional they all done an amazing job.
